Campbell -- Ruth Rose Campbell, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died on Saturday, January 18, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Bill Campbell of Albuquerque; sons, Bill Campbell III and wife Alyson of Peralta, NM, Gaylord T. Campbell and wife Roxanne of Albuquerque, and Kevin E. Campbell and wife Debora of Dana Point, CA; sister, Elaine Manicone and husband Michael of Downey, CA; grandchildren, Bryan Grandin of Peralta, NM, Juliette R. Campbell and Tanner S. Campbell, both of Albuquerque; and step-mother, Fern Zeisel of Albuquerque. Ruth was born and raised in OFallon, IL. She and Bill became high school sweethearts and then married in 1951. She was a valuable part of the family business, Bill Campbell Agency Realtors, since its inception, but she devoted and loved her family most of all. She gave unselfishly of herself to those around her. Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Sandia Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dewey Johnson officiating. Cihak -- Norma I. Cihak, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed away January 21, 2003, one day before her 89th birthday. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Ryan of Albuquerque; son, Walter Cihak and wife, Karen of Galt, CA; granddaughters, Paula Howard of Coeur d' Alene, ID and Michelle Cihak of Galt, CA; grandsons, John Ryan and wife, Penny and Jerry Ryan and wife, Dorene, all of Lakewood, CO; 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Her husband, Walter F. Cihak, preceded Ms. Cihak in death. Norma was an avid bowler, never missing her weekly league night. She was a life member of the Albuquerque Women's Bowling Association and a permanent member of the Women's International Bowling Congress. Crout -- Rosella G. Crout, age 93, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque died January 22, 2003. Survivors include daughters, Priscilla Armijo and Evelyn Sanchez of Albuquerque; son, Raymond Candelaria and wife, Viola of Los Lunas; brother, Elefgo Garcia y Aranda and wife, Vangie of Albuquerque; step-daughter, Carol Martz and husband, Frank of Ft. Sumner, NM; step-son, Douglas Crout of CA; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Her husband; a grandson; and a great-grandson preceded Rosella in death. A Memorial Mass will be held at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2003 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church 300 Mildred Ave. NW. Duran -- Eddie Duran, 63, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2003 after losing a long battle to brain cancer. He is survived by his wife, Corrine; sons, Gilbert and wife, Carol, and Dennis and wife, June; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Duran; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry, on February 22, 2002. Mr. Duran was born in Las Vegas, NM and retired from ABF Freight Systems in January, 1997. Erdman -- William R. Erdman, 77, of Belen passed away peacefully on January 19, 2003 in Albuquerque where he had been a resident of the Montebello on Academy for the past few months. Mr. Erdman was born on August 31, 1925 in Cimarron, Kansas to Raleigh Erdman and Gussie May Thompson Erdman. He is survived by his two children, Carol Radosevich and Richard Erdman and his wife, Kathy, all of Albuquerque. Other survivors include his sister, Carolyn Spearing and her husband, Joe of Harlan, Iowa; brother, Raleigh Erdman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Heather Dumas and husband, Christopher of Kansas City, Missouri, Keith Erdman and wife, Coleen of Denver, Colorado and Kevin Erdman of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Erdman was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Patricia Baxter Erdman of Marblehead, Massachusetts. Mr. and Mrs. Erdman were married in Albuquerque on March 5, 1948. Mr. Erdman was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served on the U.S.S. Princeton. He graduated from Cimarron Consolidated High School in 1943 and graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1949 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation Mr. Erdman joined the U.S. Corps of Army Engineers in Albuquerque and worked there until his retirement in 1974. During his professional career, he earned the certification of Professional Engineer. In 1986, he moved to Tierra del Sol in Belen with his wife and lovingly cared for her throughout her extended illness. Bill lived his life with dignity and was deeply loved and respected by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Avenue SE., on Friday, January 24, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Should friends desire, the family suggests donations to a Hospice or other charitable organization of their choice. