Acosta -- Manuel Acosta, 40, beloved husband, father, son and brother was called home to be with the Lord Jesus, Saturday, December 25, 1999. Mr. Acosta was a resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his father, Simon Acosta. He is survived by his loving wife, Guadalupe Acosta of the family home; three daughters, Mayra, Yadira and Yesenia Acosta; his mother, Martha Acosta. Also surviving are two brothers, Jesus Acosta and Enrique Acosta; four sisters, Ramona Olguin, Socorro Acosta, Simona Torres and Petra Acosta. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 6:00 p.m. at the family home in Cerro Mission. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, at 12:00 p.m. at Juan Diego Mission in Meadowlake, with Fr. Ben as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Adamson -- Gail Adamson, 59, a child of God, daughter, sister, darling wife and companion, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her and teacher to us all died Friday evening, December 24, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Gary Adamson of Albuquerque; five children, Ryil Adamson, Rona Gomez, Shane Adamson, and Sherese Adamson, all of Albuquerque; and Theran Adamson of Springerville, AZ; four grandchildren, Dominic and Diego Gomez, and Dylan Adamson, all of Albuquerque, and Jaden Adamson of Springerville, AZ; mother, Elizabeth Bradford of Kansas City, MO; sister, Debbie Blair of Kansas City, MO; and brother, Bruce Bradford of Aiken, SC. She is also survived by one son-in-law, Jaime Gomez of Albuquerque; two daughters-in-law, Carrie Adamson of Springerville and Pauline Adamson of Albuquerque; mother-in-law, Ruby Adamson of Hutchinson, KS; brothers-in-law, David Adamson of Dallas, TX, George Blair of Kansas City, MO and Roy Adamson of Hutchinson, KS; sisters-in-law, Patty Adamson of Dallas, TX, and Gretchen Bradford of Aiken, SC. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Bradford and her brother, Glen Bradford, both of Kansas City, MO. She moved to Albuquerque in 1971 with her family. We will remember her as a loving wife, dedicated mom, and adoring grandmother. She devoted herself tirelessly to the well being of her family and as a teacher, to the students in her classroom. Her friends will remember her zest for life, her generosity, and the afternoons spent by the swimming pool, playing cards and laughing together. She was loved and respected by everybody who knew her. The world is a better place because she was in it. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 28, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 10,000 Spain NE, with Pastor Lester R. Armijo -- Mr. Jessie Armijo died Sunday in Albuquerque at the age of 52. Mr. Armijo is survived by his mother, Antonia Armijo; daughters, Michelle Salazar and husband, Romolo, and Melissa Armijo and fiancé, Paul Salazar; brother, Lorenzo Sedillo, Raymond Armijo and wife, Mela, and Robert Garcia; sister, Lucille Armijo, Irene Armijo and fiancé, Max; and JoAnn Lomas and husband, Nick; and four grandchildren, Romolo Salazar Jr., Jessieka Salazar, Vanessa Salazar, and Paul Salazar. She is survived by her daughter, Krystne Lynn Morrow and husband, Kirk and their children, Samantha Frances Morrow, 15 and Pierce Matthew Morrow, 4 of Albuquerque; son, Richard Edmond Krulish and his daughter, Erika Mary-Elizabeth Krulish, 18 both of Redondo Beach, CA; son, Robert Edward Krulish and wife, Linda and their children, Amanda, 10, Noah Robert, 8, Holly, 7, and Logan Andrew, 2 all of Atlanta, GA; sister, Mary Jo Hermann and husband, Mike of Albuquerque, and their children, Colleen, Shavaun, and Karissa; brother, Charles Baldassano and wife, Bebe and their children, Carole, Deena, Chad and Steven. Barber -- John Henry Barber, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 1999. He was born August 2, 1911 in Eatonton, GA and was a graduate of Mercer College in Macon, GA. Mr. Barber worked for the Federal Government for 43 years and also served with the Army Air Corps for three years during WWII. Survivors include Inez Barber, his wife of 57 years; two sons, John Henry Barber Jr. and wife, Loretta and James Rist Barber and wife, Kathy; and six grandchildren, William DeLucia, Amy Barber, John Henry Barber III, Joseph J. Barber, Jacob T. Barber and Jennifer Barber. Mr. and Mrs. Barber were longtime members of the First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque, where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating at the service will be Reverend Myron E. Barnhart -- Logan Conard, 79, a longtime De Baca County rancher died Saturday, December 25, 2999 in the De Baca General Hospital following an illness. Logan was born September 26, 1920 on the Clancy Ranch in De Baca County to the home of Lon Conrad and Gertrude Baker Barnhart. Logan worked on ranches in New Mexico especially in De Baca County where he owned and operated his ranch. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2575, and the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include a daughter Trudie Stovall of Big Spring, TX; two grandsons, Douglas Stovall and wife, Jessica of Carrollton, TX, Benjamin Stovall of the New Mexico Military Institute at Roswell, NM; and one great-grandson, Mike Bryant Stovall. Also surviving are two sisters, Ruby May Jones of Clovis, NM and Bobbye Wright and husband, Lester of Fort Sumner, NM; along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, December 28, 1999 from the Chavez Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Sumner, NM with Tom Oliver, Allen Sparks, and Jerry Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Sumner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his branding crew, Fred Garza, Clay Crist, Brian Drake, Justin Boyd, Cotton Boyd, Doug Johnson, Richard Vaughan, Charlie Vaughan, and his ranch manager Clare Oliver. Boles -- Gayle Salley Boles, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Sunday, December 26, 1999. She is survived by her son, Thomas Lee Boles of Alamogordo; brother, Warren W. Salley and wife, Jeanne of Las Cruces; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Boles was preceded in death by her husband, Millard M. Boles in 1976; and daughter, Carol Ann Boles in 1979. She came to Albuquerque from Villa Park, IL in 1964 and worked at Rhodes Dept. Store. Mrs. Boles was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was Past Royal Matron of La Mesa Court #3, held offices in the Eastern Star, and was a member of the White Shrine. She was also a member of D.A.R. Bollschweiler -- Bruce S. Bollschweiler, 73, a resident of Albuquerque for 17 years, died Sunday, December 26, 1999. He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Bollschweiler of the family home; daughters, Julia Fontaine and husband, Armand of Brookpark, OH, Cynthia McDonnell and husband, Edward Joseph of Rio Rancho, Christie Widlar and husband, James of Boulder, CO, and Letha Koepp and husband, Charles of Casper, WY; son, Bruce A. Bollschweiler and wife, Allison of Denver, CO; daughter, Kimberly Holdredge and husband, Gary of Elk Grove, CA; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nine brothers and sisters. Mr. Bollschweiler served in U.S. Navy as a submariner on the U.S.S. Runner and the U.S.S. Valador. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kirtland Ward. He had been a High Priest Group Leader. He was active in the genealogy program for several years, and had managed the Bishop's Storehouse. Mr. Bollschweiler was a machinist with B.F. Goodrich. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kirtland Ward Chapel, 5709 Haines NE, with Bishop Karl A. Ney conducting. Burns -- Virginia Mary"Ginger" "Ginny"- a native and life-long resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, December 26, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Burns of Oshkosh, WI. they were married 23 years. Virginia is survived by son, Tom Burns, wife Karen; granddaughter, Kiri; step-grandson, James of Lafayette, CO; daughter, Karen Dawson, husband, Mark of Denver, CO; daughter, Donna Sloan; grandson, Nicholas, of Denver, CO; son, Terry Burns of Broomfield, CO; son, Tim Burns of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by a very large extended family. Virginia was born on February 19, 1935. She was very vigorous in community activities. She was active in the Sweet Adelines Show Chorus, competitive country-wester and ballroom dancing, two quilting groups, TOPS, and the Senior Citizens Centers. Virginia loved traveling, spending time in the mountains and fishing. She was beyond energetic and was full of life. She devoted herself endlessly to her family and her friends. Her generosity was her trade mark. She was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. We will remember her as a loving mother and many will miss her delicious brownies. Pilar moved to Rio Rancho over 8 years ago from Spain. Pilar is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho, NM. Greene -- Crockett Greene, 83, a longtime resident of Albuquerque since 1943, died Saturday, December 25, 1999. Mr. Greene was born on June 19, 1916 in Tishomingo, OK, the son of Phillip and Clady Greene. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Greene was retired from Civil Service at Kirtland Air Force Base. Gutierrez -- Albert"Ay Esta" Gutierrez, born in Albuquerque, NM, July 28, 1941 died December 25, 1999. Kamm -- Carmelinda (Lena) Kamm, 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 1999. Lena was born in Chicago to a family of immigrants from Italy. In 1972 she retired from the CrackerJack Company in Chicago, where she put the prizes into CrackerJack boxes, and moved to Albuquerque. She was confined to a wheelchair after she broke her hip in 1995, and she lived at Albuquerque Manor where the staff took wonderful care of her. Her husband Elmer and her three brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Joan Kennedy and husband Jim of Santa Fe; her son Ronald and wife Sandra of Albuquerque; grandchildren Nancy McDowell of Clovis, David Kennedy of Santa Fe, and Kimberly Kamm and Tracy Kennedy of Albuquerque; and great grandchildren Alissa and Jessica McDowell of Clovis. A memorial service will be held in Santa Fe at Lutheran Church of the Servant, 2481 Legacy Court at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 28, 1999. Cremation will be followed by interment in Chicago at a later date.

