ATTU -- Mary Attu, 64. Born September 12, 1940 to Darlyne and Richard Hoffman of Crystal, MN. Died in New Mexico August 31, 2005. She now walks with the creator. Mary was a woman of spirit, creativity, integrity, peace and generosity. A teacher, artist, mother, grandmother, and friend to many; her kindness will be missed. As an artist, she called herself a "container" maker; baskets, medicine bags, key chains, and spirit dolls. They were often gifted by her, to complete strangers. Mary taught at Willmar Vocational school, which is now, Ridgewater College. While Married to Dave Schodean they had a farm east of town, raised chickens, cultured sod, hydroponic tomatoes, bedding plants. The greenhouse was named "Willow Crest Magic Gardens" and both attended Calvary Lutheran Church. She is survived by her birth children; Karen Shodean, Wayne Johnson, Jon Shodean, and her "bonus" children Major Lisa Shodean and Jeff Shodean. CISNEROS -- MANUELITA. Mrs. Manuelita Cisneros, 70, a resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away on October 18, 2005 peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Cisneros is the beloved wife to Mr. Frank Cisneros, married for 43 years. Mrs. Cisneros is also survived by her loving children, Margaret Martinez, Frank Cisneros Jr., Evangeline Cisneros and Dutch Dibble, Corinne Cisneros, Ray Cisneros and wife, Bernice; one sister, Jessie Valdez; five grandchildren, Maria Elena, Julianna, Felicia, Samantha and Ashley; one great-grandson, Alexzander; one aunt, Lena Hernandez and husband, Victorio; one nephew, Eddie Hernandez and wife, Oralia; one niece, Irene; many other extended family and friends. Mrs. Cisneros was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Cisneros will be Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome, NM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Lorenzo Castillo. A final visitation will be Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome, with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Hernandez. CROW -- Faye Crow passed away on October 16, 2005, at the age of 86. She was born in Greenbrier, AR on February 25, 1919 and spent most of her life in Albuquerque, NM. In 2003 she moved to Surprise, AZ, so she would be closer to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim L. Crow, and is survived by her two daughters, Toni (husband, Frank) Masterson and Tomi (husband, Jim) Medlock; four sisters, Ethel Burkett, Rosa Lee De Wald, Lee Robinson, and Mary Richardson; her five grandchildren (Tami, Colleen, Dawn, Kara, Jason); and her five great-grandchildren (Autumn, Sydney, Kennedy, Jack and Emma). While she didn't possess the titles and accomplishments that the world would see as significant, she did possess the titles that meant everything to those who knew her: Maboy, Mom, Aunt Faye, and friend. The friendships she made and the hospitality she showed will be remembered through the many lives she touched. She never needed much and gave as much as she could. She was a simple yet complex woman and will be missed by all those who came to know and love her. DENTON -- Darrell Drew of Collinsville, OK (69) born April 1, 1936, died in the early morning of October 14th 2005, after a short illness. Darrell went to be with Our Lord. Darrell was a Husband and Good Dad, an avid Horseman and was in the RV sales for the last 30 years. His was preceded in death by his parents Drew & Glades Denton of Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by wife, Jorgia of Collinsville OK; his brother, Buddy & wife, Charlotte Denton of T or C, NM; children Wanda Lynn & husband, Bill Shifflet of Staffard OK, Daniel Drew Denton and wife, Bobbie of Albuquerque NM, James Edward Denton of Los Chavez NM, Darrell Dean & wife, Lisa Denton of Owasso OK; Step Daughters Lisa Baker & Selise Stadler husband, Dave of Dallas TX; and 5 grandchildren Katie, David, Deanna, Brandon, Steven. HARDEKOPF -- Celia M. Hardekopf, 57, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005 following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jim; children, Christopher of Albuquerque, Ben of Austin, TX, and Laura and husband, Paul Rucker and son, Clark of Belen; mother, Sarah Mullane; and sisters, Carolyn Price and Kathy Romine; and brother, Jim Mullane, all of Florida. Celia was a wonderful and devoted wife and mother, enthusiastic and cheerful. She loved people and teaching. Celia was a Navy spouse and taught in various places prior to moving to Albuquerque in 1992. She earned her doctorate in education from the University of NM in 1997. She was a loving and giving person and will greatly missed. In her last years she faced her chronic debilitating illness with bravery and determination. HARMON -- Muriel "Mimi" Bolles Harmon, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother ascended to her Lord and Savior Sunday, September 11, 2005. She was born in the Missouri Ozarks on May 3, 1922, came to Albuquerque in 1937, and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1941. Mimi was a member of the Albuquerque Little Theater as well as a model. She then joined the Navy WAVES in May 1943 where she served until May 1946. Mimi remained active with the WAVES as a member and social chair of the local Roadrunner Unit of Albuquerque. She also was a member of the American Legion, Post 13. Mimi retired from the state of New Mexico - Child Support Enforcement Division, where she worked for over 15 years. She was able to get a city park named after her father, Laurens C. Bolles in the Northeast Heights. She is survived by her son, Roger Scussel; twin daughters, Lucienne Brewer and Suzanne Dionne, all of New Braunfels, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Alan Bolles of Apache Junction, AZ; and one niece and three nephews. Memorial Services will be held at Veterans Memorial Park on Louisiana Blvd. in Albuquerque on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial contributions in loving memory of Muriel Harmon to the Salvation Army to help the hurricane survivors.