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Fox -- Karl Heinrich Fuchs Fox, 24, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 19, 2003. He is survived by his parents, Dieter and Jacqueline Fuchs Fox of Albuquerque; sister, Monika Anne Fuchs Grabke and husband, Jason; brothers, Dieter Sean Fuchs Fox and wife, Talese, Ryan Kurt Fuchs Fox and girlfriend, Desiree; grandparents, Hans Karl Buers and wife, Maria Anna; aunts, Mary Caroline MacNinch, and Inge Fuchs and Heidi Marie Kaltwasser of Germany; nieces, Madelyn Tayte Fuchs Fox, Alison Marie Fuchs Grabke, and Jordan Elizabeth Fuchs Grabke; cousin, Scott Henry MacNinch and wife, Julie; 2nd cousins, Brianna Renee MacNinch and Mia Christine MacNinch; and numerous relatives and friends in Albuquerque, Germany, and The Netherlands. He loved playing soccer, golfing, skiing, and traveling. Karl was part owner of Dieter's and Son German Car Repair. He was a member of the BMW Car Club and he enjoyed custom tuning BMW's. He loved to ride his motorcycle and play with his dog, Belle. Karl participated in a lot of activities involving his German heritage. He enjoyed life to it's fullest and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Karl's friends and family were simply his life. Services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2003, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Gallegos -- Felipe Gallegos, 75, went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2003. Garris -- Rhenea J. Garris, 66, left this earth to go to her heavenly home on Tuesday evening, December 3, 2002, following a severe illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Futha Edward Kirkland. She is survived by her husband, David Garris; mother, Mildred Kirkland; children, Brett Garris and wife, Debbie, Roxanne Salsman and husband, Glenn, Vance Garris, Kirk Allen Garris; grandchildren, Aaron Bell, Megan Kulju; and three great-grandchildren. Rhenea was born in Winslow, Arizona on September 23, 1936 and moved to New Mexico in 1954 following her marriage to David. Rhenea was instrumental in implementation of the YMCA pre-school programs in the Albuquerque area and taught Sunday School and pre-school at Hoffmantown Baptist Church and Eastern Hills Baptist Church for a total of 36 years. Rhenea was so dedicated and gifted an educator, instilling lessons of principle and honor within her students, while encouraging their individual creativity, following her retirement, the Honorable Mayor Martin Chavez declared May 13, 1995 as Rhenea J. Garris day in Albuquerque. Rhenea also co-authored a children's book entitled"Fall Roundup", with her friend and co-worker of many years, Jolene Davidson. During her teaching years, she touched the hearts and lives of hundreds of adults and children and will be missed by all those who knew her. At Rhenea's request, cremation has previously taken place and a Memorial Service has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2003, at New Covenant Church, 7201 Paseo Del Norte NE, Rick Donaho officiating. If you so desire, in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Rhenea's name to All Faith's Receiving Home, 1709 Moon St. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87112. Krug -- Lloyd George Krug, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, joined his Creator on Monday, January 20, 2003 after a recent stroke; and is now in the arms of Jesus. He is survived by his lifelong love and wife of 55 years, Doris Mae Krug; daughters, LaDene Diamond and partner, Mike Richie; Kathleen Byle and husband, Duane; sons, Lloyd John Krug; Randy Krug and wife, Laura; and grandchildren, Michael Pontius, Randy Krug, Nicholas Krug, JaDen Diamond and Dakson Byle. Mr. Krug was an accomplished musician, scientist and educator. Maez -- The family of Gilbert Maez, Sr., wishes to thank all of our loving and caring family and friends for all the wonderful gestures of love with all the food, flowers, plants, fruit baskets, and all the many more acts of kindness shown to us during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Thank you to the doctors and staff of Presbyterian Hospital (4th & 5th floor) who gave such comfort and care, not only to Gilbert but to all of us while Gilbert was under you care. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Father Albert and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for the most beautiful Mass and graveside service, and to Gilbert's sister-in-law, Patsy Maez, and his niece, Maria Marez, for leading all of us in the most beautiful (uplifting) Rosary. Mcclintic -- Victoria McClintic was born on January 13, 1918 and left this world on January 22, 2003. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM and was preceded in death by her two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by two sons, John and Jim as well as John's wife, her daughter-in-law, Patsy. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Michelle, Jeff and wife, Kim, and Erin and two great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Dorcas and Nataleigh McClintic. Services and internment to be privately held for family only. A celebration of her life will be determined at a later date. The family requests that any donations be made to a favorite charity of choice.

