Nakos -- John Nakos, 88, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, died Monday, September 29, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Florence of the family home; sons, John C. Nakos of Rio Rancho and James T. Nakos and wife, Diane of Albuquerque; and brothers, Jim Nakos, Steve Nakos, both of Connecticut, and Tom Nakos of Illinois. Mr. Nakos served with the US Navy during WWII. He was a mechanical engineer in charge of construction for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, 3:00 p.m., French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
