Martinez -- Helen J. Martinez, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 05, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Harold A. Martinez of the family home; son, Luis Schimmel and wife, Eileen, of Dallas, TX; daughters, Victoria Martinez-Saiz and husband, Juan, of Albuquerque, and Ruth A. Mcintosh -- Ralph Vinson McIntosh, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, died at the age of 87 in Show Low, Arizona on August 27, 2001. Ralph called"Mac," was born in Ashland, Kentucky on October 18, 1913. He moved to Albuquerque in 1920 with his family. His parents and three siblings preceded him in death: Mildred Thompson, Sue Freidank, and John McIntosh. Mac served in the United States Navy during World War II aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Card, in the Atlantic. Following the war, he worked in a variety of positions. He was an auto mechanic, a projectionist in movie theaters in downtown Albuquerque, and he built clinics in outlying New Mexico communities for the Public Health Foundation. He went to work for General Services Administration at Sandia Base Hospital, then the Federal Building downtown. In 1972, Mac retired as GSA Buildings Manager for the southwest area. He moved to Arizona in 1975. Mac is survived by his wife, Helen and her children: Chase Congable, Michael Congable and wife Kathy, Quill Congable and wife Judy, Stacey Marr and husband Kevin. Mac is survived by his children: Alice Vogel and husband Mike, Stuart McIntosh and wife Julie, as well as 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. There was a mutual affection between Mac and the young people he loved to instruct and encourage. Cremation has taken place in Show Low, Arizona, according to Helen and Mac's wishes. Mac also requested there be no service. In memory of Mac, his family asks that you enjoy something in nature, fix the unrepairable, invent the unimaginable, and keep dreams alive.

Sedillo -- Mrs. Senaida (Sadie) Schubert Sedillo, 90, died peacefully at home in the company of her family on September 5, 2001. Mrs. Sedillo was born on April 23, 1911 in Santa Cruz, NM to Federico Schubert and Eloisa Gonzales-Schubert. She was raised in Tajique, NM by Luis and Eslinda Gonzales. It was here that she met and married her late husband, Pedro (Pete) Sedillo on November 3, 1928. The family of five moved to Albuquerque in 1945 where she gained employment with Sandia Laboratories and later retired in 1970. Sadie returned to Tajique with her husband and remained there until the death of her husband shortly after celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary in 1992. In addition to her husband who preceded her in death, is her son/grandson Freddie J. Sedillo; her daughter, Antonia Sedillo; her grandsons, Benjamin Torrez and Alex Muller; and her son-in-law, Lorenzo Torrez. Surviving her is her son, Pedro (Pete) Sedillo Jr. and wife, Christine; one daughter, Pricilla Torrez and friend, Joe Gonzales; four grandsons, John Torrez, Frank Sedillo, Joel Sedillo and Peter Sedillo III; three granddaughters, Ruby Sandoval and husband Tom, Loretta Smith and husband, Pete, Joylynn Perea and husband, Victor; 11 great-grandsons, Tommy Sandoval Jr. and wife, Beth, Martin Sedillo and wife, Rhonda, Christopher Sedillo and wife, Gerry, Jonathan Sedillo, Benjamin Sedillo BJ Sedillo, Christopher Smith, Matthew Smith, Peter Sedillo IV, John Jacob Torrez and Joshua Perea; four great-granddaughters, Veronica Perea, Amanda Torrez, Nicole Sedillo, Joanne Sandoval-Castillo and several great-great- grandchildren. Two surviving sisters, Helen Ledesma and Sally Arevalo of CA; her beloved niece Cheryl Vasquez and husband, Joe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; several Hospice nurses and in home caretakers and beloved friend, Lillian Perea of Chihuahua, Mexico as well as many beloved friends and neighbors from the Estancia Valley and Albuquerque. Sadie was a member of the San Antonio Catholic Church in Tajique, NM. By request Deacon Juan Lucero will officiate the Communion Service on Monday morning, September 10, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. in the San Antonio Church in Tajique and Mary Gonzales will recited the Rosary Friday evening September 7, 2001 at 7:00 in the Church of the Ascension, 2105 Raymac, SW. Visitation for the Rosary will be begin at 6:30 p.m. Sadie's ashes will be interred beside her husbands in the San Antonio Cemetery in Tajique, NM. Pallbearers will be Richard Sanchez, Michael Moya, Joe Vasquez, Tom Sandoval, Pete Smith, Martin, Chris, Nicole, Jonathan Pete IV and Benjamin Sedillo, Joe and Larry Gonzales, BJ Sedillo, Larry Herrera and Al Hernandez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW in charge of arrangements.Don't think of her as gone away, her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets, this earth is only one; just think of her as resting, from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years; think how she must be wishing, that we could know today, how nothing but our sadness, can really pass away;...and think of her as living, in the hearts of those she touched...., for nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.

