Daisy Chavez, 74, was born February 27, 1927 in Seboyeta, NM, where she was also raised. She passed away January 31, 2002 in Albuquerque at Valle Norte Caring center where she received excellent care. Our family would like to thank Valle Norte for their superb care of Daisy. Daisy was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Telesfor; and daughter, Linda. Daisy is survived by her ten children, Donald Chavez and wife, Maryann, Oscar Chavez and wife, Joann, Cynthia Armijo and Steve Griego, Laura Chavez and husband, Joe, Pernetty Salazar and husband, Hector, Joy Trujillo and husband, Jr., Vickie Rodriguez, Patrick Chavez and wife, Valerie, Joe Chavez and wife, Frances, Lisa Jaramillo and husband, Max; son-in-law, Danny Chavez; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Victor; four sisters, Patty, Celia, Gloria, and Carmen; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta, NM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2002 with burial following at Moquino Cemetery in Seboyeta, NM.
