LANGLEY -- James Albert Langley, 97, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Alice Langley; and grandson, David James McCormick. He is survived by his daughter, Luora Jean McCormick and husband, David; granddaughters, Cynthia Teller of Albuquerque; Diane Powers of Madison, AL; and JoAnne Rucker of Houston, TX; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandsons. Mr. Langley was gentle, kind, and a loving man who was affectionately known as the "Mayor of Denny Street" during his years in Indianapolis. Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled.
