Mendoza -- Frank T. Mendoza, 72, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2003. He was born December 7, 1931 in Pinos Altos, NM. He was the son of Frank and Ramona Mendoza of Silver City, NM. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, a Purple Heart Recipient. He is survived by his son, Frank M. Mendoza III and wife, Becky. He is also survived by two daughters, Debbie Lerma and husband, Leonard; Kimberly Padilla and husband, Ralph; and a fiance, Cathy Sandoval. Mr. Mendoza had nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Michael and Marie; and two step-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Edward and Alfredo; two sisters, Mary and Felicita. He was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Mendoza; and their daughter, Yvonne Varela; and his second wife, Theresa Mendoza. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Ghost Church with Burial Services taking place Monday, August 18, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
