CENTENO -- JOSIE S. Mrs. Josie (Fita) S. Centeno, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 27, 2007. Mrs. Centeno is survived by her children, Carmen Bennett and husband, Jim, Rita Campbell and companion, Jose Gallegos, Barbara Bralley and husband, Guy, Carolyn Aranda and husband, Arthur, Steve Centeno and wife, Juliet; her sister, Adela Armijo; her brother, Jim Saiz and wife, Lucy; her sister-in-law, Lorraine Saiz; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many other sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Centeno was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Centeno; her brother, Sam Saiz; and her parents, Damacio and Cipriana Saiz. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday at the Church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Gene Greis. Committal Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Centeno, Mike Campbell, Jim Saiz, Nick Vaquera, Matthew Bralley, and Rick Armijo. CHAVEZ -- VIVIAN Mr. Vivian Chavez, age 74, passed away at the VA Medical Center on Saturday, December 29, 2007. He was born in Valencia, NM, served in the U.S. Army and worked as a cement finisher. Vivian is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gloria Chavez; children, Joe Chavez and wife, Ginger, Frankie Chavez and wife, Evelyn, Ricky Chavez, Louie Chavez, Judy Anaya and husband, Chris Moya, Tommy Chavez and wife, Renee, Lawrence Chavez and Jacqueline, Matthew Chavez and Claudet; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lumina Salazar and husband Joe; brother-in-law, Manuel Moya; several loving nieces and nephews; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 550 Atrisco Dr. SW, on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. A Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. CORDOVA -- Toney J. Cordova, age 78, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, entered into Eternal Life, Sunday, December 30, 2007, while surrounded by his loving family. Toney was born in Mesita, CO, and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Toney graduated from Menaul High School; he served in the United States Air Force; and worked at Kirtland Air Force Base for many years. He was quite proud of receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, he always told people it took him 20 years to get but, he did it. Toney received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Albuquerque; and became a Loan Officer for the Small Business Administration. He was preceded in death by his parents Salamon and Lucita Cordova; and more recently by a son, Rocky Cordova. Toney is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marinita (Mina) Cordova; three sons, Anthony, Bobby, Leonard Cordova and his wife, Carmen; his precious grandchildren, Anthony, Leonard, Joseph, Jennifer, Cindy, Amanda, and Anna; his great-grandchildren, Mariah, Daniel and Kayla. Also surviving are six sisters, Juanita, Rayna, Josie, Connie, Liz, and Hope; one brother, Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. Toney will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Visitations will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church. DALTON -- JOHN EDWARD Services for John Edward Dalton will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ with Pastor Michael Bingham officiating. John is survived by his wife of the family home; six sons: Sean Dalton of Denver City, TX, Christopher John Dalton of Carlsbad, Mathew Dalton of Odessa, TX, Dustin Rucker and Jeremy Rucker, both of Carlsbad, and John Ray Miller of Odessa, TX; daughters: Reagan Dalton and Jessica Rucker, both of Carlsbad; Mom of Albuquerque, NM; brothers: Steve Scott, Barry Dalton and Larry Peters, all of Albuquerque; and sisters; Tracye Dalton and Jamie Dalton, both of Albuquerque and nephew, Colt Dalton.

EYER -- Philip Eldon Eyer, age 91, of Albuquerque went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Juanita Peacock Eyer; nephews Harold Eyer, Eddie Eyer, Mike Eyer, Jeffrey Peacock, Ronald Taylor, Robert Peacock, Douglas Cantrell, and Donald Cantrell; and nieces, Marcie Weiler, Victoria Coffey, Pamela Brosius, Juanita Wolf, Carolyn Baxter, and Ann Jenness. Philip served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp, entering in 1934 and retiring as a major in 1957. He served in the European theater in World War II where he was on Gen. Eisenhower's staff and in Korea during the Korean Conflict where he was on Gen. MacArthur's staff and in charge of communications for the Panmunjom Armistice talks. After retiring from the military, he worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a programmer in the Nuclear Safeguards program retiring in 1986. He was an avid fisherman and hunter when he had time and also did woodworking and was an accomplished photographer. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary. GREENHOW -- Robert Harrison Greenhow was born on September 19, 1920 and passed away on December 25, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Pauline; daughters, Karen Dunn, Roberta France and husband, Dennis, Evelyn, Elizabeth Bell, Verla Pacheco and husband, Silas, and Patricia Huddle and husband, Dick; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. HANRAHAN -- Judith E. Hanrahan, age 70, of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born March 12, 1937 in Raleigh, NC to Charles and Doryce Eastep. She married William F. Hanrahan on February 27, 1960 in South Carolina. Mrs. Hanrahan was a registered Nurse for over 40 years. She was a member of Encore, and was a Water Aerobics enthusiast at Del Norte Gym. She enjoyed being outside and especially walking around the perimeter of the Academy grounds as well as watching movies, reading and the fine arts such as ballet and classical music. Mrs. Hanrahan is survived by her husband of 47 years, William of Albuquerque; her daughters, Theresa L. Schuster and husband, Bill of Herndon, VA, and Margaret R. Mocniak and her husband, Lawrence of Annapolis, MD; grandchildren, Sarah Schuster, Melanie and Samantha Mocniak; sisters, Linda Harrison and her husband, Dalton of Cary, NC, and Sharon Forrest and her husband, Louis of Chocowinity, NC. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services or visitation will be held at this time.
