ANGEL -- Elfides A. Angel was born February 28, 1925 and passed away Monday, November 29, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Angel, and ten brothers and sisters. Elfides is survived by her son, John Angel and wife Joann; step-sons, Bob Angel and wife Sarouch, Leroy Pino and wife Bella; step-daughter, Loretta Angel; two grandchildren, Jacob and Elizabeth Angel; sisters, Basilia Cordova and husband Pablo, and Maria Montoya. Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4th and Alameda NW. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Herman Cordova, James Montoya, Julio Romero, Rudy Gallegos, Paul Cordova, and James Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Gutierrez, Ralph Cordova and Robert Cordova. GARCIA -- Lola S. Garcia, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, was welcomed into the arms of angels and saints, Monday, November 29, 2004. She is survived by her sons, Ralph Garcia and wife, Ida of Albuquerque and Robert Garcia and wife, Kelly of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, Julia Garcia and husband, Joe, Jane Woods and husband, Mel, Lucy Torres and husband, Joe, Cecilia Gallegos and husband, Richard, Patsy Gonzales and husband, Ray, Philomena Torres and husband, Jr., Rita Garcia and husband, Christian and Mary Frances Garcia-Soliz and husband, Alfonso, all of Albuquerque; 93 grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Garcia; son, Primetivo Garcia; daughter, Mary Ann Chavez; and sister, Nellie Chavez. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE, with Father Fernando Rubio-Boitel, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. GALLEGOS -- Daniel R. Gallegos passed away suddenly, November 25, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Mariah; mother, Lorraine Apodaca; father, Richard Gallegos; step-mother, Margie Gallegos; brother, Ricky; three sisters, Renee, Erica and Caroline; girlfriend, Mary; numerous other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. The viewing and funeral service will be held at Mt. Zion Christian Church, 1001 Barelas SW. in Albuquerque on Wednesday, December 1, 2004. SANTISTEVAN -- Cora S. Santistevan, 64, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of loving family on November 20, 2004. Mrs. Santistevan is survived by her daughter, Annette V. Robledo and husband, Joseph; her son, Greg L. Santistevan and wife, Evelyn; two grandchildren, Lauren Santistevan and Gregory M. Santistevan; her mother, Mina Archunde; three sisters, Rose Gallegos, Renay Gallegos, Josie Marquez and husband, Gene; two brothers, Gilbert Archunde and Stanley Archunde. Mrs. Santistevan was a member of the Catholic Church, was an employee and facility manager of the Albuquerque Federal Savings and Loan, retired from Albuquerque Police Department and was team leader of the Fingerprint Specialist Dept. A visitation for Mrs. Santistevan will be Friday morning, November 26, 2004, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. by Josie Marquez and Rose Gallegos.
