Wright -- Amanda Brooke Wright August 17, 1990 - September 19, 2001I will always remember the first time I saw your face, checking every little finger and toe in its right place. Thanking God above for all the blessings that He gave, asking wisdom for the road He paved.Mommy tell me about Jesus, what color is His hair, is He disappointed when I lie or just don't share? And what about the angels are they as pretty as I'm told, and will I really walk on streets of gold. You had to walk a road that a child should never see, yet your strength and faith and hope, amazed your dad and me. I watched you grow so quickly, a young lady before my eyes, how did you ever get to be so wise?Mommy tell me about Jesus, does He really care for me? When I am scared and crying does he know and does he see, does he have a plan for my life even here in all this pain? I will trust him and not let this be in vain. With your head upon my shoulder as you breathed your final breath I know I'll see you again because my Lord has conquered death. So for now I will ask Jesus to hold my broken heart and all the tears I've cried each day since the day we had to part. Just help this life go quickly, is daily what I pray, I long to hold you in my arms someday.Mandy, tell me about Jesus as you look upon His face, now that you completely understand Amazing Grace. As you're singing with the angels of a love beyond compare, and baby I can't wait to see you there. So I'll hold fast to hope until I see you there. We miss you, Sweet Pea, we look forward to our reunion in glory. Love, Mommy, Daddy, Chris and Caleb. Thank you to all our friends and family and church family who have seen us through this difficult time. To the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, to the staff at UNMH Children's Hospital and Pediatric Oncology Dept., your the best. We love you all.
