GRAHAM -- Howard Bruce Graham, 54, of Estancia, NM went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2007. He served valiantly in the United States Army in Vietnam. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie; his daughter, Rebecca, and husband, Leedro Romero; his son, Daniel Graham; his father, Howard Graham; his mother, Margaret Martz; brothers, Larry Bryant, Lee Ballentine, Ron Graham, Bill Rencehousen; sisters, Lynda Smith and Lori R. Garcia; five grandchildren; and his beloved best friends, (his dogs), Shorty and Bonita. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Church in Estancia, MN. JENKINS -- Suetta J. Jenkins passed away November 24, 2007 while on a trip to Laughlin, NV. She is survived by her spouse of 51 years, Robert Jenkins Sr.; son, Robert Jenkins Jr.; daughters, Deborah Dilmore and husband, Mark, Leslie Dodrill and husband, Mike; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. There is no memorial service. Donations to Arthritis Foundation would be appreciated in her name.

KEEPORTS -- Floyd M. Keeports, 80, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007. He is survived by his daughters, Carol E. Baird and Jane A. Keeports, both of Albuquerque. Floyd is also survived by five grandchildren, Matthew A. Saavedra and wife, Jessica of Bellevue, WA, Brent N. Baird of Justin, TX, Patrick N. Baird of Austin, TX, Rebecca J. Baird of Ft. Worth, TX, and Kristina E. Tartaglia and husband, Louis of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, Dr. Dave Mitchell and wife, Geneva; sister-in-law, Evelyn Mitchell, and their families all of New Mexico; and several cousins of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Dorie; and his infant son, Floyd Martin Keeports Jr. Floyd was born in Red Lion, PA to Clyde and Elsie Keeports where he was a graduate of Red Lion High School and then went on to graduate from the New York Institute of Photography and later attended the University of New Mexico. Floyd served his country during WWII in the US Army on the Manhattan Project and was part of the last contingent of military personnel to leave Los Alamos in 1947. He was then assigned to the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project at Sandia Base where he met his wife Dorie. Later he joined the US Atomic Energy Commission in 1948 and participated in the opening of the first civilian badge office also at Sandia Base. Floyd retired from the US Department of Energy after 35 years of federal service. He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church since 1950, and also a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Floyd enjoyed many years of fishing and camping with his children and grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Heights Christian Church, 6935 Comanche NE, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. LENERT -- Ellen M. Lenert, a resident of Albuquerque for over 50 years, died Tuesday morning, December 11, 2007. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gilbert B. Lenert; niece, Nancy Jaeger and husband, Steve, and brother-in-law, Henry Streuly, all of Milwaukee, WI; and countless friends and fellow musicians all over the country. Mrs. Lenert was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Arndt and her parents, Mable and Paul Arndt. Ellen was born February 13, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI. She moved to New Mexico and married her husband, Gilbert at Bishop's Lodge in Santa Fe on January 7, 1954. She was a prize winning painter and an accomplished musician, especially with her favorite instrument - the clarinet. She played in symphonies all over New Mexico and Wisconsin and her art was often on display at the New Mexico State Fair. Throughout her life in Albuquerque Ellen was quick to give to others and volunteered in many local helping organizations. During the many years of her slow decline, Gilbert was constantly by her side. Gil and Ellen are a classic story of love and devotion. The family wishes to thank House Calls of New Mexico, Ambercare Hospice, and all the dear friends who helped ease Ellen's last days. Services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2007, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee, WI. LOPEZ -- Anthony W. Lopez June 29, 1985 - December 8, 2007 Anthony W. Lopez, 22, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2007. He was born in Taos, NM, on June 29, 1985, to Sammy M. and Kathy L. Lopez. Anthony attended grade school in Ruidoso and Carlsbad, NM. He attended high school in Carlsbad. He was a member of the CHS Band. Anthony graduated from Youth Challenge Academy in Roswell, NM, in 2002, where he was awarded platoon leader of the 1st Platoon. He held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He participated in Tae Kwon Do tournaments in Las Vegas, NV. He enjoyed music, riding ATVs, swimming, lifting weights, watching football and spending time with his children. He was certified as a wildland forest firefighter and in First Aid and CPR. Anthony also enjoyed spending time on the beach in San Diego. He was a certified nursing assistant and worked for a short time at Carlsbad Medical Center. He also worked in maintenance at The Daily Times in Farmington, NM. In 2003 he moved with his family to Las Cruces, where we worked in landscaping. He also attended Dona Ana Community College. His former girlfriend, Katherine Leyba, 23, and two children, Jeremiah Anthony Lopez, 5, and Jazmine Faith Lopez, 3, all of Carlsbad, survive Anthony. He also is survived by his parents, Sammy M. and Kathy L. Lopez; and his sister, Melinda Ann Lopez, 16, of Farmington; and by his grandparents, Victor and Antonia (Toni) Lopez of Jarales, N.M. