Brown -- Mr. George Bierner Brown, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on January 31, 2002. Mr. Brown is survived by his stepmother, Mary Brown; two daughters, Mary Jane Brown Duran and husband, Dan, Pamela Brown Coates and husband, Frank; seven sisters, Esther Torrez( John), Stella Tafoya and husband, Cruz, Alice McBride and husband, Jim, Kathy Wiggins(Wille), Lee Cassidy (Jim), Lydia Blevins and husband, Bob, Jean Glidewell and husband, Duane; four brothers, Tom Brown and wife, Olaya, Freddie Brown, Robert Brown and wife, Amy, Phillip Brown and wife, Frances; four grandchildren, Daniel Scott Duran, Stephanie Padilla and husband, Rumaldo, Frankie Coates and George Coates; three great-grandchildren, Rumaldo Padilla IV, Michael Padilla, Emmalee Jade Padilla; his beloved Chihuahua, Weezy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Emma; his daughter, Sandra Gail; his parents, AC and Vivianita Brown; his sister, Elsie Brown Chavez; and his brother, Abbie Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a Veteran of the US Army serving during WW II. He participated in the"D" Day invasion of Normandy, survived the assault on Omaha Beach, and was wounded on August 13, 1944, by machine gunfire while still serving in France. He was medically evacuated across the English Channel where he spent 10 months in an Army Hospital. His metals include the Purple Heart, Bronze Battlestar, Infantry Combat Badge and the French Jubilee Medal of Liberty. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with full military honors by the DAV chapter 3. Pallbearers will be Tom Brown, Freddie Brown, Robert Brown, Phillip Brown, Scott Duran and Frankie Coates. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Coates, Cruz Tafoya, Bob Blevins, Jim McBride, Duane Glidewell and Charlie Bierner. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Chavez -- Daisy Chavez, 74, was born February 27, 1927 in Seboyeta, NM, where she was also raised. She passed away January 31, 2002 in Albuquerque at Valle Norte Caring center where she received excellent care. Our family would like to thank Valle Norte for their superb care of Daisy. Daisy was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Telesfor; and daughter, Linda. Daisy is survived by her ten children, Donald Chavez and wife, Maryann, Oscar Chavez and wife, Joann, Cynthia Armijo and Steve Griego, Laura Chavez and husband, Joe, Pernetty Salazar and husband, Hector, Joy Trujillo and husband, Jr., Vickie Rodriguez, Patrick Chavez and wife, Valerie, Joe Chavez and wife, Frances, Lisa Jaramillo and husband, Max; son-in-law, Danny Chavez; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Victor; four sisters, Patty, Celia, Gloria, and Carmen; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta, NM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2002 with burial following at Moquino Cemetery in Seboyeta, NM. Daniels -- Jack Edward Daniels, 45, died on Monday, January 28, 2002 after a sudden illness while enroute to Albuquerque following his mother's Funeral Service. Jack was born on March 30, 1956 in Houston, TX. He was the son of Carl Edward Daniels, Jr. and Dolores Ann Loveland. Jack was reared and received his education in Houston and graduated in 1974 from the Memorial High School. He continued his education and was a student at the University of Alabama and then the University of Texas. Jack made is home in Albuquerque since 1981 and was a member of the Hoffmantown Church. He is survived by his father, Carl E. Daniels, Jr., of Albuquerque; sister, Jill A. Crawford and husband, Richard of Lake Murray, FL; nephew, Daniel Crawford; and niece, Rachel Crawford, both of Lake Murray, FL; maternal grandmother, Eythel Williams Loveland; paternal grandmother, Helen Hamerla Daniels; and uncle, Gene Loveland, all of Bartlesville, OK. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Gene Daniels, June 20, 1998 and his mother, Dolores A. Daniels, January 17, 2002. Private family interment will take place in Bartlesville, OK.

