Josephine Garcia, 84, a resident of Albuquerque passed away March 25, 2008. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her loving husband of sixty two years, Joe T. Garcia; her five children, Patsy Sanchez, Marcella Garcia, Roberta Aguilar and husband, Manuel, Jerry Garcia, Lisa Garcia-Casaus and husband, Herman; her sister, Julia Coronado; sixteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernadette Garcia; son, Joey Garcia; daughter, Loretta Garcia. She was a member of the Catholic Church and a member the Catholic Daughters of America. Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2008 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Final Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by a Franciscan Friar. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Garcia, Mike McCorkell, Augie Mendez, J. R. Casaus, Alfred Gurule, and David Garcia.