KITE -- John W. Kite, 81, passed away October 13, 2005. He is survived by his brother, James Kite and his wife, Marcella; his six children, John Barry Kite and his wife, Peggy, Roger Kite and his wife, Diana, Kenneth Kite, Lindsey Kite and his wife, Alyson, Kelley Kite, Tamra Kite and her husband, Marty Richardson. John is also survived by his six grandchildren, Roger Kite II, Kristofor Kite and his wife, Karen, Sonya Kite, Regina and her husband, Stewart O'Challaghan, Elizabeth Kite, Donovan Kite and his wife, Christy. John also had boasting rights to great-grandchildren, Preston Kite and John Paul Kite. John was preceded in death by his wife Elfrieda "Geri" Kite. John established Kite Optical in 1973. With the help of his wife Geri and sons Lindsey and Kelley, they provided for the wholesale optical needs of optometrists throughout the state of New Mexico. John later sold Kite optical and retired in 1997. John was a World War II veteran. John was a generous man, a good husband and father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His keen ability to detect when the wind was blowing will be sorely missed. God speed and say hello to Geri for us. We will miss you. LUCERO -- Sigfredo T. Lucero, age 81, died Monday, October 17, 2005 at a local nursing home. He is survived by his children, Pearl Lucero of Los Angeles, CA, David Lucero of Austin, TX, and Yolanda Lucero of Hood River, OR; and their mother, Carmelita Lucero of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by five sisters, Gloria Fajardo, Nena Maduena, Josie Mar, Linda Buckley, and Barbara Lucero; all of Stockton, CA; a brother; Tony Lucero of Placitas, NM. Mr. Lucero also has three granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews that meant a great deal to him. Sigfredo was preceded in death by Juan A. and Josephita T. Lucero; brother, John Lucero; and sisters, Carmen, Cano and Elsie Clark. He was loved by his many cousins and friends. Mr. Lucero enjoyed horseback riding, cooking, dancing and Mariachi music. He has a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II and the in South Pacific Theater. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Life Celebration Service will be held at the San Antonio de las Huertas Land Grant Chapel and Cemetery located on Camino Buena Vistas in Placitas, NM, at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2005. MARTINEZ -- Octavio Martinez, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 16, 2005. He was born Tuesday, September 25, 1928 in Houston, TX to Octavio and Cruz Morales Martinez. He is survived by his mother, Cruz; his children, Teresa, Michael, David Lee, Jacqueline, Jerrilene; and his grandchildren, Justin, David Michael, and Matthew. Octavio was preceded by his father, Octavio; his brother, Rudy; and his sister, Alma. He graduated from UCLA in 1956 with a BS in Engineering. Through the course of his career he was a successful engineer and executive becoming a CEO of several high tech manufacturing corporations. He was a loving father of five children. Octavio enjoyed cooking and politics. He lived life fully, with a sense of pragmatism, humor, and kindness. Octavio retired to Albuquerque in 1999. Rosary will be recited Thursday, October 20, 2005, 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 21, 2005, 10 a.m., at Forest Park-Lawndale Funeral Home, Houston, TX. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 23, 2005, 3:00 p.m. at Octavio's home in Albuquerque, NM. MOYA -- Ramon G. Moya, a longtime resident of Old Town, passed away at the age of 88 on Tuesday, October 18, 2005. Ramon served in the United States Armed Forces and was an Army Veteran, having served in WWII. He was then a Civil Service Retiree from Kirtland Air Force Base. Ramon was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Sylvia and son, Joseph. He is survived by his loving children, Roger and wife, Mary of Highland, CA, Gilbert and wife, Josie of Henderson, NV, Raymond Jr. and wife, Veronica of Las Cruces, NM, and Jennie and husband, Joe of Albuquerque, NM; eight grandchildren, Shelly, Stephanie, JimmyRay, Melissa, Marissa, Adrianna, Roxanne, and Erika; four great-grandchildren, Lorena, Marcus, Aliyah, and Adrianna. ROBINSON -- Arnold, 75, Chairman of the Board of DeVore Aviation Corporation of America, died peacefully on October 10, 2005, his