Sanchez -- Cecelia M. Sanchez, 89, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, August 13, 2003. She is survived by her children, Anthony M. Sanchez and wife, Pamela, Mary Helen Pena, Peggy Garcia and husband, Johnny and Almita Pacheco and husband, Rudy, all of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members. Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Nestor; son, Gilbert; and three grandchildren. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1900 Edith NE, with Father Thomas J. Mayesfske, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Sanchez, Johnny Ray Garcia, Donald Garcia, Alan Smith, Jr., James Silva and Donnie Armijo, Jr. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Friday, 5:00 p.m. to Rosary.
