Cihak -- Norma I. Cihak, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed away January 21, 2003, one day before her 89th birthday. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Ryan of Albuquerque; son, Walter Cihak and wife, Karen of Galt, CA; granddaughters, Paula Howard of Coeur d' Alene, ID and Michelle Cihak of Galt, CA; grandsons, John Ryan and wife, Penny and Jerry Ryan and wife, Dorene, all of Lakewood, CO; 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Her husband, Walter F. Cihak, preceded Ms. Cihak in death. Norma was an avid bowler, never missing her weekly league night. She was a life member of the Albuquerque Women's Bowling Association and a permanent member of the Women's International Bowling Congress. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2003, 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel with Carmen Van Ness Templeton, C.S. presiding over services.
