Obituary for MALIN

Barbara Allen Malin, 62, went into the arms of her Lord peacefully in her home on December 11, 2007. She was born to Lawrence and Maude Kern on November 11, 1945 in Winchester, Virginia. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Gary F. Malin; her son, Michael Henderson; her daughter, Michelle Weyrick; three grandsons, Christopher Henderson, Kyle Weyrick and Sean Weyrick. She also leaves to grieve her three brothers, Dick Kern, Linwood Kern and Gary Kern; three sisters, Gene Gorman, Mary Lou Arnett and Betty Lou Quiggle. She moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1998 and was a faithful member of Calvary Santa Fe. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother, with a contagious zest for life. She was blessed with the gift of praying for and consoling others and was considered by many a prayer warrior. Barbara was a talented interior designer who had a gift for arranging flowers, as well as growing them. She loved spending time in her garden. The family would like to thank all of their relatives and friends for all of the kind expressions of sympathy and support extended to them. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 12:00noon.
