TRAMBLEY, FRANK C. Frank C. Trambley (Decky) was born on January 24, 1928, and returned home to his Heavenly Father on March 2, 2015. Decky was born to Frank Leon Trambley and Josephine Strong Trambley and had two sisters, twin Margaret (Gayle) and Jeannine. On November 9, 1953, he married the love of his life, Delicia Tafoya, married for 61 years and had six children. Decky was a very prominent businessman who bought his first property at the age of 12. He ranched, farmed and opened up his own business Decky's Meats in 1966. He loved spending time on the ranch, irrigating, baling hay, and spending time with his cattle. He was a Mora County Commissioner in the 1960's, a member of the Mora San Miguel Electric Co-op for 18 years, mayordomo of two acequias since the age of 18, a life-long Republican and Chairman of the County Republican Party in the 1950's and subsequently in the late 1960's. Decky was a life-long member of St. Gertrude's Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph; father, Frank Leon Trambley; his mother, Josephine Strong Trambley; grandson Michael Edward Meadows; father-in-law, Praxedes Tafoya; mother-in-law, Estefanita Tafoya; sister, Jeannine Martinez, brother-in-law, Ernest Martinez; twin sister, Margaret (Gayle) Lester, brother-in-law Chuck Lester; daughter-in-law, Diane (Rachel) Trambley; and his best friend Carlos Lovato, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Delicia Trambley; children: Rose Trambley; Praxedes L. Trambley, wife, Minerva; Frank Leon Trambley; Josephine Meadows, husband, Michael Meadows; Stephanie Trambley, husband, Dennis Trujillo; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Katie Martinez, husband Alfonso Martinez; little sister Josephine Vigil, husband, Benjamin Vigil; his brothers-in-law, Ernest Tafoya, Seferino Crollett, and Bonifacio Vigil; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. The Trambley family would like to thank the following caregivers that assisted: Florence Trujillo, Alice Vasquez, Virginia Trujillo, Fabby Vigil, and Shannon Maes; Esperanza, Joseph Abeyta, Antoinette Romo, and special friends, Dennis Romero, Gloria, Tom, Tom, Jr., and Daniel Gallegos. Funeral services for Mr. Trambley will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Mora, NM as follows: Family viewing will begin at 5:00pm on Friday, March 6 followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. Celebration of the funeral Mass by Father Paul Grala, SOLT is scheduled for 10:00am Saturday March 7th. Interment will follow the Mass at the Trambley Family Cemetery in Mora, NM. Serving as pallbearers will be Frank Fred Trambley, Praxedes Trambley, II, Michael Meadows, Dennis Trujillo, Ruben Trujillo, Matthew Trambley, Tom Gallegos, and Dennis Romero. IBARRA, ARTURO (ART) G. age 49, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 19, 2015. Arturo is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Roseanne; children, Isaac and Savanna Ibarra; his father Alberto Ibarra; siblings, Frank Ibarra, Albert Ibarra and Luz Elena Coleman; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arturo was preceded in death by his mother, Socorro Lujan. Arturo was a Valley High School graduate where he excelled in soccer and took the 1985 State Wrestling Championship. He was a man of strength, integrity and honor. He never missed an opportunity to instill these morals as well as the importance of hard work to his two children. Art had a love of life and lived life to its fullest. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, baseball player and his latest passion was golf. Please join us in sharing memories and celebrating his life. CARLEY, HELEN S. Our beloved mother Helen S. Carley has passed away to be with the Lord. Helen was born November 14, 1916 and passed away January 31, 2015. She is survived by her son Rick Carley and wife Jane; daughter Jane Diaz; brother Jake Salazar and wife Betty; sister Emily Lujan. She has ten grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Henry Carley, her daughter Linda Lopez, granddaughter Beverly Diaz, brother Andres Salazar, brother Fidel Salazar, sister Lucy Puckett, sister Mary Marez. She was a loving and wonderful mother and grandmother. She retired from APS food service. She loved going to Barelas Senior Center where she had many friends and going to the casino. Thanks to the Garland House for the great care she received. Pallbearers will be Rick Carley Jr., Ricky Carley, Georg Monroe, David Ortiz, Jason Burns and JP Parra. MARCILLA, FRANK J. Frank J. Marcilla, age 76, died on Thursday, December 25, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Alice Marcilla; his children, Tina Kenyherz and Lisa Marcilla-Abeyta and her husband, Dr. William Abeyta; grandchildren, Alexandra Kenyherz and Samantha Kenyherz; sister, Deanna Perez, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maximo and Mary Marcilla; and his siblings, Maximo Marcilla Jr., Gilbert Marcilla, Albina D'Antonio, and Arthur Marcilla. Frank was a long-time resident of Albuquerque, where he lived after graduating from Vaughn High School in 1957. Frank constructed many homes in Albuquerque and helped his father build the Skyline Motel in Vaughn. He later became a butcher and entrepreneur, owning his own meat market. He married Alice Vicente on August 26, 1967 and has two daughters. Frank was a devoted husband, father and businessman who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to cook, entertain, and share humorous stories with his guests. Above all, he was a guardian and protector of his family. He will be missed by many. Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 at 4 p.m. at FRENCH - University.