Lang -- Robert Milton Lang, 63, a resident of Albuquerque for 38 years, died Thursday, December 16, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Crownover; sons, Joseph P. Lang, Robert M. Littrell -- Thomas Littrell, age 38, was born in Albuquerque, NM on June 23, 1961. He is preceded in death by his baby son, James Tito Littrell; and his maternal grandmother, Manuclita Lopez. He is survived by his parents, Perfecto and Melba Cordova of Albuquerque; his uncles, Manuel Lopez, and Gus Duran; his girlfriend, Desiree Martinez of Albuquerque; his brother, Ricky and wife, Sally Sanchez; sister, Sandra Littrell and partner, Lisa Fonseca; brother, Floyd Cordova and partner, David Trujillo; brother, Edwin and wife, Leslie Cordova; sister, Molly Cordova; brother, Desi Cordova; and sister, Patsy Lopez, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by several other aunts and uncles; 19 loving nephews and nieces; and two great nieces. Tommy was known for his willingness to help out family, friends and neighbors. He was also know for his love of his cars and his one-handed push up. He will be sadly missed, but will always be remembered and dear to our hearts. Maestas -- Herman L. Maestas,"The Apple," a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Monday, December 27, 1999 at the young age of 63. A native New Mexican, born in Corrales and a proud member of the Teamsters Local 492 for 32 years. The Super Slab has come to an end,"Come In." Herman was born July 3, 1936 the son of Trancito and Delfina Pacheco Maestas. Polnaszek -- John"JP" Polnaszek, loving father and friend, gave up his battle with cancer and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 22, 1999 in Chandler, Arizona. Roensch -- Arno Roensch, a 25 year resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 1999,at the age of 81. Born in Berlin, 1918, he emigrated to New York at age 3. His education at Rutgers University was interrupted in 1944 when he was drafted into the Army and was sent to Los Alamos as a scientific glassblower for the Manhattan Project. After the war, he headed to the glass shop at Los Alamos National Laboratory where he worked for 30 years. During that time he received his B.A. in business administration from Highlands University. He also shared his musical talent playing trumpet and leading a dance band in the '40's and playing in and directing many musical productions in the '50's and '60's at Los Alamos. In 1974 he moved to Albuquerque to establish the glassblowing shop for the chemistry department at UNM and to teach his art. He retired from UNM in 1988 but continued to blow glass at his own business, Southwestern Scientific Glass Company, until his death. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Elenor Stone Roensch. He is survived by his sons, Paul Roensch of Albuquerque, Fred Roensch of White Rock; daughter, Barbara Fake and husband, Jim of Los Angeles; and adopted daughter, Loc Truong, of Albuquerque; his very dear friend, April Holliday; his grandchildren, Arno, Jonathan, Megan, Pete Drew, Amy, Abby , and Nat. His love for people made him many, many friends. His infections laugh and great sense of humor inspired all of us to live life to its fullest. Thomas -- Paul A. Thomas, 89, died Sunday of congestive heart failure at is home at Vista Del Rio in Albuquerque. Known to his friends ad Pat, he was a sociology professor at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, from 1946 until 1975. During his tenure at DePauw, Pat was actively involved in the civil rights movement and enjoyed playing the washboard with the Ducks of Dixieland, a small jazz combo. A 1932 graduate of Oberlin College, he was a Glen Gray scholar and quarterback of the college football team. Later, after serving in the Navy in World War II, he earned his Ph.D. at Indiana University. His wife, the former Margaret James Eaton, died in 1988. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lucy and John Maret of Mohegan Lake, NY; son, Andy and daughter-in-law, Marit S. Tully of Albuquerque; son, Russell of Austin, TX; and two grandsons, John and Russell Maret. A private memorial service is planned, and Pat's name will be placed next to his wife's on a headstone in Marblehead, Ohio.
