AFFELT -- Gustave Affelt was born in New York City, served in the Army in World War II, and was employed by Deluxe Corporation Bank Printers for 43 years. He attended Rutgers University and Paterson School of Business. He studied voice with Major Augustus Post of Carnegie in New York City. He sang with the Yorkville (Maennerchor) in NYC, the Mt. Lakes Glee Club in New Jersey, and Vos Vaqueros in Las Cruces. With his wife, June, he sang in the Bronxville Choral Society in NY, the Morris Choral Society in New Jersy, and university choruses and Lutheran church choirs. He and June were married in St. Peters, New York and were together for 54 years. He is survived by his daughter, April and husband, Paul, of Nevada; a son, Laurence and wife, Gloria, of New Jersey; a brother, Henry of New York; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church on Menaul and was a member of their Senior Club. ARCHULETA -- Alfonso E. Archuleta went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2004 at the age of 64. He was born on March 12, 1940 in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife Betty Archuleta; sons, Alfonso Archuleta and wife Shelly and Ray Patrick Archuleta; daughters, MaryAnn Cordova and Tina Lamas and husband Felipe; brothers, Joe Archuleta and wife Mary Rose, Phillip Archuleta and wife Dolly, Mike Archuleta and Pete Archuleta; sisters, Dolores Ulibarri and Betty Duran; grandchildren, Alicia, Michelle, Melanie, Megan, Alexandria, Domonique, Sierra and Alfonso Raymond. He will be deeply missed by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. ARCHULETA -- Julian "Archie" Archuleta, died November 26, 2004, at the age of 79. He retired from the US Air force with the American medal of Foreign Wars. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucia Archuleta, son, Raymond Ralph Archuleta, and daughters, Rachel Marie Mora and Loretta Jean Archuleta. He is survived by his three sons, Julian Eloy Archuleta, Roy Michael Archuleta, and Richard John Archuleta and wife, Raquel; two brothers, Juan Archuleta and wife, Clora, and Tomas Archuleta and wife, Mela; sisters, Margaret Salazar, Juanita Casados and husband, Pete, Lugita Maestas and husband, Tony, and Polly Barnhart; six grandchildren, Valerie, Andrea, Nicole, Rachel, Adina, and Victoria; and six great-grandchildren, Janessa, Michael, Donovan, Alicia, Brianna, and Kellen. A rosary will be recited, and the funeral service will follow- time and place to be announced. BALDONADO -- Linda Baldonado died on November 22, 2004, at the age of 29. She is survived by her father and mother, Richard and Sylvia Martinez; her sons, Anthony Martinez and Mathew Baldonado; her daughter, Desiree Baldonado; two sisters, April and Lisa Martinez; her grandparents, Eustacio and Nettie Martinez, her estranged husband, Ruben Baldonado and his parents, Danny and Evelyn Baldonado, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. DUPREE -- Robert J. DuPree, 71, passed away following a lengthy illness Thursday, November 25, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose, of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Jacqueline Ayre and husband, Bill, of Edgewood, NM; sons, Alan DuPree and wife, Stephanie, of Tijeras, NM, Andrew DuPree and wife, Jennifer, of Pleasant Hill, CA and Jon DuPree of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Kenny, Amanda, Cole, Alaina, Angela, Rosemarie, Bobbi, Natalie, Cassidy, Franki and Andrea; brother, Clarence DuPree and wife, Lenore, of Chicago, IL and several nieces and nephews. ENRIGHT -- Twyla Enright RN was born on November 26, 1916 in Baxter Springs, KS. As a child, she lived in Sioux Falls, SD with her adopted Norwegian family members. A single mother raised her and her sister on a farm, during the depression. Later she attended Baxter Springs Kansas High School where she excelled academically, played on the girls' basketball team and was a cheerleader during half time. In 1938 she graduated nurse's training in Kansas City, MO under the Sisters of Charity. She married Earl Enright of Joplin, MO and they, after WWII, with their three young children moved to San Juan, NM where Ms. Enright provided volunteer healthcare for residents of rural Northern New Mexico. It is said that she provided home healthcare for Georgia O'Keeffe. Twyla and her family moved to Albuquerque where Ms. Enright nursed at the old St. Joseph Hospital and then the Veterans Hospital Operating Room where she participated in the first open heart surgical procedure in New Mexico. After twenty-five years in the OR, she retired to her beloved Albuquerque home of many years, where she continued to volunteer healthcare services. Ms. Enright also loved music and, as a child, taught herself to play the piano and the violin. She was a time-honored supporter of the Arts in New Mexico. She also loved worldwide travel wherein she traveled to China, South American, Europe, Middle East, and Canada. She and her husband loved the mountains of New Mexico where they built their own cabin, in the wilderness, at the foot of the Brazos Cliffs in Tierra Amarilla, NM. As a child, Ms. Enright made clothes for she and her sister from recycled flour bags. She subsequently became an accomplished seamstress and dress designer. During her last years, she participated in Home Healthcare Reform under the auspices of her time honored home healthcare provider, Ms. Katherine Mann. Her husband, Earl, and sister Eula Marie, preceded Ms. Enright in death. Three children survive Ms. Enright: Nancy Reynolds of