AVERY, NANCY J. Nancy J. Avery became an angel on the morning of February 15th. She is survived by her husband Keith; her daughters: Nicole and husband Alex, Rebecca and fiance Corey; and her mother Jean. She loved spending time with her family and friends, walking the dog, and swimming in her pool. She will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives she touched. Nancy had an incredible gift for giving until she had nothing else to give. A celebration of her life will be held at Church of the Good Shepherd (7834 Tennyson St. NE, Albuquerque NM 87122) on Tuesday, Feb 24th at 6PM. BARBER, BARRY K. Age 45, passed away February 14, 2014. He was predeceased by his father Richard Barber Sr and brother, Eugene Barber. He is survived by his mother, Annie T. Barber; sisters, Lavina and Brenda; brother, Les, all of Gamerco, NM; and Richard Jr (Elsie), Rio Rancho, NM. Services will be held Monday, February 23, 10 am. DOW, RAMONA Beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend lost her battle with cancer on February 14, 2015. She was born on June 17, 1936 in Santa Fe. NM. Ramona loved the outdoors, cooking, and her beloved animals. She and Archie were avid Lobos fans for years. Ramona is preceded in death by her husband, Archie Dow; her parents, Filiberto and Remigia Tapia; brother, Joe Leonard. She is survived by her two brothers, Frank Tapia, Carlos Tapia; three sisters, Mary Tapia, Stella Tapia, Betty Armijo and husband, Michael; four brothers in law, Leo Dow, Ernest Dow and wife, Florence, Orlando Dow and wife, Helen, Robert Dow; two sisters in law, Mary Dow and Priscilla Dow; many special nieces, nephews and their families. Ramona was a devoted Christian, Jesus was Lord of her life. Her family is grateful for the care given to her by Dr. Muller, UNM Cancer Center, Heartland Enriching Life Hospice service in her final two weeks. Special thanks to Father Carlos Gonzales for his weekly visits and administering weekly holy communion, and to her cousin Jane Olonia for her weekly visits. Pallbearers will be Carl Armijo, Eric Armijo, Michael Armijo Jr., Brian Chavez, Fil Martinez, Jonathan Martinez. Ramona will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Visitation will take place Sunday, February 22, 2015, from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary~Chapel of Angels,717 Stover Ave. SW, Albuquerque, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. FARMER, EVELYN G. (ANDERSON) age 91, was born March 30, 1923 on a farm in Meeker County, MN to Ernest and Frieda Anderson. She passed away February 13, 2015 after a brief illness. Wife, mother, and miracle worker, she raised six children on a school teacher's salary. Evelyn met and married Paul Farmer after a chance encounter in Minneapolis when he missed a train to Chicago. They settled in Albuq. in 1945 after Paul returned from serving in WWII. She joined St. Paul's Lutheran Church that year, dedicating her time, teaching Sunday School, and serving as Sunday School Director for ten years. While balancing married life and child rearing, she held a brief career at Carpenter Paper Co. Evelyn had a keen interest in tracking the weather and couldn't resist enjoying a chocolate Frosty from Wendy's. She was preceded in death by husband Paul and brothers Ed and Severin Anderson. She is survived by brothers Johnny, Louis and Marvin; daughter Pauletta McNeill (Richard); sons John (Marsha), Duane, Glenn, David (Jenifer), and Gary; daughter-in-law Marty; nine grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and her cat, Angel. A memorial service is planned for March 28th, 1:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Paul's. THANK YOU, MOM. GARCIA, TONY Lorraine K. Garcia and family invite everyone to remember the passing of Tony Garcia, her beloved husband of 50 years, 1 year ago on February 21st. An excellent mechanic and avid fisherman, Tony is remembered as an honest, hard-working, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is truly missed every moment of every day. Tony is interred at Sunset Memorial Park on Rose Drive just across from the intersection of Floral Drive. We ask that you please remember Tony for the friend he was to all, the guiding hand he was to his family, and the father some felt they always needed. God Bless You, Grandpa.

