Obituary for Meier

William G."Bill" Meier, 83, an Albuquerque resident since 1972, died Monday, September 28, 1998. Mr. Meier was a 15 year member and past president of the Four Hills Lions Club, where he was honored as a Melvin Jones Fellow. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor of the family home; daughters, Jeannette Schulz of Alton, IL and Alberta Costanzo and husband, James of Albuquerque; son, William E. Meier of Yorkville, IL; step-daughters, Dorothy Sikora and husband, Fred of Burbank, IL, Beverly Matthews and husband, Robert of Greensburg, KY and Kay DeLaet of Greensburg, KY; step-sons, Robert DeLaet of Vallejo, CA and Lee DeLaet and wife, Audrey of Chicago, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Meier and wife, Emily of Chicago, IL. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, October 1, 1998, 1:00 p.m., at Faith in Christ Lutheran Church, Chelwood and Indian School NE. Interment of cremains will take place at a later date in Mulkeytown, IL.
