Page -- Laura A. Page, 84, a resident of Rio Rancho since June 1969, passed away Feb. 1, 2002. Born April 21, 1917, in Pittsfield, Mass., she was the daughter of George Henry Perron and Laura Agnes McDermott Perron. Laura was a retired Albuquerque Public Schools teacher at Taylor Middle School. She also was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry D. Page; her daughters, Laura Page Cox, and husband Patrick Fredrick of Waterbury, Conn., and Dianne Page Britain of Memphis Tenn., three grandchildren, Dianne Maria Britain of Houston, Texas, Kellie Anne Britain and Peter Leon Britain II, both of Memphis, Tenn.; and five great-grandchildren, Kellie Dianne Britain, Michael Shon Gatlin, Christina Leeanne Gatlin, Page Nicole Parkey and Clara Destiny Britain. Stewart -- Roy P. Stewart, 62, passed away Monday, January 28, 2002 in Albuquerque, NM after a short bout with mantle cell cancer. Roy was born August 14, 1939 in Dallas, TX to the late Raymond Stewart and Zoe Stewart Ziemann. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Irene, of the family home; three children, Karen Edwards and husband, Gary; Suzanne Malone, all of Albuquerque, and Michael Spears of Naples, FL; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his special poodle and friend, Sherry; cousins, Carolyn Sanders and husband, Bobby, Robert Shockley and wife, Celia of TX and many very special and good friends throughout the country. Mr. Stewart served his country faithfully as a member of the U. S. Navy (1957-60) and the U. S. Army (1962-80) serving in Vietnam and Korea. Roy ended his 22 year military career at Kirtland AFB as a member of BIG CROW. Roy honorably retired from the Army in 1980. His military decorations include the Bronze Star, the Vietnam Service Medal and other military decorations. Over the last 25 years he was highly involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Military Order of the Cooties and was a member of the DAV and American Legion Post 49. He served as Post Commander of VFW 401, Supreme Councilman of District II MOC, Grand of New Mexico MOC Commander and Seam Squirrel of Pup Tent #7 of the MOC. Mr. Stewart also retired from the NM State Physical Science Laboratory in 1993. He was most recently employed with Transcore. It was Mr. Stewart's wish to be cremated and no formal services to take place at this time. Instead, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date when the tears stop flowing. He will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to do so, the family requests a memorial contribution be made to Pup Tent #7, for donation to the VFW National Home for Children, of which he was a life member. Please earmark any contributions for that purpose and mail to 2011 Girard SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. We are sure Roy is already entertaining the angels with his endless supply of jokes as he did here on earth. He was the Leo who never met a stranger and has his very special circle of good friends whom he regularly checked on and helped whenever he could. Roy had a big heart and did many good deeds for many people. He was a volunteer at the VA Hospital with over 770 hours spent bringing joy to the patients. The family deeply appreciates the visits, cards and phone calls throughout this difficult time.

Vaughan -- Charles T. Vaughan passed away January 31, 2002 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Elsie (Stock) Vaughan; and son, Mike Vaughan, both of Albuquerque; sister, Judy Doughty of Corrales; other friends and family that loved and will miss him. Cremation has taken place. Watson -- Stella Watson, our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt joined the Lord on January 30, 2002 at the age of 91 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Her husband, Sam Watson preceded her in death after 59 years of marriage. Her son, Ernie, his wife Sally, and her three grandchildren Rachelle, Alan and Sarah of Albuquerque survive her. Born on October 1, 1910, the oldest of nine children to Savas and Virginia Lujan in Hoehne, Colorado. She outlived her eight siblings Solomon Lujan, Manuel Lujan, Avade Lujan, Alex Lujan, Helen Mestas, Tony Lujan, Fred Lujan, and Edward Lujan. Her legacy will be the sprit of love and kindness she passed on to her family and those she met during her long life. Her love for her family and friends was only surpassed with the love she had for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will deeply missed but her sprit will live on with those that will remember her as a loving, kind, and gentle person willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Services will be at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 4th and Alameda NW. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, February 4, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Weatherford -- Jewell Lee Weatherford, 101, a resident of New Mexico since 1957, died Friday, February 1, 2002. She is survived by her sons, James A. Stark and wife Mary Lu , and Dr. John E. Weatherford and wife Elva; grandchildren, Patti Sturges and husband Joe, Donna L. Stark, Elva Riley and husband Joe, Melanie Anzaldua and husband Danny, and Kendall Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Melissa and John Riley and Alexandria and Isabella Anzaldua; brother Dr. William Lee; sister Jerri Elmore; and many, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Weatherford was born January 11, 1901 near Anna, TX and studied home economics at West Texas State, Texas Tech and the University of Texas at Austin. She moved to Albuquerque in 1957 where she taught school at Queen of Heaven Catholic School and Faith Lutheran Kindergarten, which she originally