Calvillo -- Mr. Robert J. Calvillo Sr., a life long resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday at the age of 39. Mr. Calvillo served in the United States Army. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Calvillo; son, Robert Calvillo Jr. of Albuquerque; daughter, Katherine Calvillo, of Arizona; brother, Michael Calvillo and wife, Alice of Arizona; sisters, Linda Cuellar of Albuquerque, and Kathy Trujillo and husband, Cipriano of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Calvillo will be held on Thursday at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike Calvillo, Louie Trujillo, Cipriano Trujillo, Michael Cuellar, Jeb Sandoval and Sammy Salazar. A Rosary for Mr. Calvillo will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.

Carrillo -- Jimmy Carrillo, 55, passed away January 22, 2001. He was a veteran, having served in the USAF. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2001 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services. Services will be held at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2001. Chavez -- Mr. Tomas S. Chavez Jr. died Monday in Albuquerque at the age of 84. He was born on June 30, 1916 in Albuquerque. Mr. Chavez is preceded in death by his wife, Maria J. Chavez and his parents, Antonita and Tomas Chavez Sr. He served in the United States Army and was a World War II Veteran. Mr. Chavez was also a member of the American Legion Post 72. He retired from Kirtland Air Force Base as a heavy equipment operator. He was a man with a very big heart and a smile that is going to be missed. He is going to be greatly missed by everybody who knew him and loved him. We love you Grandpa. Mr. Chavez is survived by his daughter, Tommie Mancha and husband, Juan; grandchildren, Angela Mancha, and Martin Mancha and wife, Lynette; two great-grandchildren, Aliyah and Melissa Mancha; brother, Trinidad Chavez and wife, Mela; sisters, Gertrudes Aragon and husband, Tony, and Emilia Garcia; brother-in-law, Alcario Jaramillo; sisters-in-law, Agripina Mares and Goya Espinosa; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Chavez will be held on Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Chavez Sr., Richard Chavez Jr., Richard Gurule, Joseph Gurule, Roland Mares and Lupe Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Garcia, Steve Mares, Ray Mares, Ramon Mares, Tomas Mares, Saulo Mares, John Chavez and Jolie Gurule. Visitation for Mr. Chavez will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Salazar & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Gerrard -- Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend, Merlene U. Gerrard, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2001. Born in Sunnyside, Utah on December 22, 1919 to John W. and Edna Lillie Arrowsmith Ungricht, Merlene is survived by children, Ralene Bills and husband, Donald O. of Littleton, CO, Robin Bennett and husband, David K. of San Jose, CA, Skip Gerrard of Temple, TX and Cory Gerrard and wife, Brigit of Layton, UT; two brothers, Sam Ungricht and wife, Virginia of Apache Junction, AZ and Dr. Herbert Ungricht and wife, Barbara of Salt Lake City, UT; and 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren who affectionately called her"Mer". Merlene was a school teacher for Albuquerque Public Schools for over 20 years. She was very active in the LDS Church and worked in the LDS Albuquerque Temple. She was an Alpha Chi Omega and remained active with the sorority throughout her life. Merlene's life was centered around her family, church, friends and"chocolate". Her eternal companion of 57 years, Ralph M. Gerrard preceded her in death on April 3, 2000. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie Merlene Bills on March 15, 1999. Her smile, laughter, generosity and love will be truly missed. In her life she was a shining role model to her friends. Her wonderful example will live on through her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Friends may visit from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25 at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 26 at the Relief Society Room of the Eubank Chapel of the LDS Church, 4109 Eubank Blvd NE. Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Eubank Chapel. Merlene will be laid to rest with her husband Ralph at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque. Pallbearers will be Charley Zaffery, Davey Bennett, Donald O. Bills, Jr., Chris Bennett, Colter Gerrard, Robert"Bub" Bennett, Cooper Gerrard and Keaton Gerrard. Hartt -- Eufelia Hartt, 89, passed away January 19, 2001. Services were held at Nativity Church. Henfling -- Mildred Nixon Henfling, my mother and best friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2001. A mother is a wondrous gift, God gives us from above To fill our days with warmth and joy, To fill our lives with love. Amanda BradleyMildred was born in Roswell, NM., on October 9, 1919, and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1936. She is survived by her daughter, Janice"Jan"¯ Kay Henfling of Albuquerque, NM. (Formerly of Denver, CO.); her brother-in-law, Henry Barsanti of Albuquerque, NM.; nephews, Ron Barsanti of Pagosa Springs, CO., Tom Barsanti of Chicago, IL., Bob Fleming, and Bill Austin both of Albuquerque, NM. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, George¯Bud¯ W. Henfling, Retired Major, U.S. Army, 200th Calvary, and sisters, Mary Pat Barsanti, Cherry Dennis, Beulah Fleming, and Besse Nixon. On Thursday, January 25, 2001 a viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1500 Chelwood NE., with Pastor Peter Schoew of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating. Hunick -- Rosann Hunick, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM died on Sunday, January 21, 2001 at the age of 43. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving daughter, Melanie Hunick and fiance, Robert Thompson; and a son, Eric Justo Hunick and fiance, Crystal Jacquez; her father, Transito Montoya and wife, Dolly; three brothers, Mike Montoya and wife, Hazel, David Valasquez and wife, Melannie and Joe Zamora; a very close and special person that she loved very much, her grandmother, Lena Casias; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and many friends that will miss her very much. She is preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Henry Justo Hunick, daughter, Melinda Lynn Hunick, mother, Virginia Velasquez and grandfather, Ted Casias. Rosann gave a great deal of time to nursing homes and was very concerned about the elderly at these homes. A Rosary will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2001 viewing will start at 5:00 p.m. with the Service at 7:00 p.m. at San Ignacio Parish, 1300 Walter NE, Albuquerque, NM. recited by John Casias. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at San Ignacio Parish by Merce Villareal, with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Isenberg -- Donald E. Isenberg, age 70, a resident of Lafayette, IN died Saturday, January 13, 2001 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Isenberg is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lucretia Isenberg; one daughter, LaLa Proffit; son-in-law, Charles"Chuck" Proffit of Lafayette; one sister, Margorie Rose of Albuquerque; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Isenberg attended Butler University in Indianapolis, IN and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion. He was employed at Purdue University in their Physical Plant for 22 years. He then worked in the Purdue Mail Department for eight years before his retirement. He enjoyed watching all Purdue Boilermaker sports, rooting for the Chicago Cubs and was an avid bowler. Mr. Isenberg will be given a Military Funeral, Wednesday, January 17, 2001 in Lafayette, and will be interred at Memorial Gardens, Veterans Section, West Lafayette, IN. He was a kind and loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be missed.