KOMINIAK, GEORGE J. A resident of Corrales, NM since 1977, died peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, February 13, 2015. He was surrounded by loving family and friends. George moved from his birthplace in New Jersey to New Mexico in 1969 to join the staff at Sandia National Labs from where he retired after 38 years in 2007. He began his career working in Bell Labs in NJ. He also served 6 years in the Air Force Reserves. He is survived by Patricia, his beloved wife of 52 years; sons Scott and Tim of Corrales; son Matthew and daughter-in-law Christine of Mesa, AZ; grandsons Owen and Tice; sister Carol of Sandia Park, NM; and nephew Michael of Chicago, IL. George will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor. His legacy is his thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity to all. MARSH, EOLA H. 12/22/25 - 02/14/15 Born in Mathiston, MS, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, survived by her husband Ed; her son Jerry and his wife, Judy, of Jackson, MS; her daughters Linda of Albuquerque and Jo Ann of Aurora, CO; her grandsons Stephen and his wife, Lynn, of Dallas, TX and John and his wife, Jan, of Oxford, MS; and six great- grandchildren Brittany, Morgan, Christian and Ellie Marsh of Dallas, TX and Cole and Jake Marsh of Oxford, MS. An avid and devoted golfer, Eola served many roles with the Arroya Del Oso Women's Golf Association and the Sunport Women's Golf Association until declining health forced her to abandon play at age 86. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 25th at 10:00 am at Christ the Ray of Hope Church, 7001 San Antonio Dr NE (in the Vista Del Norte Shopping Center). MATOTAN, TOMME R. Tomme Ruth Matotan, age 91, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. She was born in Gatesville, TX on October 6, 1923, to Burley Morris and his wife, Emma, both pharmacists. Tomme grew up in Lamesa, TX. She had two brothers, Burley and Gene, and one sister, Norma Kay. When Tomme's mother went to pharmacy school, Tomme helped raise her siblings. Tomme attended the University of New Mexico, earning a degree in Sociology. After graduation, she worked as a secretary at Kirtland Air Force Base, where she met her future husband, William Matotan. They married on February 14, 1953, and celebrated their 62nd anniversary last week. Tomme and her husband had two children, Lee and Stephen. Tomme was a world traveler, visiting over 140 countries, enjoying diverse cultures and traditions. She was an accomplished photographer and collected artifacts worldwide. Tomme was a resident of Albuquerque and is survived by her husband, William Matotan; her daughter, Lee Sislen of Rockville, MD; her son, Stephen Matotan and his wife, Tamara of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, Benjamin Sislen, Matthew Sislen and Emily Sislen all of Washington, D.C.; her sister, Norma Kay Emberg of Houston, TX; and nieces and nephews, Tekla Laborsky, Mary Meadors and Randy Warchol of Chicago, IL, Fred Warchol and Joseph Warchol of California, and Patrick Warchol of Albuquerque, NM. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 21, 2015, 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH Lomas with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be Monday, February 23, 2015 in Deming, New Mexico. MEGAH, LAURA LEE TOULOUSE Age 64, died on February 18, 2015 after a long illness. She was born on January 11, 1951 in Albuquerque to the late James and Charlotte Toulouse. She is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years Ben Megah; her daughters Kimberly Megah (Luis Otero), Brook Megah Escapule (Tyler); her grandchildren Victoria Baca and Jasper Otero and a soon to be born second Otero grandson; her sisters Carmie Lynn, Charlotte Mary (Robert Secrest), and Leigh-Anne Toulouse and Samantha Schwack (Art); and her nephews Jeremy (Jenny) and Trent Toulouse and James McAnally; and niece Tamaya Toulouse (Ivan Wiener); six grandnephews; and many cousins and other relatives. For the last 25 years she, Ben and their daughters lived in a log cabin, a place she loved in Sandia Park, once owned by her grandmother. She graduated from UNM with a fine arts degree and attended art school in Chicago. She was a gifted artist, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. For many years she owned and showed her beloved quarter horses. She worked for the US Censes Bureau, the NM Department of Human Services and the US Social Security Office from which she had to retire because of her health. Through the seven years of her illness she maintained her wonderful sense of humor and her strength was a marvel to all those around her. In her last months even as sick as she was she was able to attend one more Lobo Aggie game at the Pit, and more importantly saw her daughter, Brook get married. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, on Tuesday, February 24 at 1:00pm with Pastor Matthew Miller officiating. ROBISON, MAGDA L. Magda L. Robison, 94, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Howard H. Robison, stepson Robert Robison, parents Magda and Paul Reinke and her sister Paula Follis. As a nurse, Magda moved to New Mexico from Germany in 1952 after serving as a nurse to US and allied soldiers during WW II. She continued her nursing career in Grants and Albuquerque until she married in 1960. She enjoyed many talents such as, needle work, painting, photography, and sewing. She enjoyed many hobbies but none more than reading. She is survived by three sons, John Robison (Deborah), Tom Robison (Patti) and Jeff Robison (Rita); six grandchildren Renee Robison, Cheryl Kramer, Cecili Robison, Porsche Robison, Ian Robison and Sydney Robison.

TUSIRI, VICKIE KWOK-CHUN NING Age 83, of Albuquerque, NM, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Monterey Park, CA, peacefully in her sleep. Vickie was born on July 15, 1931 in Hong Kong. Her parents were Timothy and Marian Ning. Their household included six more children: David, Jimmy, Judy, Mike, Jack, and aunt Mary. After moving from China to Thailand in 1950, Vickie became a Christian and met her husband, John Sawai Tusiri. Together they had six children, and in 1976 their family immigrated to the US and settled in Albuquerque. Vickie often said that the two best things that happened in her life were that she met her husband John who truly loved and cared for her, and most importantly that she met Jesus who loved her even more and gave His life for her. She is survived by her six children; nine grandchildren; four siblings; an aunt, and many cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Universal Chung Wah Funeral Directors in Alhambra, CA.
