DRESSER -- Billie Dresser, age 60, a resident of Tijeras, NM, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Dresser of Tijeras, NM; two sons, Eric Peterson and wife, Stephanie of Albuquerque, NM and Christopher Peterson of Idaho; grandchildren, Taylor Peterson of Albuquerque, NM and Gage Peterson of Idaho; stepsons, Darren Dresser of Seattle, WA and Bryan Dresser of Osan, Korea. She is also survived by a sister, Bobbie Black of Alberta, Canada; brother George Yarbrough of Lakeland, FL.; sisters, Maria and Marta Ramano of Taos, NM; brothers, Luis Ramano, Allen and Harold Amrine of Colorado; aunts, Bek Metzgar of Albuquerque, NM and Trudy Tafoya of Taos, NM; uncle, Eloy Trujillo of Taos, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and family friend, Priscilla Anton, of Albuquerque. EICHERT -- Frederich Frank Eichert, Jr. passed away on October 13, 2005 peacefully at home surrounded by his family, following a long battle with lung cancer. He was born on January 15, 1921 in Los Angeles, CA to Frederich and Bernadette Ouelette Eichert. He married Scotty Page in 1944; she preceded him in death in 2000 following 52 years of marriage. Fred graduated from Riverside High School and attended Santa Monica Jr. College and UCLA. He worked in management at Douglas Aircraft Company in Santa Monica for eight years, it was during his employment at Douglas Aircraft where he met and married Scotty. He later worked for 34 years in management of Electro-Mechanical Design and Drafting at Sandia Lab in Albuquerque, NM and Livermore, CA. He served on national and international committees relating to engineering and drafting presenting the first US papers on the subject at an International meeting in Moscow in 1967. Fred was involved in many community service organizations; he served as president of the Cerebral Palsey Association of New Mexico and with the United Fund Drive at Sandia Labs. He was active in his church activities for many years, serving as a deacon and treasurer for the University of New Mexico Bible Chair and the Albuquerque Children's Home. In 1988, Fred and Scotty retired in Davis where they could be near their son and his family. He compassionately cared for Scotty for several years following a stroke. Many people will fondly remember Mr. Eichert for his ability to make people smile. He is survived by his son, Bill Eichert (Jeane) of Davis, CA; two grandchildren, Will (Liza) of Occidental, CA and Laura (Mike) of Texas; four great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Shonni, Trey and Nathan who were each very special to him; his sister, Barbara Saxton of Henderson, NV; nieces, Nancy Dehemmer and Susan Paradise; and nephew Bill Gleason; three great-grandnephews; and two great-grandneices. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Bill; and daughter, Patricia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Davis Funeral Chapel located at 116 D St with a visitation one hour prior to services. MONTOYA -- Abran Montoya went to be with our Father in Heaven on October 13, 2005. He served in the U.S. Army and was a carpenter by trade. He loved the Lord and reading the Bible. He always made sure to pray for his family and friends. He also encouraged education to all his family. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Olivia Gonzales; son, Julian Montoya; Mother and Father Terecita, and Ricardo Montoya; and his brothers, Joe Montoya, Orlando Montoya, and Bonifacio Montoya. He is survived by his wife, Margarita Montoya; daughters, Rita Montoya of California, Cecilia Jaramillo of Bernalillo and Georgina and husband, Archie Valencia of Bernalillo; sons Telesfor (Paul) Montoya, Gene Montoya, Nick Montoya, Richard Montoya, and Leonard Montoya; brothers Richard (Lalo) Montoya of Bernalillo; several grand, great and great-great grandchildren; and several extended family and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday October 17, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alameda Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 18, 2005, at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Father Bill Sanchez. DUNN -- Robert Richard Dunn, 38, born in Albuquerque; prospered and met his true-love in Amarillo, TX died October 7, 2005 of an apparent heart attack in Amarillo. Robbie, as he was known by family and friends, will be remembered as one who would give whatever he had to whoever needed what he had or could get. Full of life and deep-seated love, Robbie and his fiancee, Nichelle Burns, were to be married this winter and planned on having "a really big family." Robbie was a self-taught computer/electronics expert with a gift and love for music. He helped organize and performed with January's Little Joke, a local band that performed in and around Albuquerque during the early 1990s. Robbie is survived by his mother, Ann Corn of Henderson, NV; father, JW Dunn and stepmother, Margaret of Layton, OK; step-father, James Corn and his mother "Grandma" Jeanne Corn of Albuquerque; sister, Leigh Anne Corn of Henderson; brother, Jason Dunn of Irvine, CA; sister, Jessica Dunn of Lawton, OK; sister, Kelli Hennessee of Lawton; brother, Jared Dunn of Lawton, OK; grandparents, Bill and Maureen Dunn of Jourdanton, TX; great-uncle, Jimel Barrack of Albuquerque; uncle and aunt, Richard and Linda Geha of Albuquerque; aunt and uncle, Kathy and Ken Gibson of Arlington, TX; aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Charlie Cropper of San Antonio, TX; plus numerous loving cousins, as well as his true love, Nichelle Burns and her family. OLDFIELD -- Infant Ryken Doc Oldfield, age 3 1/2 months, son of Lindsay and Ryan Oldfield, passed away unexpectedly Monday October 10, 2005. Surviving besides his parents are his big brother, Roan Chism Oldfield; his maternal grandmother, Lynn Hill and husband, Russ, of Hobbs; paternal grandparents, Ron Oldfield of Los Lunas and Geneva Oldfield of Albuquerque; great-grandparents, Betty Chism of Hobbs and Leland and Ida Mae Oldfield of Albuquerque; aunts, Rhonda Kimbell and husband, Ross, of Lubbock, TX and Lesley Chism of Hobbs, NM; and many great uncles, aunts, and cousins. PIERSON -- Linda L. of Albuquerque, NM, age 52. Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, best friend, and teacher commenced her new life with God on Sunday October 2, 2005. Linda resided in her home town of Albuquerque, NM since 1962. Linda attended St. Theresa and St. Mary's Catholic Schools in her youth, graduated from Valley High School, and obtained her teaching degree from UNM. Linda's love and 28 years of dedication was in teaching the young children at Laguna/Acoma Highschool and Los Lunas Middle School before retiring last year in June 2004. Linda will forever be remembered for her servitude and loyalty to the many customers she graciously served at Helen's and Sunny's Hallmark Stores. Linda is held in loving memory by her mother, Gladys Pierson; her father, Bill Pierson; her seven younger siblings; several nieces and nephews; best friends; and her rabbit, Benjamin. A beautiful woman with a heart of gold, Linda is home now and reunited with her companions Morris the Cat, Buffy, and Jake her dogs.
