ARCHULETA -- Sarah Archuleta died on Saturday, March 22, 2008 in a local hospital with her loving family beside her. Sarah was born to Faustino Jaramillo and Elvira Gonzales on July 17, 1922 in Mountainair, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Santiago Archuleta and her oldest son, Maj. Benny J. Archuleta of De Soto, TX. Survivors include her special son, Manuel Archuleta who has spend the last 10 years taking care of Mama; sons, David Archuleta and wife Becky, Mark Archuleta and partner Pam and Michael Archuleta; daughters, Ruth Isaacs, Linda Herrera and husband, Manuel, Dorothy Wright and husband, Glenn. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; numerous other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW. A rosary will be recited by Phil and Mary Jaramillo on Wednesday evening, March 26, 2008 at 7:00 pm, with the Visitation beginning at 6:30pm. A eulogy will be presented by Robert Wright and Arthur Chavez. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 9:00am, with interment following at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery off of Coors and Arenal SW. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Benny Archuleta, Jimmie Archuleta, Michael Archuleta Jr., Ron Herrera, Jack (Jay) Isaacs and Glenn Wright. BACA -- Joseph Orlando, age 54, went home to be with Our Lord on Good Friday, March 21, 2008. He was born on December 28, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Orlando Baca. Joseph was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who courageously fought a debilitating illness for over 24 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Christy; his sons Daniel and David Richard; his mother Flora A. Baca; his sisters, Celine Radigan and husband, Mike; Cecila Martinez and husband, Jerry; his brother, Paul G.A. Baca of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his nieces and nephews, Leslie and Alex Hindi, Michael Radigan; Jeremy Martinez, Alyssa Martinez; great nieces, Gabriella and Ellianna Hindi; His mother in law, Evelyn Wersonick; Goddaughter, Heather Davis; and his best friends Arthur Schreiber, Mike Wersonick, and Felix Montoya. He was a graduate of Del Norte High School, and attended University of Albuquerque. During his career as a locksmith he was recognized as the youngest certified locksmith in the USA. and he also served as an instructor in the trade. He was affiliated with KOB radio and Magic 99 FM. Pallbearers will be; Michael Radigan, Jeremy Martinez, Alex Hindi, Mike Wersonick, Felix Montoya, and Randy Repichowski. May God bless you, Jo Jo. BURNS -- Arline A. Burns, 84, a resident of Wiley, Texas, and formerly of Rio Rancho and Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008. Arline was born July 6, 1923 the daughter of Raymond and Mary E. Yoder Edmonston in Minco, Oklahoma. She worked in sales at Sears Roebuck and Norris Realty. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rio Rancho and Clovis, NM, and Celebration Baptist Church in Rio Rancho. Arline and Ray loved traveling in their motor home and made a pilgrimage to Israel to walk where Jesus walked. She loved the Lord, life, and her family. She's at peace now in the presence of the Lord. Arline was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Burns in 1995 and her brother, Marvin Edmonston. She is survived by two children, Richard A. Kilmer and Joan Morris of Wiley, TX; two step-children, Ruth McLoy and husband Dick, and Vern Burns and wife Debbie; three sisters, Beulah Moses, Euna R. Roach and Eunice F. Roach, and their husbands, Roy and Lee Roach. CHRONIS -- Harold Chronis was called to his heavenly home on March 23, 2008. Harold was born January 18, 1921 at Arpin, Wisconsin. He received his education at Arpin and attended St. Andrews College at Berrien Springs, Michigan until the entry of the United States into World War II. On April 14, 1943 Harold married Iris Rasmussen. During the war, Harold served as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army, 1st Infantry Division in the European Theater of Operations. He was Honorably Discharged October 29, 1945 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Harold worked as a Production Manager at Chrysler Marine Corporation in Hartford, Wisconsin for thirty-one years before his retirement in 1984. In 1989, Harold and his wife Iris moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico. At the time of his death, Harold was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Rio Rancho and held the office of Financial Secretary for six years, and American Legion Post 118 in Rio Rancho. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Clifford, Marvin (Bud), and Walter. He is further survived by his wife Iris of Rio Rancho and twin sons James (Sharon) of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Charles of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Harold was cremated. ELLSWORTH -- Charlotte Ellsworth, age 93 of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at a local care facility, Miss Ellsworth was a retired employee of the Veterans Administration and a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her niece, Nancy Norem of Albuquerque, as well as other nieces and nephews. No local services will be held. Interment will take place in Montana. FIGUEROA -- Pablo. On March 21, 2008, Pablo Figueroa, 73, of San Antonito went home to be with Our Lord. he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria Edwinda; his children, Paul (Leah), Yvonne Williams (Roary), Mary, Luana, Roberta Chavez (Ted), and Marty. He has 17 Grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Felipe Rafael; and his granddaughter, Angel Lynn Sanchez. Rosary will be held Thursday, March 27, 2008, in San Antonio at 7:00 p.m., and the Mass Service will be on Friday, March 28, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.