family at his side. Born October 27, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY, Arnold received his Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering degree in 1951 from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and his Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering in 1955 from the Drexel Institute of Technology. Prior to joining DeVore Aviation Corp. in 1960 as principal partner, Arnold worked for Republic Aviation (Farmingdale, NY), the United States Navy (Pennsylvania) and Omega Aircraft Corporation (New Bedford, MA). Conducting business throughout the world with Devore, Arnold traveled to Moscow, Japan, Taiwan, Paris, Spain, Portugal and London. In 1980, he moved to Albuquerque with his family, relocating DeVore Aviation's engineering offices and manufacturing facilities from New York and California. Arnold retired as President of DeVore in 2000. Arnold was an Associate Fellow (member since 1949) of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and a Gold Circle Member (since 1958) of The American Helicopter Society (AHS). He was a registered professional engineer in New York, Florida and Pennsylvania. He also served as Treasurer ('89) and President ('91) for the New Mexico Entrepreneurs Association, assisting fellow entrepreneurs and small business owners. "Arnie" and his wife enjoyed traveling at home and abroad. They shared a special love of the Tuscan region in Italy, an area they re-visited many times. San Francisco was one of their favorite cities, where they had an apartment for several years. Arnie had a passion for art, particularly Japanese prints. He enjoyed music, ballet and theater, which paired well with his love of fine food and a good bottle of wine. Arnold is survived by his wife of 51 years, Trudy Leah Robinson; his sons, Barry Robinson (daughter in law, Nancy Ava Miller) of Edgewood, NM. and Sandy Robinson (daughter in law, Antonette TL Robinson) of Portland, OR.; his daughter, Lisa Robinson McConnell (son in law, Thomas E. McConnell) and grandsons, Jacob and Lucas McConnell, also from Portland. We miss you, Arnold. Always respected, so dearly loved, forever remembered. SANDOVAL -- MANUEL B. Mr. Manuel B. Sandoval, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 19, 2005. Mr. Sandoval is survived by his sisters, Isabel Sedillo, Sally Reyna and husband, Pete; brothers, Lorenzo Sandoval, Vence Sandoval and wife, Angela; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Sandoval was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mr. Sandoval will be Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino de San Martin SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. TABET -- John E. Tabet, 89, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at Lovelace Medical Center. John was born in Manzano, NM, May 27, 1916, to Elias and Anisa Tabet, immigrants to America from Lebanon at the turn of the last century. John was the seventh of twelve children. Eight preceded him in death. John served in the Pacific Theater during WWII. He was one of five brothers serving during the war making his mother "A Five Star Mother". John retired from Sandia Base in 1975, after more than thirty years of Federal Service. John was preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Garcia) Tabet and a daughter, Rose Marie Tabet. John is survived by his son, Edward V. Tabet and wife, Violet; daughter, Theresa (Tabet) Burns and husband, Samuel, all of Albuquerque; three granddaughters: Debra Tabet, Denise Jeschke and husband, Roger of Arizona, and Darlene Maynard and husband, Michael of California; two grandsons, Jeffery and Gregory Burns of California; and four great-grandchildren. John is also survived by two sisters, Susie Anderson and Lita Tabet; and one brother, Pete Tabet, all of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. WENDT -- Gerald E. Wendt passed away on October 17, 2005. Mr. Wendt is survived by his daughters, Heather Wendt, Lisa Valdez and husband, Michael; sister, Arlene Fischer and husband, Richard; brothers, George Wendt and wife, Debi, David Wendt and wife, Terri; grandchildren, Monty and Rheannon Wendt; nieces and nephews, Lynne, Steve, Tammy, Christy and Mike; special friend, Mae Cress. Gerald was a Veteran of the Air Force. He was also employed by ABF Freight and Manager of Interior Materials.
