Obituary for Nowalk

Juanita Nowalk, 93, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2003. She was born on January 2, 1910 in Capitan, NM. Juanita enjoyed reading, attending church services, and spending time with her family and friends. She was fluent in Spanish and English. She is survived by her sons, Jacob Sandoval and wife, Ida of Stockton, CA and Floyd Sandoval and wife, Dora of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Lisa Maisterrena and husband, Juan of Lodi, CA, Mark Sandoval of San Francisco, AZ and Gary Sandoval and wife, Cynthia of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Kristan Maisterrena, Matthew Sandoval and Kaitlyn Sandoval. Juanita will be deeply missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl. N.E. (Lomas and Tennessee). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Faustino Archuleta, Elmo Gomez, Larry Flynn, Jerry Gomez, Julian Herrera and Adam Aldaz. Services are in the care of: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
