Reichert -- Leo Walter Reichert, 72, passed away at the Veteran¯s Administration Hospital, Albuquerque, NM on July 24, 2001. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Lee Winnen and husband, Arthur, of Tooele, UT, Kathryn Reichert of Tempe, AZ and Patti Jo Luke and husband, Ted, of Colleyville, TX; grandchildren, Ryan Allen Luke, Scott Mitchell Luke, Joseph Reichert Winnen, David Kent Winnen, Lauren Erin Luke, Mary Ann Cannon and Amber Lynn Winnen; great-grandchild, Dallas Kole Cannon; brother, Stanley Reichert of Washington, PA; and sisters, Florence Gorby of Pittsburgh, PA and Genevieve McGlone of Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Reichert was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Paul and Regina Mosier Reichert and by a brother, Frank Reichert. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He had many fishing buddies. He also loved to play jokes on everyone. Leo's pride and joy were his seven grandchildren and great-grandson. Services will be held Friday, July 27, 2001, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Sanchez -- Mr. Jesse O. Sanchez, 68, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 24, 2001. Mr. Sanchez is the beloved husband of 20 years to Mrs. Eloisa Sanchez. He is also survived by four daughters, Antoinette Willis and husband, James, Rhonda Sanchez, Regina Sanchez and Veronica Sanchez and husband, Steven; two sons, Ralph Sanchez and wife, Donna and Marty Sanchez; two sisters, Emily Gonzales and husband Dan and Bella Candelaria and husband Leroy; one brother: Ralph Sanchez and wife Domie;13 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Cora Sanchez Martinez and a brother Joe Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the Navy serving in the Korean Conflict. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE with viewing at the church at 6:30 p.m. Evelyn Lujan, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church with final viewing at the church at 9:30 a.m. Father Dennis Garcia, Celebrant. Sanchez -- Mr. Joe Nieves (Snowy) Sanchez, 81, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 24, 2001. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Dora Sanchez and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Mr. Sanchez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He fought in the Pacific. He was a member of the D.A.V. Cutting-Garcia Chapter # 3. He made his home with Johnny and Charlotte Ronquillo. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with viewing after 6:30 p.m. Gabriella Nieto, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Daniel Balizan, Celebrant. Chavez -- Mike R. Chavez, 58, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, loving father, grandfather and friend, died Sunday, July 22, 2001. He is survived by his son, Eloy Chavez; daughters, Candi Chavez, Stella Murdoch and husband, Jeff, all of Albuquerque and Bernadette Navarrette and husband, Thomas of Colorado; grandchildren, Megan Murdoch, BriAnna Chavez, Eloy Chavez, Jr., Sarah and Antonio Navarrette and Elena Chavez; three brothers; one sister; special aunt, Theresa ¯Nana¯ Chavez; and former wives, Tomi Chavez and Mary Gonzales. Duran -- Hope G. Duran, 79, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, July 22, 2001. She is survived by her son, Robert Teller and wife, Robin; grandson, Stephen Teller; granddaughter, Ellesse Teller, all of Los Alamos; sisters, Ramona Montoya, Lucy Garcia, Dora Apodaca and husband, Phillip and Jill Ruble, all of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Duran. Hope retired from the Albuquerque Police Department in 1984 as a finger print supervisor. Gallegos -- Dick A. Gallegos, 79, died Monday, July 23, 2001 at his home in Socorro, NM. He was born August 26, 1921 to Andres and Labradita (Gonzales) Gallegos in Tokay, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Viola Gallegos; brothers, Santiago, Johnny, Tony and Andres Jr.; and sister, Pauline Garcia. Gilmore -- Nathan Allen Gilmore, 79, a resident of Albuquerque for 25 years, died Saturday, July 21, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Hazel M. Gilmore; daughter, Gerry L. Sass and husband, Richard, of Cloudcroft, NM; daughter, Gayle M. Huelsmann, of Albuquerque, and her friend, Dale Causey; daughter, Gwen A. Crissman and husband, Kim of Albuquerque; daughter, Ginger B. Gilmore of Albuquerque; sister, Jenny Lind Stubblefield, of Waco, Texas; grandson, Eric P. Huelsmann; several nieces; and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rebecca Gayle Fellers; and his sisters, Florence Lenhart and Frances Porter. Nathan joined the Navy in 1941 and was a licensed GAA Aircraft and Engine Mechanic Mate F Flight Engineer. He was honorably discharged on May 10, 1946 and started his own business, Gilmore Lumber and Millwork in Waco, Texas. He moved his family to Artesia, New Mexico and worked at Denton Lumber Company until 1969. At that time he relocated to Navajo, New Mexico where he was a manager at Navajo Forest Products Industries. A final move would bring the family to Albuquerque where he worked at Trademasters Construction, Inc. until his retirement. Nathan was a master wood craftsman and custom cabinet builder. He enjoyed fishing, boating and gardening. The family wishes to thank all of those who prayed for Nathan throughout his lengthy illness. Services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2001, at 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Grodner -- Jeremy Vachio Grodner, 26, Passed away Saturday, July 21st 2001, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was adored by his family: his brother, Jake; sister, Jamie; mother, Angie Vachio; father, Brian; stepmom, Jean; grandparents, Rose Vachio and Milton Grodner. Also Stacye McCafferty, uncles and aunts, Richard Grodner and wife, Irene, Robert Grodner and wife, Patty, Lauren Babus and husband, Lowell, Terri Mendoza and husband, Victor, Robert Vachio and wife, Marsha, Richard Vachio, and numerous cousins. Hall -- Col. Jasper C. Hall, USAF (Ret.), passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2001. He was a resident of Albuquerque since 1965. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughters, Judy Runner and husband, Gary of Houston, TX and Jo Anne Hall of Alamogordo, NM; grandsons, Robert Buckley, Jr. and wife, Kelly and Eric Buckley and wife, Kelly; and great-grandson, Jacob Buckley. Jasper was proud to serve his country in World War II and the Korean War. He flew 65 missions in the B-26 in Europe with the 344th Bomber Group.
