HAWLEY-CHAVEZ, MICHAEL COLTON April 1, 1989- February 14, 2015 Michael (Mikey) was a beloved son, grandson and wonderful friend to many, he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his mother Mary Hawley; father Mike Chavez; grandmothers: Doris Burton and Ophelia Chavez; aunts Christina, Barbara and Cindy; uncles Darin, David, Melvin, Tom, Mark; brother Matthew; and his sister Kimberly. Preceded in death by his aunt Jolene. Michael was in the Army Reserves, attended UNM and worked for Discount Tire. Memorial will be held Friday from 1-3pm at The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, 2121 Edith Blvd NE, Albq, NM. Donations and food for the ceremony would be greatly appreciated. TENGCO, MARITA At age 62, Marita Tengco, a daughter of the Philippines, a devoted wife and a loving mother, passed into the Lord's safe keeping on February 19, 2015. Having earning degrees at Assumption College and the University of the Philippines, Marita served as an economist and resource planner for the Philippine government for several years. After winning a fellowship at Princeton University, she sought opportunities in her adopted country of the United States, and made for herself a new career in commercial insurance. As a Certified Insurance Counselor, and gained many loyal clients in the business community through her dedication to excellence. At the same time, she selflessly offered her energies to the Roman Catholic parish of Aquinas Newman Center in numerous ways such as student meals, Eucharistic ministry, and coordinating small faith sharing communities. Her other passions included jazz performances, children's education, hiking, birds, and dancing. She is survived by husband Tom; daughter Mirinisa; siblings Aristeo, Alma, and Kim; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation begins at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25, followed by a Rosary at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque. SMITH, FRANCIS Age 85, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 with his granddaughter Cambria by his side. Francis was retired from the Navy and the post office. Francis was a master woodworker and leathersmith and loved to mend fences, doing yard work and he built beautiful corrals. was a wonderful husband to his wife, Gloria and was very active in the church and community. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Tom and Jeffery. Francis is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gloria; children, Rosalie, Frances, Patricia, Cathy, Rodney, Tina and Catalina; 13 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; seven great-great- grandchildren and one sister, Dora. A service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015, 12:00 pm, at cornerstone United Methodist Church, 3905 Las Vegas Dr. SW. ROBISON, MAGDA L. Magda L. Robison, 94, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Howard H. Robison, stepson Robert Robison, parents Magda and Paul Reinke and her sister Paula Follis. As a nurse, Magda moved to New Mexico from Germany in 1952 after serving as a nurse to US and allied soldiers during WW II. She continued her nursing career in Grants and Albuquerque until she married in 1960. She enjoyed many talents such as, needle work, painting, photography, and sewing. She enjoyed many hobbies but none more than reading. She is survived by three sons, John Robison (Deborah), Tom Robison (Patti) and Jeff Robison (Rita); six grandchildren Renee Robison, Cheryl Kramer, Cecili Robison, Porsche Robison, Ian Robison and Sydney Robison.

