Abeyta -- Adrian Miguel Abeyta, age 31, passed away Tuesday morning after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his parents, Alex and Yvonne Abeyta; brother, Alex III; sisters, Lisa Abeyta Sanchez, Lucinda Abeyta Crowley and Stephanie Lovato; grandmothers, Remedios Abeyta and Angela Martinez; nieces, Samantha, Alexis and Alyssa; nephews, Justin, Christopher and Matthew; his beloved friend Liz; and many other dear family and friends. Adrian lived life to the fullest to the very end. He was a bailiff for the Second Judicial District. He loved to snow ski and will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming NE. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:30 a.m. at the Church of the Risen Savior, with Fr. Paul Baca, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Gabaldon -- Mr. David J. Gabaldon, 49, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 28, 1998. Mr. Gabaldon is the beloved husband of 26 years to Mrs. Yolanda L. Gabaldon. He is also survived by one daughter, Iesha Marie Gabaldon; two sons, Luz"Marcos" Gabaldon and fiance, Shelly Chavez and Carlos Gabaldon; his parents, Lloyd and Connie Gabaldon; one grandson, Gabriel Christopher Gabaldon; two sisters, Sharon Gonzales and husband, Javier, Cecilia Rodriguez and husband, Manuel; one brother, Lloyd J. Gabaldon Jr. and wife, Barbara and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gabaldon was a member of the Maranatha Church, Veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the D.A.V. #13 and a Veteran of the Vietnam era. A funeral service will be held Thursday morning October 1, 1998 at 10:00 at the Maranatha Bible Church, 476 57th NW with Pastor Dennis Otero, officiating. Visitation will be at the church after 9:00. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 with Military Honors. Meier -- William G."Bill" Meier, 83, an Albuquerque resident since 1972, died Monday, September 28, 1998. Mr. Meier was a 15 year member and past president of the Four Hills Lions Club, where he was honored as a Melvin Jones Fellow. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor of the family home; daughters, Jeannette Schulz of Alton, IL and Alberta Costanzo and husband, James of Albuquerque; son, William E. Meier of Yorkville, IL; step-daughters, Dorothy Sikora and husband, Fred of Burbank, IL, Beverly Matthews and husband, Robert of Greensburg, KY and Kay DeLaet of Greensburg, KY; step-sons, Robert DeLaet of Vallejo, CA and Lee DeLaet and wife, Audrey of Chicago, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Meier and wife, Emily of Chicago, IL. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, October 1, 1998, 1:00 p.m., at Faith in Christ Lutheran Church, Chelwood and Indian School NE. Milligan -- Eduvijen Milligan, 83, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and sister was called home to be with the Lord Monday, September 28, 1998. She was born on February 28, 1915 in Tularosa, NM, daughter of Amado and Necolosa Aragon; she was a resident of Albuquerque; she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Milligan. She is survived by six daughters, Sister Angelina of Jefferson City, MO, Mary Twilley and husband, Richard of Albuquerque, Jessie Kufman and husband, Karl of Phoenix, AZ, Rita Baca and husband, Robert of Albuquerque, Lucy Milligan also of Albuquerque, Teresita McGathin and husband, David of Peston, VA; two sons, Jerome Milligan and wife, Agnes of Estancia, NM, Sammy Milligan of Albuquerque; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Domacio Aragon of Albuquerque. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held this evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, corner of 8th and Stover, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM. Interment will follow at the Peralta Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Bobby Baca, Tony Cordova, Joshua Gardner, David Chacon, Robert Baca and Sammy Milligan. Mirabal -- Al Mirabal, 28, beloved husband, father, son and brother, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, September 27, 1998. Al is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Alexandra; step-daughters, Victoria Dyer and Michelle Tyler; parents, Al and Kathe Mirabal; step-mother, Carolyn Strauss; sisters, Corine and Madie Mirabal and their partners, Stephanie Reinhardt and Laura Naranjo; Godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nino Gonzales and Mr. and Mrs. Marcy Gurule; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Al was a 1987 graduate of West Mesa High School and a student at the University of New Mexico. Al, we love you and will miss you dearly. A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 1998 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna N.W. Nakos -- John Nakos, 88, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, died Monday, September 29, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Florence of the family home; sons, John C. Nakos of Rio Rancho and James T. Nakos and wife, Diane of Albuquerque; and brothers, Jim Nakos, Steve Nakos, both of Connecticut, and Tom Nakos of Illinois. Mr. Nakos served with the US Navy during WWII. He was a mechanical engineer in charge of construction for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Reindorp -- John Edmund Reindorp, a resident of Albuquerque, died suddenly on September 25, 1998 at the age of 57. He was proceeded in death by his father, John K. Reindorp; and his son, John Jr. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna Forster Reindorp; one son, John and his wife, Jessica of Albuquerque; four daughters, Kim Wayman and husband, Steve of Cortez, CO, Lauren Ralstin and husband, Troy of Cortez, CO, Chris Reindorp and Karin Reindorp of Albuquerque; his mother, Molly Knott of Albuquerque; his sister, Betty Nevans and husband, Mike of Blaine, MN; his step-mother, Lucille Reindorp of Albuquerque; his step-sister, Kay Oglesby and husband, John of Albuquerque; two step-brothers, Carl Keeney and wife, Susan of Maple Grove, MN and Cleo Keeney and wife, Mary of Robbins, IA; seven grandchildren, Jason, Kevin, Darren, Krysstal, Tallon, Keegan, and Kelcie. He loved his family more than life itself and had great joy in their lives and accomplishments. Starr -- Evelyn E. Starr, a resident of Albuquerque for 28 years, died on September 27, 1998. Evelyn was born in Hebron, Nebraska and was the daughter of Hazel and Herbert Bruce. She is survived by her husband of 51 wonderful years, Bill; a daughter, Suzanne Burrough and husband, Charles of Redding, CA; and three grandchildren, Brynne and Bronwyn Burrough and granddaughter, Kathy Faasau and husband, Mati Faasau; also great-grandchildren, Charles and Robert Faasau, all in Redding, CA. Evelyn was a volunteer for Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. It is suggested, that in lieu of flowers, any contributions be made to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Unit, P.O. Box 26666. Sunderland -- Jean Sunderland, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died Sunday, September 27, 1998. Voller -- John Alvin Voller, 71, died from a sudden illness Saturday, September 26, 1998. Born in Prescott, AZ, John came to New Mexico to attend a Naval ROTC program through UNM in 1944. He is survived by his loving wife, Irma J. Voller; mother, Helen Shupp Voller; sister, June Hastings; son, John H. Voller and wife, Jeanine; daughter, Marie Voller Alderete and husband, Thomas; stepson, Edward Davidson and wife, Gloria; and seven grandchildren, Lisa, Denise, and Christopher Voller, Anthony Alderete, Helen, David and Maje Davidson. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In the early 1960s he began Alpha Engineering, Inc. He later sold the company and worked for Eidal International. He then formed Omega Corp., where he designed and built heat exchange systems primarily for the solar industry. In later years, he continued his engineering work with Alpha Southwest, Inc. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 1998, 10:00 a.m., at the Rio Grande Presbyterian Church, 600 Coors Blvd. NW.
