LANGLEY -- James Albert Langley, 97, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Alice Langley; and grandson, David James McCormick. He is survived by his daughter, Luora Jean McCormick and husband, David; granddaughters, Cynthia Teller of Albuquerque; Diane Powers of Madison, AL; and JoAnne Rucker of Houston, TX; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandsons. Mr. Langley was gentle, kind, and a loving man who was affectionately known as the "Mayor of Denny Street" during his years in Indianapolis. Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. LUNARDI -- Catherine M. Lunardi, age 93, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born to Santino and Eufrosina Gambogi, in Pittsburgh, PA. Catherine moved to Davenport, IA in 1940 when she married John J. Lunardi. She worked at the Lunardi Market and Peterson Harned Von Maur Department store and retired in 1979. Catherine was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Davenport, IA. She moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1979 to live near her daughter, Donna Allison. She volunteered at Presbyterian Hospital and Anna Kaseman Hospital for many years. Catherine was a charter member at Bear Canyon Senior Center and became a greeter there, as well as helping with weekly bingo. She was a resident of Bear Canyon Estates for the last five years. While living in Albuquerque she became a member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church. Catherine is survived by her children, one daughter, Donna Allison and one son, Jim Lunardi and wife, Tina of Milford, MA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Terri Allison, Tony Allison and wife, Cristine, and Tom Allison, all of Albuquerque, NM, Jason and Brian Lunardi, both from Milford, MA; one great-grandson, Bradley Graham of Albuquerque, NM; and one niece, Charlotte Morrison of Pittsburgh, PA. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Lunardi; her sister, Pauline Kubicsek; and son-in-law, John Allison. The Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Road NE, with Father Choong as the Celebrant. MARCUS -- Jeffrey Bart Marcus, age 57, beloved husband, father, son, brother, musician, accountant and jokester, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in New York, NY and grew up in Southern California. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Barbara and their children, Michael and Brittany; his parents, Martin and Muriel Marcus; his sister, Rene Rothman and husband, Jeffrey and their children, Richard, Stephanie and David; and his brother, Elliot Marcus and wife, Philomena and their children, Denise, Keith, Shawn and Jennifer and their families. MOORE -- Karen JoAnn Moore, 66, of Albuquerque, died December 26th, 2008 following a series of long illnesses. She is survived by her sons, daughters, and grandchildren of Albuquerque and Colorado. Karen loved a great book and sharing time with her family, including her pets. A graveside Memorial Service will be held today at Sandia Memory Gardens at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Boyles Officiating. SCHROEDER -- Christian F. Schroeder, Jr., a long-time resident of Albuquerque, died peacefully on December 24, 2008. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Jeannette. THURMAN -- Glen Woodrow Thurman, DDS, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Jayne McDonald and husband, Randy; son, Fred Thurman and wife, Elsie; grandchildren, Griffin and Piper McDonald, Brady Thurman, Hunter Thurman and wife, Emily; and great-grandson, Mckinley Thurman. Glen was born on a farm in rural Nebraska, attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and lived in his home state until he joined the Navy and served during World War II in San Diego. After the war, a Navy buddy convinced Glen to come with him to New Mexico, where he met his wife, Sarah Jane Thurman. Glen made his home in Albuquerque, raised his family and had a successful dental practice for forty years. He was a life long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he and Sarah were active for many years. Services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Chapel. BOURQUE -- Penni Sue. Memorial Services for Penni Sue Bourque, 45, of Canton, TX are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Canton with Father Selvaraj Sinnappan and Dr. Bruce Prescott officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. She passed away December 17, 2008 in Canton, TX. Mrs. Bourque was born January 15, 1963 in Pueblo, CO to William Rex and Betena Naomi Fletcher Prescott. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Canton, TX, a member of the ARC (Associates of Respiratory Care), Ovarian Support Group at Baylor in Dallas, and Gilda's Club. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and graduated from Highland High School and TVI of Albuquerque. She worked at the University of New Mexico just shy of 15 years, and Children's Medical Center of Dallas, almost four years as a Respiratory Therapist. She also had a business selling satellite systems. She enjoyed rubber stamping and scrapbooking. Penni was preceded in death by father, William Rex Prescott. She is survived by husband David F. Bourque of Canton, TX; daughter Michelle Bourque of Canton, TX; step son Steven Bourque of Albuquerque, NM; mother Betena Prescott of Albuquerque, NM; brother and sister-in-law Dr. William Bruce and Kylene Prescott of Norman, OK; nephew William Doyle and wife Monica Prescott of Norman, OK; niece Candice Prescott and husband Josh Clark of Gulfport, MS; brother and sister-in-law Patric Milton and Linda Prescott of Albuquerque, NM; nephew Edward Prescott of Albuquerque, NM; great-nephew Richard Prescott of Albuquerque, NM; and niece Melissa Prescott of Albuquerque, NM.

CRAWLEY -- Rita Sue Crawley, age 64, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008. She was born on December 17, 1944 in Eldorado, AR to J.E. and Artie Pinckard. Sue was a former member of The Word of Faith Church in Albuquerque where she played the piano for services. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Surviving are her son, William Crawley Jr. and his wife, Kelli of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, B.J., Sarah, Rebekah and Mary; her mother, Artie Pinckard of Albuquerque; father of her son, William Crawley Sr. of Albuquerque; one sister, Beth Hensley and her husband, Don of Albuquerque and one brother, James Pinckard and his wife, Vionna of Las Cruces, NM; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, J.E. Pinckard in 1993. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens Cemetery.
