Pennington -- We, the family of Gary Pennington, want all family and friends to know that Gary's death was not gang-related and that he was not a gang member as stated. He was not out looking for trouble, the night of his death. Gary was at a friend's home, but at the wrong time. He was yet another innocent victim in all this madness. My family and I want to thank all our family, friends, and Gary's many, many friends. We want to thank Church on the Rock, Ever-Ready Oil, Sun Valley Fruit Company, and Bank of America for their memorial fund, and to all the many people we have never met. Thank you all for your love, support, and your gifts. Special thanks to Bruce Hughes, Jackie Flores, Violia Baca, Julius Torrez, Joey Montoya, and Marcos Lujan. God Bless You. Barbara Ramos & Family
