PERRY -- KAROL YVETTE PERRY. It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Karol Yvette Perry on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 in Albuquerque, NM from cancer complications. She was 42 years old. Yvette was an Aerospace Software Engineer. Her expertise extended from the F-15 to the Space Shuttle. She was an avid gardener with talented landscaping skills. She enjoyed woodworking and photography. Throughout her life, Yvette was a skilled and gifted Athlete. She attended schools in Yuba City, CA and graduated from Ben Eielson High School in Fairbanks, AK in 1981. She earned a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Cal State, Long Beach and accomplished initial research in Graphics User Interface. Her parents, Bill and Karol Perry and brother, Ken Perry and wife, survive her. A private family service was held at St. Chad's Church Episcopal on Saturday, October 29, 2005. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends, old and new, but cherished all. Yvette strongly loved the time she spent with her four dogs Neil, Chewy, Rue, and Kia. Memorial donations may be made to a charitable organization of choice.

SARRACINO -- Mario (David) Sarracino, 32, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 25, 2005. David is survived by his loving mother. Bertha Sarracino and his father, Mario D. Sarracino. He is also survived by his children, Tatiana Sophia Sarracino and Mariano (Mario) Sarracino; one sister, Jaylene Sarracino and husband, Corey Wright; grandparents, Sophie Turrietta and Josephine (Fita) Sarracino; uncles, Lou Turrietta and wife, Lorraine, Vince Turrietta and wife, Donna and Leonard Turrietta; one aunt, Beth Turrietta; one niece, Majalene Wright; one nephew, Julian Wright; many cousins and friends. David was a member of the Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Pius High School, 1991. A visitation for David will be Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Tibo Chavez. A final visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Bill Sanchez. Pallbearers will be Mike Ligori, Aaron Bennett, Charles Chavez, Martin McCoy, Josh Narciso and Pat Rowly. Private disposition will take place following the services. GARRETT -- J.A. Garrett, USN (RET), a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Thursday, October 20, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathryn Garrett; three children, Michele Lopez and husband, Richard of Albuquerque, Susan Garrett of Twentynine Palms, CA, and Michael Garrett and wife, Jennifer of Heath, TX; eight grandchildren, Scott Green, Kathryn Green, Leann Lopez, Jessica Green, Emily Garrett, Eric Lopez, Timothy Garrett, and Charlotte Garrett; brother, Howard Garrett and wife, Pauline of Prairie Grove, AR; sister, Nova Brewer and husband, Bill of Ogden, UT; his favorite dog, Rocky; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Cora Garrett and three brothers and two sisters. J.A. was born in Jasper, AR. He served in the United States Navy until his retirement in 1968. J.A. worked as a manager at Standard Brands Paint Company until his retirement. He loved to garden and enjoyed his grandchildren. J.A. was a loving husband, beloved father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. NORRIS -- William F. Norris June 8, 1918 - October 20, 2005 Bill was born at the end of World War I in Altoona, PA, and lost his father when he was only 8. He was sent to Catholic boarding school in Linton, VA and then attended Pennsylvania Normal School as a young man. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Philippines. His beloved wife of 55 years, Freda, preceded him in death in 1998. Bill and Freda lived a nomadic life until they settled in Scottsdale in the 1950s where Bill oversaw maintenance duties at Ride N Rock Rancho for many years. From there they moved to West Palm Beach in the 1960s where he managed the Palm Beach Spa maintenance until his retirement. Three years after his beloved wife Freda died, Bill moved to New Mexico to live with his daughter, Diana and son-in-law, Dermod Kelleher. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Brann Kelleher of Colorado, Blair Kelleher and wife, Faith of Maryland, and Kieran Kelleher of Colorado; and one great grandchild, Dorsey Kelleher. His grandchildren cherish memories of him playing with their bantam rooster, Rudy, the many fishing trips he went on with the family, and his quirky sense of humor. During Desert Storm he kept his eldest grandson supplied with various sundries and contraband which he mailed to Saudi Arabia. In June of 2005, a celebration of his 87th birthday took place in Corrales, NM and was attended by his many friends in that town. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at the family home in Corrales on Sunday, from 2 - 4 p.m., 111 Cottonwood Rd., Corrales, NM. WINEGAR -- Donna Lucille Winegar, 57, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday October 19, 2005. DENTON -- Darrell Drew of Collinsville, OK (69) born April 1, 1936, died in the early morning of October 14th 2005, after a short illness. Darrell went to be with Our Lord. Darrell was a Husband and Good Dad, an avid Horseman and was in the RV sales for the last 30 years. His was preceded in death by his parents Drew & Glades Denton of Albuquerque, NM. BROWN -- Harold "Pete" Brown, age 98, of Albuquerque, died Friday, October 14, 2005 at a local nursing home. He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Bernitsky and husband, Anthony of Albuquerque, NM; son-in-law, Donald Anderson of El Paso, TX.; grandchildren, Doctors David and wife, Gay Bernitsky, Ann and husband, Steve Beddingfield all of Albuquerque, NM; Judy Campos and husband, Col. Mario Campos of San Antonio, TX.; Bill Anderson of El Paso, TX.; Bob Anderson and wife, Adriana of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Will, Alex, and Laura Bernitsky; Carly and Michael Beddingfield; Maryann and Mario, Jr. Campos. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Brown; daughter, Sandra Anderson; and grandson, Steven Bernitsky. Mr. Brown managed movie theaters in Albuquerque and was also employed by the Albuquerque Publishing Company. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club and a member of Central United Methodist Church. He loved sports and was an avid Lobo fan. Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual NE, 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 20, 2005.