started. Services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2002, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Ron McConnell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Brown -- Mr. George Bierner Brown, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on January 31, 2002. Mr. Brown is survived by his stepmother, Mary Brown; two daughters, Mary Jane Brown Duran and husband, Dan, Pamela Brown Coates and husband, Frank; seven sisters, Esther Torrez( John), Stella Tafoya and husband, Cruz, Alice McBride and husband, Jim, Kathy Wiggins(Wille), Lee Cassidy (Jim), Lydia Blevins and husband, Bob, Jean Glidewell and husband, Duane; four brothers, Tom Brown and wife, Olaya, Freddie Brown, Robert Brown and wife, Amy, Phillip Brown and wife, Frances; four grandchildren, Daniel Scott Duran, Stephanie Padilla and husband, Rumaldo, Frankie Coates and George Coates; three great-grandchildren, Rumaldo Padilla IV, Michael Padilla, Emmalee Jade Padilla; his beloved Chihuahua, Weezy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Emma; his daughter, Sandra Gail; his parents, AC and Vivianita Brown; his sister, Elsie Brown Chavez; and his brother, Abbie Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a Veteran of the US Army serving during WW II. He participated in the"D" Day invasion of Normandy, survived the assault on Omaha Beach, and was wounded on August 13, 1944, by machine gunfire while still serving in France. He was medically evacuated across the English Channel where he spent 10 months in an Army Hospital. His metals include the Purple Heart, Bronze Battlestar, Infantry Combat Badge and the French Jubilee Medal of Liberty. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with full military honors by the DAV chapter 3. Pallbearers will be Tom Brown, Freddie Brown, Robert Brown, Phillip Brown, Scott Duran and Frankie Coates. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Coates, Cruz Tafoya, Bob Blevins, Jim McBride, Duane Glidewell and Charlie Bierner. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Chavez -- Daisy Chavez, 74, was born February 27, 1927 in Seboyeta, NM, where she was also raised. She passed away January 31, 2002 in Albuquerque at Valle Norte Caring center where she received excellent care. Our family would like to thank Valle Norte for their superb care of Daisy. Daisy was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Telesfor; and daughter, Linda. Daisy is survived by her ten children, Donald Chavez and wife, Maryann, Oscar Chavez and wife, Joann, Cynthia Armijo and Steve Griego, Laura Chavez and husband, Joe, Pernetty Salazar and husband, Hector, Joy Trujillo and husband, Jr., Vickie Rodriguez, Patrick Chavez and wife, Valerie, Joe Chavez and wife, Frances, Lisa Jaramillo and husband, Max; son-in-law, Danny Chavez; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Victor; four sisters, Patty, Celia, Gloria, and Carmen; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta, NM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2002 with burial following at Moquino Cemetery in Seboyeta, NM. Daniels -- Jack Edward Daniels, 45, died on Monday, January 28, 2002 after a sudden illness while enroute to Albuquerque following his mother's Funeral Service. Jack was born on March 30, 1956 in Houston, TX. He was the son of Carl Edward Daniels, Jr. and Dolores Ann Loveland. Jack was reared and received his education in Houston and graduated in 1974 from the Memorial High School. He continued his education and was a student at the University of Alabama and then the University of Texas. Jack made is home in Albuquerque since 1981 and was a member of the Hoffmantown Church. He is survived by his father, Carl E. Daniels, Jr., of Albuquerque; sister, Jill A. Crawford and husband, Richard of Lake Murray, FL; nephew, Daniel Crawford; and niece, Rachel Crawford, both of Lake Murray, FL; maternal grandmother, Eythel Williams Loveland; paternal grandmother, Helen Hamerla Daniels; and uncle, Gene Loveland, all of Bartlesville, OK. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Gene Daniels, June 20, 1998 and his mother, Dolores A. Daniels, January 17, 2002. Private family interment will take place in Bartlesville, OK.

Fuller -- Andra Lee Fuller, "Chub," 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1984, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002. Chub was born June 13, 1923 in Pascagula, MS to Rufus Atwood Fuller and Christine Alameda Dove. He is survived by his brother, Alton of Lake Travis, TX and his wife of 58 years, Annie Lee Moreau; four sons, John, Drew, Steve and Mark; daughter, Ginger MacLamore, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Kory, Jesi, Jeni, Sarah, Eric MacLamore and Angela MacLamore Sanchez; and one great-grandchild, little Sophia Sanchez. Chub's family lived near Natchitoches, LA where his father owned and operated a truck farm and sold produce from his country store. He was stationed in the Philippines as an aircraft mechanic in the 13th AAF during WWII and in 1947 was part of an exodus from Louisiana to Jal, NM looking for work. Chub and his two brothers, Alton and Marvin raised families while employed by El Paso Natural Gas Company. He loved to watch the Hit Parade, Red Skelton, Charlie Weaver and the Dallas Cowboys. It seems he left early for a better seat at the Super Bowl. The Fuller family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to Tony and Lynne Blake of the Albuquerque Robin House. Their compassion is beyond measure. Services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2002, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. with Pastor Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, any gifts or memorial contributions may be made for the elderly at the Robin House, 9909 Robin Avenue, 87112, would truly be appreciated.
