Berens -- Beryle Elizabeth Berens, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday June 10, 2003 at the Four Corners Health Care Center in Durango, Colorado due to complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She was 90 years old. Beryle is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Lehmann of Durango; three grandchildren, Greg Lehmann, Dede Glass and Jennifer Lehmann; and six great-grandchildren. Private family Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled through the Ertel Funeral Home in Cortez, CO.

Blatchford -- Alberta A. Blatchford, 82, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, August 13, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leslie Les Blatchford; sons, Larry Blatchford and Kenneth Blatchford and wife, Dolores, all of Albuquerque; daughter, Eileen Clarke of Lake Forest, CA; step-son, Ron Collier and wife, Lee of Puwallup, WA; six grandchildren, Michael Blatchford and wife, Staci of Albuquerque, Jay Blatchford of Hawthorne, CA, Nirvana Blatchford-Rodriguez and husband, Joe, Christy Blatchford, Levi Blatchford and Roger Blatchford, all of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Andrew Blatchford of Rifle, CO, Jacob Blatchford, Esprit Blatchford-Rodriquez, AmeAmor Blatchford-Rodriquez, Esperanza Blatchford-Sena and Jasmine Blatchford, all of Albuquerque; and brothers, Alcario Armenta, Gregorio Armenta and wife, Pauline and Joe Armenta and wife, Rose, all of Albuquerque. Alberta was a beautiful and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who gave of her time, industry and prayers. She was known for her kindness and generosity to all who knew her. Alberta bequeaths a legacy of love that resonates in our hearts. Her life was a pattern to guide us and an inspiration to us all. Bradshaw -- Kurt C. Bradshaw, 46, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 8, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bradshaw of Albuquerque; his three dogs, Kerra, Cowla and Stevie; father, Keith Bradshaw of Tijeras, NM; and brother, Keith Bradshaw of California. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Bradshaw. Kurt was employed by Signature Cycle in Albuquerque. Carrillo -- Ramon Carrillo born on November 19, 1919, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 13, 2003 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eppie; four daughters, Linda Lucero and husband, Leonard, Loretta Fresquez and husband, Victor, Consuelo Martinez and husband, Larry, Christina Carrillo-Padilla and husband, Leo, all of Albuquerque; two sisters, Mary Shoats and Olga Sandoval; brother, Tino Carrillo and wife, Cathy. Ramon is also survived by his grandchildren, Lisa Henneman, Gina Ripley, Ramon Martinez, Jacobo Martinez, Armando Fresquez, Luis Martinez and Adrianna Saiz; great grandchildren, Nicole Henneman, Danielle Ripley, Andrew Henneman, Kevin Henneman, Brandon Ripley and Mariana Martinez. Numerous nephews, nieces and friends also survive Ramon. He is preceded in death by a brother, Rolando Carrillo and a grandson, Martin Lucero. Ramon served in the Army during WWII. He was a contractor who worked in the Albuquerque and surrounding areas. Ramon enjoyed playing golf, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends. Memorial Rosary will be recited on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Dr. NW by Gene and Josie Lovato from the Legion of Mary. Memorial mass will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Father Frank Prieto, Celebrant. Digrazia -- Sharon E. DiGrazia, 57, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed from us on August 10, 2003 in Reno, Nevada after sustaining injuries due to a car accident. She was born in Colorado and was the daughter of Wallace and Dorothy Fluckey of Elephant Butte, New Mexico. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Jennifer DiGrazia of Northampton, Massachusetts, and Sara DiGrazia who is teaching in Izmir, Turkey. She is also survived by her parents; her brothers, Bruce and wife, Mary and Forrest and wife, Grace; nephews, Adam, Matthew and Nicholas. Those who knew her were aware that Sharon had a great love of all animals and was devoted to Nursing. Foreman -- Ronald"Ronnie" Foreman, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, died Saturday, August 9, 2003. He is survived by his sons, Dr. Robert Foreman and wife, Elaine of Albuquerque and Dennis Foreman and wife, Kara of Richland, WA; and seven grandchildren. Mr. Foreman was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Foreman; and brothers, Earl and Everett Foreman. Mr. Foreman worked as a Design and Aeronautical Engineer for Aerco Research Corporation and the Hanford Nuclear Facility. During World War II, Mr. Foreman was a Propeller Engineer in the