Yates -- Louise D. Yates died on Sunday afternoon, December 5, 1999. She was the mother of three sons, Fred G. Yates, and George M. Yates, both of Roswell, and Harvey Yates, Jr. of Albuquerque. In addition to her three sons, she is survived by one brother, Roy Davidson, of Raton, New Mexico. She was predeceased by two other brothers, Earl Davidson of Santa Fe, and Bill Davidson of Carlsbad. Louise lived most of her adult life in Artesia, though she had resided for the last seven months in Albuquerque, where she died. Memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, December 9th at 10:00 a.m. in Albuquerque at the UNM Chapel to be followed by a reception. Her funeral will be held in Artesia at the First Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. on December 22nd.