MORROW, DORIS LEE Doris Morrow passed away February 18, 2015. Doris was born in Richmond, Indiana on September 13, 1922 to the Reverend Dawson Liggett and Gertrude Liggett. She was raised in Spiceland, Indiana. Doris graduated from Spiceland High School in 1940. After graduating from business college, she opened a hat shop in Kokomo, Indiana and worked at an ordinance weapons plant during WWII for the Navy. After the war, she married Everette Morrow in 1946 and together they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1947. It is in Albuquerque where she opened a small beauty salon and began raising a family. She was a long time member of Central United Methodist Church and a faithful member of the Asbury Fellowship class where she played piano every Sunday morning. She was also an accomplished organist. Music was a very big part of her life. Doris was an avid golfer and had an amazing short game as many of her opponents learned. She was a skilled bridge player and enjoyed playing with her friends from the old Four Hills Country Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Dawson and Gertrude Liggett; husband Everette A. Morrow; brother Virgil Liggett; and sister, Evelyn Lester. Survivors include son Clark E. Morrow and wife Peggy; daughter Celia Burnett and husband Brian; and six grandchildren, Brandon Burnett, Rachel Brunton and husband Tom, Hayley Johrendt and husband Jeff, Tyson Morrow, Terrel Telles and wife Nancy, and Denise Gerhardt and husband David. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, Alexi, Cole, Hannah, Amber, John, Ellis, Henry, Cullen, Kyle, Liesl; and one great-great-grandson Karson. ENRIGHT, LAURA LEE MARIE passed away peacefully at her parent's house on February 19, 2015. She is survived by parents, Joseph L. and Anna Marie Salazar from Albuquerque; two daughters, Karyssa Bobadilla and husband Vince, grandson Vicente; and Marina Enright from Peoria, Arizona. Other survivors include her ex-husband Daniel Enright Sr. and two sons, Daniel Enright Jr., granddaughter Hailey, and Dominick Enright from Rio Rancho; her sister Debra Ann Schrage and husband Tom from Aviston, Illinois; Kimberly Dee Pihlaja and husband Keith from Fairbanks, Alaska; and Larry Salazar from Rio Rancho. Also surviving are many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and her boyfriend, Francis Kelly. Laura was born to a military family on June 6, 1964, at Edwards Air Force Base, California. She traveled extensively with the family as her father's assignments led them to New Mexico, Illinois, Alaska, and Finally New Mexico again. She graduated from Eldorado High School in 1982 and shortly thereafter met her husband-to-be. After several years living in Albuquerque, her husband Danny began a new job in Phoenix, Arizona. After their separation, Laura moved back to Albuquerque to be closer to her family. She was a very cheerful, loving person who loved to sing and make everybody happy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she is now resting peacefully. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be buried in her mother's family plot at the Santo Nino de Atocha Chapel in La Manga, New Mexico at a later date. WILSON, BEVERLY JEAN Age 71, passed away on February 15, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was born on January 30, 1944 to Herman and Mary Wilson in Denver, Colorado. Beverly was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother Kenneth. Beverly was survived by her three children, Michael, Roger and Jennifer; her brother, Tom and wife Linda Wilson; and five grandchildren, Buck, Edward, Eric, Matthew and Ashley. CHAVES, JERRY ALFONSO I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith; all there is to come now is the crown of righteousness reserved for me. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Age 73, resident of Belen, NM passed away on February 15, 2015 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Jerry was born to Alfonso and Dora Romero Chaves on May 28, 1941 in San Francisco, CA. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Sandy; his parents; in-laws, John and Opel Moses; brother in-law, Maurice Moses. He is survived by his children, Lee Chaves (Melissa) of Los Lunas, NM; Chantel Chaves Carrete of Bosque Farms, NM; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Amanda, Clay, Chloe, Aiden, Xyler and Lianna; siblings, Janice Chaves Rubi (Isidro), Tom Chaves (Carol); nephews, JJ Moses, Eddie Stilwell, Mark, Adam, Devlin and Daniel Rubi, Tommy and Mathew Chaves; nieces, Laura Rubi Harris, Joanna Rubi and Danielle Chaves; sister-in-law Lee Ann Moses Fusco (Stephan); brother-in-law Greg (Sue) Moses of Medford, OR; uncle Andy Chavez of Albuquerque, NM and aunt Dorothy Chavez of San Mateo, CA. Jerry grew up in Ogden, Utah where he attended St. Joseph's High School and was a member of the wrestling team. As a young man, he raised show pigeons, and loved to deer hunt with his father and brother. Jerry joined the U.S. Navy in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1963. He moved to Ventura, CA where he met and married wife Sandy in 1967. Jerry worked at Point Mugu Naval Base for ten years. In 1977 he moved his family to Medford, OR and worked as a welder for Global Marine aboard the Glomar Challenger. In 1986 Jerry and his family moved to Belen, NM where he served as on-site manager and co-owner for South Main Mobile Home Park in Belen for 30 years. Jerry also worked at the Plaza Inn as Maintenance Foreman until he retired to care for Sandy for the last ten years of her life. Jerry was Roman Catholic and attended Mass at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. He loved to fish for salmon, gather Pinon nuts, breed Chihuahuas, and cook for family and friends. Jerry was a jack of all trades, there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy and remain his lasting legacy. On Friday, February 20, 2015 a Rosary will be recited at 10am followed by Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel NE, Albuquerque, NM with Fr. Michael Shae as celebrant.
