Romero -- Lori In Loving Memory Feb. 2, 1927 -- Dec. 8, 1997It has been two years since you left me to be with the Lord. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I miss you very much, but I thank the Lord for placing you with me within this lifetime. God willing, we'll be together again. There's a New World somewhere they call the Promised Land, And I'll be there someday if you will hold my hand; I still need you there beside me no matter what I do, For I know I'll never find another you. There is always someone for each of us they say, And you'll be my someone forever and a day; I could search the whole world over until my life is through, and I know I'll never find another you. It's a long, long journey, so stay by my side, If I walk through a storm, be my guide. If I were give a fortune my treasure would be small, I could lose it all tomorrow and never mind at all; But if I should lose your love, dear, I don't know what I'd do, For I know I'll never find another you.Your Loving Husband, Martin

Simmons -- Carla Salinas Simmons, 38, passed away November 30, 1999. Carla attended Aztec Elementary, Jackson Middle, and Eldorado High Schools, graduating in 1979. She was a very beautiful woman who left a loving impression on the lives of everyone who knew her. Carla was a wonderful, caring mother and wife who dedicated her life and passion to her husband and two children. She was a best friend to many and abundantly shared her love with everyone who had the benefit of being in her presence. All of her grieving friends and family members are in shock-knowing of her death. Carla's life touched so many others, so deeply, that our hearts are left wrenched with emptiness and pain, realizing the fragrance of her love must now be cherished only in memories. Yet we have all been touched by her loving soul and can feel her with us as we attempt to cope with her death. Like an angel, Carla has spoken with each of us, as if to let us know that she is in the loving presence of our Lord and God. Some of us have even been so lucky as to cry tears of joy and laughter, feeling in Carla's spirit, a little portion of God's unending glory. Carla still loves us all and she will be with each of us during our times of need. Now we have a special angel, our beloved Carlita, to help guide our lives through the many trials that deepen our characters.