Wegrzyn -- Lorraine Theresa Helen Wilk. Born on April 5, 1929 in Chicago, IL; died on September 2, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph V; and her daughters, Diana Gualpa (Simon), Lydia Klima (Clement); grand daughter, Carolyn Klima; also by brother-in-law, Steve Stawczyk (Gerry); and cousins; nieces; nephews; and friends residing in Illinois. Also by Robert (Little Brother) and Olga (Little Sister) Barela. Lorraine has been a wonderful and deeply Christ loving person, and her joyful outlook on life was contagious to family and friends. Lorraine and her husband, Joe of 53 years, were a loving and caring couple and she enjoyed her two daughters and granddaughter. God bless you sweetheart, and may you be one of His angels. Lorraine will be Cremated and Memorial Service will be held at home on September 12, 2001, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Adams -- John A. Adams, Jr., longtime resident of Jemez Springs and Rio Rancho, passed away August 25, 2001. He was born in Albuquerque March 27, 1915, to John A. Adams and Helen Belle Shields. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lucille; and three children, Tom Adams and wife, Pat of Missoula, Montana, John A. Adams III of Albany, Georgia, and devoted daughter, Lucille Adams Dillon, and John Dillon of Taos, NM. He is survived by two brothers, Paul Adams of Jemez Springs, and Fred Adams of Albuquerque. Additional survivors include two grandchildren, Chris Adams and wife, Korina, Kathy Adams, their mother, Frocene; and three great-grandchildren, Sloane, Mackenzie, and Debra Schock and son. John spent his career as a civil engineer with 39 years of service in the U.S. Forest Service. He was a lifetime conservationist. He was a lifetime member of the Jemez Community Presbyterian Church, Jemez Springs, NM, which was founded by his grandfather, Rev. John M. Shields. He was an American Society of Civil Engineers, awarded Fellow and Lifetime Member of Elks Lodge #461. He also served in the Army Corps of Engineers and the Army Reserve. A Memorial Service will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Jemez Springs, NM on Saturday, September 1, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Presbyterian Church in Jemez Springs.

Rich -- Funeral Services for Barbara "Bobi" Theresa Rich, 65, of Gallup, NM will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2001 at the Memorial Mass-Sacred Heart Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Jim Walker officiating. Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Tuesday, September 4, 2001 2:00 p.m. She died on August 28, 2001 at Albuquerque, NM. She was born on December 19, 1935 at Gallup, NM. She graduated from Cathedral High. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and visiting with family and friends. A Memorial Rosary was held on Friday August, 31, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. She is survived by her husband The Honorable Judge, Joseph Rich of Gallup, NM; daughter, Lauren Rich of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son, Joseph Rich, Jr. of Farmington, NM; daughter, Amy Rich of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Paula Rich of Albuquerque, NM; son, Stephen Rich of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Louis Edward DePauli of Gallup, NM; sisters, Mary Ann Roveda of Gallup, NM, Peggy Marsh of Grants, NM and Elieen Adcock of Gallup, NM. She is also survived by three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Tulio DePauli; mother, Helen DePauli; brother, John J. DePauli.