Fuller -- Andra Lee Fuller, "Chub," 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1984, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002. Chub was born June 13, 1923 in Pascagula, MS to Rufus Atwood Fuller and Christine Alameda Dove. He is survived by his brother, Alton of Lake Travis, TX and his wife of 58 years, Annie Lee Moreau; four sons, John, Drew, Steve and Mark; daughter, Ginger MacLamore, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Kory, Jesi, Jeni, Sarah, Eric MacLamore and Angela MacLamore Sanchez; and one great-grandchild, little Sophia Sanchez. Chub's family lived near Natchitoches, LA where his father owned and operated a truck farm and sold produce from his country store. He was stationed in the Philippines as an aircraft mechanic in the 13th AAF during WWII and in 1947 was part of an exodus from Louisiana to Jal, NM looking for work. Chub and his two brothers, Alton and Marvin raised families while employed by El Paso Natural Gas Company. He loved to watch the Hit Parade, Red Skelton, Charlie Weaver and the Dallas Cowboys. It seems he left early for a better seat at the Super Bowl. The Fuller family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to Tony and Lynne Blake of the Albuquerque Robin House. Their compassion is beyond measure. Services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2002, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. with Pastor Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Garcia -- Carlota Romero Garcia, 83, a former resident of Las Vegas, NM for many years, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Ofene A. Garcia; daughters, Juanita Lucero and husband, Dan of Albuquerque and Gloria Solis and husband, Gilbert of Hollister, CA; grandsons, Gary and Joanne Lucero of Albuquerque and Dennis Solis of Farmington; great-grandchildren, Gary Lucero, Jr., Elizabeth Lujan and Phillip Lujan; and great-great-grandchildren, Genevieve Lujan and Sandra Lujan. Carlota was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Juanita Romero; brother, Elias Romero; sister, Marcia Romero Casias; and granddaughter, Brenda Lujan. She married her husband Ofene on October 10, 1942 in Las Vegas, NM. Gutierrez -- Mr. Bonifacio Gutierrez was born in La Jara, NM. June 22, 1929 and died in Albuquerque at the age of 72. Bonifacio was retired from Duke City Lumber. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a Guadalupano with special ministry to the sick and homebound. Bonifacio was a wonderful, generous man who loved God dearly and spent his life doing and giving to others. He will be missed very much by all who loved him. Mr. Gutierrez was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Gutierrez; mother, Lorenzita Valdez; brothers, Adonay Gutierrez, and Manuel Gutierrez; brother-in-law, Tony Duran; sisters, Grace Duran, Quinteria Maestas and Albertina Lucero. he is survived by his wife, Eva Gutierrez; sons, Jimmy Gutierrez and wife, Monica, Daniel Gutierrez and wife, Francine; stepsons, Jose Arellano, William Arellano; special nephew, Ricardo Duran; daughters, Bonnie Roybal and husband, Jake, Bernadette Borders and husband, Ellis, Elizabeth Nellums and husband, Isaac; stepdaughters, Angelina Rodriguez and husband, Adolfo, Barbara Dominguez and husband, Dennis, Vera Maldonado and husband, Rafael, Arabella Gonzales and husband, Rogelio; and and honorary daughter, Patsy Montoya. Henderlight -- Eve W. Henderlight, wife of James W. Henderlight for 54 years and a resident of Albuquerque for 42 years, passed away at Presbyterian Hospital, Sunday, January 27, 2002. She is to be cremated and will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with her son, Robert. A Memorial Service is pending. Hollister -- Ernest B. "Bud" Hollister passed away January 30, 2002 at the age of 82. He and his wife of 52 years, Arline, relocated to Albuquerque from Fremont, MI on January 6, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Arline; son, Todd Hollister of Albuquerque and Paul Hollister of Green Bay, WI; daughter, Pamela Carpenter and her husband, Scott of Holland, MI; grandchildren, Sgt. Matthew Hollister and his wife, Elizabeth of Ft. Lewis, WA and Emily Carpenter of Holland, MI. Mr. Hollister was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 4, 1919. He graduated from Garden City High School in Long Island, NY and served in the Army during WWII in Germany. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, in 1947. He was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He worked for 37 years as a project manager for Turner Construction Co. in Manhattan, NY retiring in 1985. He and Mrs. Hollister relocated from Locust Valley, Long Island to Fremont, MI before moving to Albuquerque. Bud was a lifelong lover of music and the arts, and especially enjoyed choral singing. He was active in church and his community choirs most of his life. He was very involved in the churches he attended and was a devout Christian and lifelong Episcopalian. The family is particularly grateful for his example of faith and love for all people. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, Sullivan Ave., Fremont, MI 49412. A Funeral Service with Eucharist will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church on Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sandra Bess, officiating. Massey -- Aubrey Lee Massey passed away January 26, 2002. He was born October 3, 1918 in Turkey, TX to Arthur and Imogene (Pinkerton) Massey. After living in various other places, he moved with his family to Roswell, NM in 1929. He married Billie F. Millsap on September 9, 1939. He is preceded in death by his parents; an older brother, Milburn Massey; and an older sister, Doris Daniel. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Billie; sons, Don Massey and his wife, Denise, Randy Massey and his wife, Kathy and Rick Massey; brothers, Walt Massey and his wife, Rusty and Wally Massey and his wife, Betty; and younger sister, Jean Prince and husband, George; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Massey served in the U.S. Navy SeaBees during WWII and was stationed at Midway. He was in the automobile and RV business for more than 50 years. He lived in Roswell for 56 years before moving to Albuquerque 16 years ago. A Memorial Service will be held at his church, the Northeast Church of Christ, 11000 Paseo del Norte NE, Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, February 2, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. Mcmahon -- Rena B. McMahon, 93, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Wednesday, January 23, 2002. She is survived by her son, James E. McMahon of Bosque Farms; sister, Lena Scheier of Silver City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. McMahon was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. McMahon; and daughter, Catherine McMahon. She taught school in Harding County, NM and Santo Domingo Indian School for many years until retiring in 1973. Mrs. McMahon was a member of the National Education Association, New Mexico Education Retirees and New Mexico Extension Service. She was also a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Peralta where she served in the Alter Society. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, in Peralta, NM, with Monsignor Fred Stadtmueller, Celebrant. Interment will take place at 3:00 p.m., at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Raton, NM. Pallbearers will be Steve Menefee, Steve Scholl, Tom Bonomo, Paul Bonomo, Rob Bonomo and Jim Willis. Honorary pallbearer will be Anselmo Cordova. Morgan -- Grace K. Morgan, 95, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died Friday, February 1, 2002. She is survived by her son, Thomas Morgan of Albuquerque; daughter, Stephanie McMullen and husband, Bill of Ruidoso; and special friends, Mary Rios, Angie Stuckman and Paullette Dutel. Mrs. Morgan was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She served three summers in the Teacher Corps in Africa. Onstott -- J.W. (Wayne) Onstott, age 68, of Portales, NM died Thursday morning, January 31, 2002 at the Heartland Continuing Care Center in Portales. He was born February 18, 1933 in Portales, to the home of Juanita and Barto Onstott. Mr. Onstott lived in Portales as a boy. While in Jr. high school, he played football. He moved to Floyd, NM as a teenager. In 1951, he began working for what was then known as Mountain Bell Telephone. Later that same year, on October 13 in Portales, he married Orene Barbee. Mr. Onstott worked for the telephone company for 31-1/2 years, retiring in 1983. During those years he was a Supervisor in the Raton and the Albuquerque offices, as well as in other locations. Following his retirement from the phone co., he and his wife purchased the College Cleaners in Portales. In 1985, he became a Realtor, and in 1988 he earned his broker's license. He had been retired since 1998 due to his failing health. He kept his interest in sports all of his life, and for many years pitched on a fast pitch softball team. On January 21, 1995 he was inducted into the Softball Association Hall of Fame. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially loved horses and riding all of his life. Mr. Onstott obeyed the Gospel on March 4, 1996 and was a faithful member of the Third and Kilgore Church of Christ in Portales. He is survived by his wife, Orene of their home; two sons, Garry Onstott and his wife, Kathleen of Santa Fe, and Dolye Onstott and his wife, Cindi of Portales; five grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Juanita Onstott of Portales; a sister, Gail Essary of Alamogordo, NM; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Barto Onstott; a brother, Tommy Lee Onstott; and by a grandson, Greg Onstott. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2002 at the Third and Kilgore Church of Christ in Portales. David Bennett, minister for the church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Portales Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marshall Durham, Gene Weems, Ken Bedinger, Joe Apace, Bill Essary and Randy Burnett. His former softball team members will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