Mook -- Jeanne Mook nee Cunningham, 71, of Redlands, CA., passed away Saturday, January 20, 2001, one week before her 72nd birthday on January 27th, after a long struggle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Walter Mook of Redlands, Ca.; daughter, Pamela Foley and husband, Michael of Simi Valley, Ca.; sons, Robert Mook and wife, Christie of Santa Monica, Ca., and Dr. Kenneth Mook, wife, Charisse; and three grandchildren of Louisville, Ky. She is also survived by sisters, Arlene Vath of Albuquerque and Joanne White and husband, James of Corona, Ca.; brothers, Lee Cunningham and wife, Jimmie of Albuquerque and George Cunningham and wife, Evelyn of Sun Valley, Ca.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Thelma Cunningham of Albuquerque. Jeanne was a former resident of Albuquerque and graduated from A.H.S. in 1947. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Wesley Club of Albuquerque. In Redlands, she was active in The Iris Society, Garden Club, D.A.R. and Humane Association. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 51 West Olive Ave., Redlands, CA. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Animal Humane Association in Jeanne's name.

Nero -- Clement M. Nero, 59, born April 1, 1941 in Guyana, South American, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2001 along with his dog Gypsy. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Sllas Nero; and three sons, Thamen, Nuent and Elervn Nero; also by adopted son, Luis Varela; sister-in-law, Lella Ellison and brother-in-law, Leonard Paysinger. He will be missed by many family members and other loved ones.