Mcintyre -- William Howard McIntyre born July 6, 1927 in Albuquerque, NM died January 21, 2003 in Upland, CA. Billy graduated from St. Mary's School in 1947 where he played football and basketball. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines, 5th Division, Company E, during world War II and was a survivor of the full 38-day battle on Iwo Jima. He enlisted in the Marine Corps when he was only 16 years old because he felt a tremendous sense of patriotism and love for his country. He retired from the U.S. Post Office in Ontario, CA in 1989. His loving wife of 55 years, Mary Lee; and 15 of his 17 children survive Billy. His surviving sons are Stephen McIntyre, Bruce McIntyre, Paul McIntyre and Mark McIntyre; daughters, Jennifer Grant, Deborah Yamato, Cecelia Niemczyk, Sandra Williams, Laureen McIntyre, Mary Ann Campi, Teresa Guzman, Karen Schartau, Susan Alvarez, Sally Alvarez, and Melissa McIntyre. His sons, Daniel who died in 1977 and Patrick who died in 1998 preceded him in death. 37 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren also survive Billy. Billy was one of ten children who were all raised in Albuquerque. His surviving siblings are Teresa Zamora, David McIntyre and Boleso McIntyre all of Albuquerque and Craig McIntyre of Phoenix, AZ. Bill has joined his deceased sons as well as his deceased brothers, Robert, Johnny, Duncan and Pado McIntyre; and sister, Madeline Manning with God, our Father in heaven. Rosary will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Cooper Ave., NW on Monday, January 27, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. will follow the Rosary, Father Edmundo Rodriguez, Celebrant. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be conducted at Mount Calvary Cemetery immediately following the Funeral.

Nowalk -- Juanita Nowalk, 93, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2003. She was born on January 2, 1910 in Capitan, NM. Juanita enjoyed reading, attending church services, and spending time with her family and friends. She was fluent in Spanish and English. She is survived by her sons, Jacob Sandoval and wife, Ida of Stockton, CA and Floyd Sandoval and wife, Dora of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Lisa Maisterrena and husband, Juan of Lodi, CA, Mark Sandoval of San Francisco, AZ and Gary Sandoval and wife, Cynthia of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Kristan Maisterrena, Matthew Sandoval and Kaitlyn Sandoval. Juanita will be deeply missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl. N.E. (Lomas and Tennessee). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Osborn -- Winston C. Osborn, A/K/A Clare Winston Osborn, a resident of Albuquerque since 1985, died Wednesday, January 22, 2003. She was born December 22, 1917 in Rippey, IA, the daughter of Dr. William S. Osborn and Isabelle Osborn. She is survived by her cousins, Ann Clubine of Ames, IA, Christy Belvin of Amherst, NH, Mary Ann Rader of Pompano Beach, FL, Larry Heileman of Cohasset, MA and Charles B. Larrabee of Albuquerque. Winston Osborn enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a Public Health Nutritionist. She attended St. Theresa College in Winona, MN and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition. Winston then attended the University of Chicago and the University of Michigan, where she obtained her Master's Degree in Public Health Nutrition. Her career took her to Juneau and Anchorage, AL, where she made frequent trips by dog sled and bush plane to outlying villages. She was also employed in South Dakota, North Carolina and Arizona, before moving to Albuquerque to work for the Department of Health and Human Services in Indian Health Services. Earlier in her life, she was appointed by the U.S. Government and the World Health Organization to work in the country of Trinidad, located in the Caribbean. Winston retired in February 1995 and lived in the Phoenix Apartments before moving to the Las Palomas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Pickette -- Walter Pickette, 69, a longtime resident of El Rito, NM, passed away quietly after a short illness at the VA Hospital. He is survived by his brother, John Pickette and wife, Anna of Albuquerque; nephew, Jon Scott Pickette and wife, Elisa of San Francisco, CA; nieces, Erika Reynolds and husband, Bill and Stacie Greth, all of Albuquerque; five great-nephews; and two great-nieces; and was preceded in death by longtime companion, Glenn E. Wade y Panebouef. Walter was greatly loved and will be missed by his many friends. He was a gifted artist and designer here in New Mexico and New York City. Walter was a drama professor at the University of Albuquerque, co-owned several art galleries, designed sets and costumes for the Santa Fe Opera, several movies and other theatrical productions. Family and friends would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the VA Hospital for their excellent, professional and loving care. Pino -- Odelia Pino, 83, died Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Albuquerque. She is survived by her son, Anthony Pino and fiance, Elaine Salazar of Albuquerque; a sister, Loretta Montoya of Albuquerque; grandson, Fabian; special niece, Lonnie Narvaiz; and several loving nieces and nephews. She was a member of the San Ignacio Parish. She was born on July 2, 1919 in Los Chavez, New Mexico the daughter of Fransico and Eloisa Gabaldon. She married Antonio Jose Pino on December 12, 1952, in Albuquerque. He died September 26, 1988. She was a loving and gracious woman who devoted her life to her husband and son. Her parents; sisters, Rosario Aragon and Celestina Rodarte; and brother, Valentine preceded her in death. A Visitation will be held at Direct Funeral Services 2919 4th Street NW on Friday, January 24, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Memorial Services are pending.