Carribean for the military. His design of the Aerocoup plane hangs in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Rey Vejil officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Frazier -- Jason A. Frazier, 41, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away August 12, 2003. He is survived by his mother, Sarah E. Frazier of Albuquerque; sisters, Julia C. Nieman of Tijeras and Eva R. Phillips and husband, David of Chesapeake, VA; brother, James D. Frazier and wife, Sheryl of Rapid City, SD; nieces, Tammi and Sarah; and nephews, Shane, Dustin, Karl, Derek, and David. Jason enjoyed the outdoor life and spending as much time as he could in the mountains. His family and friends will dearly miss him. Lager -- Irene Lager, 83, a resident of Rio Rancho for 37 years, died Sunday, August 10, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George R. Lager of Rio Rancho; son, Robert J. Lager and wife, Terri of Abilene, TX; and granddaughter, E. Grace Lager and husband, R. Michael Pierro of Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Lager enjoyed painting and one of her specialties was oil painting. Lucero -- Arthuro Lucero, age 77, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, August 13, 2003. He was born on May 3, 1926 in Sepallo, NM. Arthur was one of four brothers of Feliberto Lucero and Julia A. Segura. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Gallegos Lucero; and daughter, Patricia Lucero. He is survived by his children, Fred A. Lucero and Catherine Lucero of Albuquerque, Theresa Lucente of Oakton, VA; grandchildren, Michael and Nichole Lucero, Aaron Jorgenson of Albuquerque, Steven and Alicia Booth of Los Lunas, and Patricia Lucente of Fairmont, WV; son in-law, Bruce Jorgenson of Albuquerque; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to being a loving father and grandfather, Arthur retired from Kirtland Air Force Base. He also enjoyed employment at Kenny and Paris Shoe Stores. He was a WWII disabled Veteran. Arthur was a long time member and usher at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Mckeough -- Donald (Don) McKeough, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, August 11, 2003, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center of natural causes. Don was born to Duncan and Mary McKeough of Portland, ME on April 12, 1916, one of five children. He is survived by his eight children, Donna, Michael, Patrick, Timothy, Sean, Kevin, Kathleen, and Maureen; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, James; and sister, Peg. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Rita (Tiny) McKeough on January 24, 1998. Don was a combat veteran with 20 years of active military service and 30 years of civil service. He was a loving husband and father. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 16, 2003, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. Mendoza -- Frank T. Mendoza, 72, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2003. He was born December 7, 1931 in Pinos Altos, NM. He was the son of Frank and Ramona Mendoza of Silver City, NM. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, a Purple Heart Recipient. He is survived by his son, Frank M. Mendoza III and wife, Becky. He is also survived by two daughters, Debbie Lerma and husband, Leonard; Kimberly Padilla and husband, Ralph; and a fiance, Cathy Sandoval. Mr. Mendoza had nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Michael and Marie; and two step-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Edward and Alfredo; two sisters, Mary and Felicita. He was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Mendoza; and their daughter, Yvonne Varela; and his second wife, Theresa Mendoza. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Ghost Church with Burial Services taking place Monday, August 18, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Reynolds -- Helen G. Reynolds, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died Tuesday, August 12, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Colista Reynolds; and her granddaughter, Amber C. Lyon, both of Albuquerque. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, George A. Reynolds. Helen and George enjoyed traveling the world during his career in the military. Helen had the wonderful ability to make a charming home for her family where ever they were assigned. She was an avid golfer and served terms as president of both the Ladies Golf Association at Kirtland AFB, and the Ladies Golf Association at Four Hills. She was a Parliamentarian and shared her knowledge with such groups as The Albuquerque Bead Society, the Retired Officers Association, the Republican Women's Association, and the Veteran's Memorial staff. Helen served 15 years for the Girl Scouts of America, from organizing a Brownie troop at Ft. Richardson, Alaska, to recruiting adult staff members in Media, PA. She was also a tennis player and taught her granddaughter to play starting at age 3. Helen loved to read and she participated in all ten years of the Great Books program and belonged to a local reading club. She designed and sewed many beautiful evening gowns, hats and costumes. She played bridge for many years and maintained contact with her sorority, Chi Omega. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and all whose lives she touched. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Four Hills Country Club, 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2003. Risch -- Sylvia H. Risch, age 74, died July 21, 2003 in Ft. Collins, Colorado. She will be buried along side her husband in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Sanchez -- Cecelia M. Sanchez, 89, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, August 13, 2003. She is survived by her children, Anthony M. Sanchez and wife, Pamela, Mary Helen Pena, Peggy Garcia and husband, Johnny and Almita Pacheco and husband, Rudy, all of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members. Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Nestor; son, Gilbert; and three grandchildren. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Slater -- Arthur R. Slater, 80, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2003. He is survived by his sons: Walter, Charles and wife, Pat; grandsons, Andrew, Michael and wife, Leslie, Chris and wife, Carrie; granddaughters, Connie and husband, Norm; great grandchildren, Jessierae, Melissa, Aaron and Cody; sisters, Edna, Lorraine, Myrtle and Joan. He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Slater of 58 years. Mr. Slater was born in Kearny, New Jersey on January 17, 1923. He served as a paratrooper in WWII. He then moved to Santa Fe, NM where he met his wife and worked as manager for B.F. Goodrich. He began a political career for the state of New Mexico as head of Census. He also served as land appraiser for the Bernalillo County Assessors Office for 30 years. Mr. Slater worked closely with the Veterans Administration and Casa Angelica helping needy children. He was a member of American Legion, port 13. He was also an active member of Queen of Heaven and Risen Savior Catholic Community. Mr. Slater was a truly great and remarkable man. His loss will be mourned by many. His family will miss his wisdom, compassion, and unique ability to touch lives. A Rosary will be held Friday at 7:00 p.m., French Mortuary Wyoming Chapel. Tanner -- Sharon Nellene Mack Tanner, 53, a resident of Edgewood, NM, formally of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born December 6, 1949, in Houston, TX, to Warren August Mack Sr., and Parl Venia Howard. She married Robert"Bob" John Tanner on June 15, 1974 in Sacramento, CA, together they had a Home Pet care service, and she was the part time assistant manager of the Self Storage Units in Albuquerque, NM. Sharon was an active member of Jehovah's Witnesses, Moriarty Congregation. She was survived by her loving husband, Robert"Bob" John Tanner; and one brother, Warren August Mack Jr., and his wife, Shirley of Lubbock, TX. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at Moriarty Civic Center with James Tolliver officiating. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the"Worldwide Work".

Vigil -- Angelica Saavedra Vigil was called to the Lord on August 13, 2003. Angie was born on September 14, 1918 in San Pedro, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nestor and Isabel Saavedra; and brothers, Juan, Julian and Manuel. Angie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lorenzo; daughter, Natti Gonzales and husband, Connie; grandchildren, Joseph, Jimmy, Felicia and James; great-grandchildren, Devon and Joshua. Angie was a courageous, patient and loving person who loved her family and her God. Wilkinson -- Annie M. Wilkinson, 92, a longtime resident of Albuquerque passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2003. Annie was born March 7, 1911 the daughter of Hugh Elgin and and May Lites Taylor in Sheridan, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leroy Wilkinson. Annie is survived by her daughters, Jeanetta Bereiter and husband, Dale of San Diego, CA, Barbara Stevens and husband, Roger of Rio Rancho, Loretta Richins and husband, Gary of Albuquerque and Kathy Wharton and husband, both of Albuquerque; son, John Wilkinson and wife, Judy of Clovis; two sisters, Winnie Huddle and family of Texarkana, TX, and Georgia Moseley and family of Mineral Point, WI; brother, Uel Taylor of Phoenixville, PA; also 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
