We, the family of Gary Pennington, want all family and friends to know that Gary's death was not gang-related and that he was not a gang member as stated. He was not out looking for trouble, the night of his death. Gary was at a friend's home, but at the wrong time. He was yet another innocent victim in all this madness. My family and I want to thank all our family, friends, and Gary's many, many friends. We want to thank Church on the Rock, Ever-Ready Oil, Sun Valley Fruit Company, and Bank of America for their memorial fund, and to all the many people we have never met.