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene (Blackie) and Jean Heth, also of Jarales. A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, 1010 Church St., Belen, NM, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2007, with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. A visitation also will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, followed at 9 a.m. by a Funeral Mass at Lady of Belen Catholic Church. LOTSPEICH -- Oren Albert Lotspeich, 55, husband, grandfather, brother, and son, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 9, 2007. He will always be remembered for his boisterous humor, unfailing kindness, mechanical abilities, musical appreciation, and a down-to-earth way with everyone he knew and met. MALIN -- Barbara Allen Malin, 62, went into the arms of her Lord peacefully in her home on December 11, 2007. She was born to Lawrence and Maude Kern on November 11, 1945 in Winchester, Virginia. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Gary F. Malin; her son, Michael Henderson; her daughter, Michelle Weyrick; three grandsons, Christopher Henderson, Kyle Weyrick and Sean Weyrick. She also leaves to grieve her three brothers, Dick Kern, Linwood Kern and Gary Kern; three sisters, Gene Gorman, Mary Lou Arnett and Betty Lou Quiggle. She moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1998 and was a faithful member of Calvary Santa Fe. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother, with a contagious zest for life. She was blessed with the gift of praying for and consoling others and was considered by many a prayer warrior. Barbara was a talented interior designer who had a gift for arranging flowers, as well as growing them. She loved spending time in her garden. The family would like to thank all of their relatives and friends for all of the kind expressions of sympathy and support extended to them. MANFREDI -- Frank D. Manfredi - 91, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and dear friend, peacefully left us Tuesday Evening, December 11, 2007. Papa was a lifetime resident of New Mexico. He was born to immigrant parents, Alberto Manfredi and Beatrice Persiconi on October 2, 1916, in Dawson, New Mexico. Papa is survived by his wife, best friend, and soul mate of 59 years, Edith G. Manfredi. He also leaves sons, William Manfredi and wife, Shirley, Carl Manfredi and wife, Patti; grandchildren, Daphne Saragusa and husband, Kari, William Manfredi, Jr., and wife, Carla, Jana Manfredi, Damon Manfredi and wife, Ansley, Frank L. Manfredi, and Lily Manfredi: great-grandchildren, Natalie and Benjamin Saragusa, and Meadow Manfredi; brother, Albert Becchetti and wife, Arzie; sister-in-law, Etala Manfredi; and many nieces, nephews, trusted friends and caregivers. Papa was preceded in death by brother, James Manfredi; and sisters, Mary Rigoni and husband, Emelio, and Carrie Corazzi and husband, Primo. Papa grew up in Raton, NM, and played guard on the 1936 Raton "Tigers" High School State Champion basketball team. He later coached at St. Patrick's High School, in Raton. He served in the Army, stationed in the Pacific, during WWII. After the war, Papa moved to Albuquerque, to attend the University of New Mexico. He worked for the University Food Stores department as a butcher while attending school, and after graduating with a business degree, became the UNM Food Purchasing Agent. During that time, he managed and worked the University's concession stands for all the basketball and football games. Because of his hard work ethic, outstanding loyalty and dedication to UNM, he was promoted to Purchasing Agent. He worked in that capacity until his retirement in 1981. He received a gold retirement watch. Papa met his neighbor, Edith Norman, and asked her to tutor him in his university studies. They became great friends, and a romance blossomed. They married July 24, 1948. Papa literally married the "girl next door" and was the epitome of the perfect husband. Papa loved his wife, family, fishing and playing golf. He was a University Golf Association President and proud owner of two hole-in-one trophies. Papa was a builder. He built editions on homes he lived in, as well as editions and barns for relatives. He played an integral part as Purchasing Agent in the growth and building of the University of New Mexico from 1950 to 1981. He built lasting friendships, which have withstood the test of time. Papa was a cook. While at the University, if there was a steak-fry for any sporting event, Papa was the cook. He personally purchased, prepared and cooked thousands of steaks. The UNM Tucker and McGuire Golf Tournaments were his favorites. He always enlisted family and friends to help him. Papa was a survivor. He survived congestive heart failure at age 73. He survived small cell lung cancer at age 89. We will miss Papa's steaks, his "can do" attitude, his smile, his friendship, his genuine goodness, his wisdom, and his love. Visitation, Commemoration, and Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, December 14, 2007, in the Palm Chapel, of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Avenue, SE. All are encouraged to come and share the goodness of his life. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2007, with Internment following at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale, Blvd. SE. ORTIZ -- Napoleon Ortiz, 78, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with God and loved ones on Monday, December 10, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Ortiz; children Edward Ortiz and wife, Ruth, Leroy Riggs, Yolanda Voyles and husband, Vern, Yvonne Riggs and partner, Ramona, Michael Riggs, Shirley Riggs Gonzales and husband, Floyd, Brenda Montoya and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Michaela Colendres, Amanda Ortiz, Tawni Voyles, and Aspen Montoya; two great-grandchildren; brother Sostenes Ortiz and wife, Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Mr. Ortiz was preceded in death by two brothers, Pedro Ortiz and Alfonso Ortiz and two sisters, Emelia Gonzales and Pedrita Garbarino. Napoleon was born on May 2, 1929 in Las Vegas, NM.
