MARTINEZ -- Rumaldo "Marty" Martinez passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 in Albuquerque at the age of 75. Mr. Martinez was born December 14, 1932 in Val Verde, NM and was raised in San Antonio, NM. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1950 until 1974 and retired as a TSGT. The youngest of five children, he entered the service and supported his mother and father with his service pay. Mr. Martinez stayed single and independent all his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Encarnacion and Pedro Martinez; sisters, Louisa Montoya and husband, Mauricio, and Miquelita Martinez; two brothers, Perfecto and Juan Martinez; brother-in-law, Willie Coca; Goddaughter and niece, Virginia Montoya; and a nephew, Richard Martinez. He is survived by his sister, Andrea Coca; sister-in-laws, Isabel Martinez and Rita Martinez; nephews, Raymond Montoya and wife, Diane, Ralph Martinez and wife, Lillian, and John Martinez; nieces, Sandra Vigil and husband, Dominic, and Dolores Rincon and husband, Don; grandnieces, Ramona Montoya and fiance, Erich Beck, Monica Vanderwoude and husband, Mike, Jessica Vaughn and husband, Redell, and Maria Martinez; grandnephews, Daniel Martinez and wife, Paula and Samuel Martinez and wife, Kelly. He will be greatly missed by his family. A Rosary for Mr. Martinez will be recited on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Holy Ghost Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Chavez, Daniel Martinez, Samuel Martinez, John Martinez, Ralph Martinez and Ramona Montoya. MEDINA -- Jackie Medina, 59, passes away on Easter, March 23, 2008. He is survived by his mother, Mary Medina; sister, Judy Medina and husband; brother, Bobby Medina and wife; and many nieces and nephews. We miss you dearly and know that you're with us all the time. We know you are at peace now. The Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 27, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home. 225 San Mateo NE. MILLER -- Brett Alan Miller was born January 21, 1968, in Dumas, Texas. He graduated from Dumas High School in 1985. Brett attended Connor State College in Oklahoma and Texas Tech, where he played baseball. Currently, Brett resided in Albuquerque, NM. On March 21, 2008, he joined his Heavenly Father and loved ones who preceded him, which include his mother, Judith Miller-Bustamante; his brothers, Brady and Brandon; and his grandparents, JD and Lorene Carter. Brett is survived by, and will be dearly missed and so loved by all his many friends and relatives, including his wife, Clarie; the light of his life; his children, Tanner (Peanut), Kyleigh (Tater-Tot), Ty (Pudge), and Shelby (Scooter); his birth father, Eddie Joe Davis; and his father, James Miller. A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. in Ventana Ranch at the crossroads of Weymouth and Ventana Ranch Road. MOSER -- Alice J. Moser, 78, went home to be with her Lord during a beautiful Easter sunrise, Sunday, March 23, 2008. She was at home with many family members present. Alice is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Moser; children, Mary Perkins and husband, Howard, of Tijeras, NM, Ruth Bidewell and husband, David, of Rio Rancho, NM, Karl Moser and wife, Jan, of Albuquerque, NM, Amy Lassiter and husband, Shane, of Abilene, TX, and Peggy Sanchez and husband, Lou, of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; niece, Laura Galbraith, of Albuquerque; and numerous other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her sons, Carey Moser and Nathan Moser; and her parents, William and Alice Christen. Alice was born on June 10, 1929, in Pueblo, Colorado. After her marriage to Bob Moser on July 7, 1948, they moved to Albuquerque in 1951 where they lovingly raised seven children. She and Bob operated Moser Studio from 1976 to 1984, where they made many friends. Alice then went to work for French Mortuary where she retired. Alice was a long-time member of Hoffmantown Church. She was very devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, and many friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio Dr. NE on Friday, March 28, 2008, 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be her four grandsons, Lane Perkins, Justin Sanchez, Ryan Hallmark, and Jonathan Norton, also Aaron Markland, and Steve Norton. MULLER -- Gustavo Muller, 80, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on March 21, 2008. Mr. Muller was born on December 8, 1927, to Frank and Carmelita (Quintana) Muller of Gallegos, NM. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force and was a member of the Teamsters Local 492. Mr. Muller is preceded in death by his wife, Tillie (Gonzales) Muller; four brothers; and three sisters. He is survived by his son, David R. Muller and his wife, Lucy; a daughter, Bertha Saiz; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Abie Muller and Orlando Muller. A Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services 1100 Coal Ave SE. NUANEZ -- Reina B. Nuanez, 77, went to the Lord on Saturday, March 22, 2008. PRICE -- Irvin Lee Price, 50, of Albuquerque, went Home on Monday, March 24, 2008. He was born December 4, 1957 in El Paso, TX. He was the best father and husband that God could have given to his family. He was self sacrificing and always thought of others first. Irvin Lee and his four brothers were raised by their grandmother, Lillian Hyvari in Carlsbad, NM. He married the former Elaine Loman on September 29, 1979 in Carlsbad. Irvin Lee was preceded in death by his mother and grandmother. He is survived by his wife of over 28 years; 2 sons, Jonathan and Derek both of the home; 4 brothers, Cloyd and his wife Debby, of Edgewood, Dennis and his wife Venita of Odessa, TX, Andy and Cherie of Midland, TX, and Gary, of Odessa, TX; and several nieces and nephews. RHODEN -- Kenneth Doyle Rhoden, 86, of Albuquerque peacefully passed away Saturday March 22, 2008, at The Veterans' Home in Truth or Consequences. Mr. Rhoden was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on April 24, 1921, to the late Guy George and Zela Rhoden. He grew up in the Estancia Valley and was a proud member of the U.S. Army during World War II. Before retirement, he was a longtime employee of General Tire and Creamland Dairies. He was an active member of the Democratic Party and also served as Justice of the Peace during the 1960's. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping. He will be remembered for his gentle nature and kind words for everyone he met. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Guy Hershel, and a sister, William David (Billie); and his wife, Ernestine Johnson, in 2001. He is survived by his three children, Maxine Roach and husband, Jim, of Los Lunas, Jody Blanks and husband, Gary, of King, North Carolina and Pamela Gail Burke and husband, Bruce, of Albuquerque; a sister, Betty Lou Sever; six grandchildren, Denita Richards, Janell Thomas and husband, Melvin, Traci Haynes, Kenneth Blanks and wife, Renea, Eric Blanks and wife, Amie, and Billy Rhoden; 11 great-grandchildren, Clayton Richards, Jimmy, Jared and Faith Thomas, Colton and Lane Haynes, Ethan and Zachary Blanks, and Emma, Abigail and Isabella Blanks. Services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at Sandia Church of the Nazarene, 8216 Central SE. Burial will be held Monday, March 31, 2008, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