FROST -- Elizabeth Lee Frost, 83, died on Monday, March 17, 2008 of cancer. Born in Bayfield, CO to Austin P. Frost and Mary Ann McCain Frost, she was the 3rd of seven children. She spent part of her childhood in Dulce, NM where her father worked for the Indian service. She attended high school in Durango, CO prior to graduating from Albuquerque High School in 1942. She retired from Sandia National Laboratory in 1992 with more than 41 yrs of service. Elizabeth and her sister Margaret were the original crew members of the Galles Balloon Team and were the biggest fans of the Balloon Fiesta. Elizabeth was an avid genealogist and was the past President of The Albuquerque Genealogical Society. She survived cancer surgery twice in the last 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Austin Frost and Phillip Frost and sister Margaret Del Valle. She is survived by her sister, Mary Kathryn Craig of Durango, CO; brothers, Gerald Frost and Lloyd Frost of Albuquerque and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. GARCIA -- Josephine Garcia, 84, a resident of Albuquerque passed away March 25, 2008. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her loving husband of sixty two years, Joe T. Garcia; her five children, Patsy Sanchez, Marcella Garcia, Roberta Aguilar and husband, Manuel, Jerry Garcia, Lisa Garcia-Casaus and husband, Herman; her sister, Julia Coronado; sixteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernadette Garcia; son, Joey Garcia; daughter, Loretta Garcia. She was a member of the Catholic Church and a member the Catholic Daughters of America. Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2008 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Final Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by a Franciscan Friar. GONZALES -- John H. February 6, 1946 - March 18, 2008. John H. Gonzalez, 62, of Meridianville, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Gonzalez, of Meridianville; three sons, John A. Gonzalez of New Mexico, Justin Gonzalez of New Mexico, Marco Gonzalez of Meridianville; mother, Modesta Gamino of Illinois; two grandchildren, John A. and Julia Gonzalez of New Mexico; brother, Al Gamino, of Florida; two sisters, Elizabeth Barco and Delores Gonzalez, of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at noon Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at the chapel annex on Redstone Arsenal building #3714 with Father Rajmunb Kopec officiating. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

GRAVLIN -- James C. Gravlin, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008. He was born December 25, 1924 in Sycamore, Illinois. James was an Albuquerque resident since 1947. He was a graduate of UNM, class of 1950. James was a veteran of WWII, having served two years in the ETO with the Army Engineers. He was also an Eagle Scout. James retired from Sandia National Labs in 1984 after serving in various staff and supervisory positions for 35 years. He was a life member of Sycamore Lodge #134, AF & AM, and a member of American Legion Post #99, Sycamore, IL. He was a past President of the Albuquerque Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, and was an active member of the Albuquerque Bicentennial Commission through the years 1973- 1976. He was active at St Marks on the Mesa Episcopal Church, having served three terms on the Vestry. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley H. Gravlin; two sons, Marc Clemens and wife, Yvonne, of Saguache County, Colorado; Thomas Levoy of Los Alamos, NM; grandchildren, Jennifer and Damon; and two great-grandchildren, Marcus and Hailey. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. A private Family Service is planned for Saturday, March 29, 2008 at St. Marks on the Mesa Episcopal Church. Cremains will be placed in Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to St. Marks on the Mesa Episcopal Church, Albuquerque, NM or the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch.
