Batts -- Junie Darlene"Punky" Batts, 45, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2002. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred G. Renfro in 1982; her mother, Shirley A. Lowe; and her nephew, Corey Vickery both in 2000. Punky is survived by her two sons, Justin Batts and his wife, Carla of Edgewood; and Ricky Paiz of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Carlos, Melanie Justin, Alyssa, and Jarod; and her three sisters, Marsha Yoke and her husband, Mike, Jeanne Renfro, all of Roswell, and Debra Dixon and her husband, Gordon of Albuquerque. She is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, and friends. Punky was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque. Pallbearers will be Justin Batts, Gordon Dixon Sr., Gordon Dixon Jr., and Adam Dixon. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM� 87002.