Dallas, TX, Patrick Enright of Santa Ana, CA and Michael Enright of Albuquerque, NM. Mrs. Enright enjoyed seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews. She would also wish to acknowledge the services of longtime friend and neighbor, Kathy Esquerra. FIGGE -- AliceBlue Figge, 66, a native of Albuquerque and a renowned calligrapher, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2004, following an extended illness. Alice's budding interest in calligraphy began at Highland High School when she created beautiful letters for the high school annual headlines rather than using typed text. Calligraphy soon was to become her lifelong passion and career. She had the pleasure to become friends with and study calligraphy under Ralph Douglass while pursuing her degree at the University of New Mexico. She loved teaching and taught throughout the country. She was selected to attend the Queen's School in London, England. She established a summer program at Ghost Ranch, Literally Letters, where she invited nationally known calligraphers to teach. Her business, Blue Quill Calligraphy, provided her opportunities to complete commissions for individuals, special award certificates, her fraternity Kappa Kappa Gamma and Pope John Paul II. Some of her calligraphy publications include The Prayers I Love compiled by Daniel Redding, I Love Calligraphy which is a step by step teaching of calligraphy, and a History of the Liberty Presbyterian Church. Alice was a member of Escribiente Calligraphy Guild, Las Aranas Weavers Guild, PEO Chapter BH and Kappa Kappa Gamma where she was President her senior year. She is survived by her husband, Robert Figge, of Albuquerque; her daughter, Ann Girand Ulliman and husband, Mark, and grandchildren, Audrey and Aaron, of Moorhead, Minnesota; her son, Dub Girand, of Albuquerque; her mother, Sarah Blue; her sister, Ann Wolf, and husband, Wayne, and nephews, Warren Wolf and David Wolf; brother-in-law, Roger Figge; niece, Debbie Owen, and husband, Todd, and great-nephew, Kyle; nephew, Stephen Figge and wife, Deborrah, and great-niece and nephews, Marlena, Jacob, and Dylan. FOSTER -- Peter H. Foster. Sadly we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Pop Pop, Dad and husband, Peter H. Foster on Nov. 20, 2004 due to untreatable cancer. Pete graduated from high school in the town of Bethlehem, NY where his class will celebrate its 50th Reunion this September. After graduating with a BS Degree in Engineering from the US Military Academy at West Point, NY in 1959, he married his high school classmate Judith Ann Miller and moved to Albuquerque. They are the parents of two daughters, Juliet Foster, of Phoenix, AZ; Christel Claunch, and husband, Scott of Highlands Ranch, CO; and two granddaughters, Sydni and Camryn Claunch. Pete built an exemplary career with DoD in USAF R&D Contracting, becoming Director of Contracts at KAFB Contracting Center and Deputy Director of DESA. In 1993, he retired from Government service with pride and became Director of Western Operations for SRC. Pete Foster was a Charter Member of the Albuquerque Chapter of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and held a Top Secret SCI Security Clearance. A flag was flown over the US Capitol in Peter's honor observing the 200th anniversary of the USMA. He was a dedicated supporter of his family and friends. Pete leaves a legacy of love, care and humor that will be carried in the hearts of those blessed enough to have come to know him. His Memorial Service will be held at 11:15 a.m., Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper Ave., NE with a Reception immediately following. In 1994, Pete inherited a farm in Baldwinsville, NY which has been in the family since a Revolutionary War Land Grant in 1778 and houses Civil War memorabilia from his ancestors. GALLOWAY -- Gene Russell 1925-2004 Gene Russell Galloway, 78, a resident of Belen, passed away on Thursday November 25, 2004. He was retired from the US Air Force having served in both World War II, and the Korean Conflict. His second retirement was from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft after 23 years of service; he and his wife were stationed in various parts of the world during his tenure there. Gene enjoyed gardening, sports, and woodwork; and was a bird lover who enjoyed feeding the hummingbirds. He was also a quiet and secluded man, who enjoyed the home life and his family. Gene is survived by his loving wife, Eddie Jo of the family home in Belen; his daughter, Debra Gene Jackson and her husband, David of Clovis, NM; his sisters, Jane Elizabeth Horn and her husband, Fred, Shirley Van Ettinger and her husband, Tom, and his brother, Vernon Galloway all of Kingsport, Tennessee; his grandsons, James Ryan Lewter, Corey Russell Lewter, and David Conner Jackson; and one great-granddaughter, Jaidyn J'nae Jacquez. Cremation will take place and a memorial service is scheduled for December 27th, 2004 at the Methodist Church in Belen with Pastor Jay Armstrong officiating, the time is still pending. GARCIA -- Mrs. Amelina M. Garcia, 82, passed away at home in the loving arms of her family on November 26, 2004. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her eight children, Dorothy Flores, Orlando Garcia and wife, Petra, Ramon Garcia and wife, Lisa, Rose Marie Rivas, Bonnie Garcia and husband, Dickie, Margie Garcia and Michael Apodaca, Jeanette Archuleta and husband, Mark, and Charity Franklin and husband, Jeff; 29 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister in law, Urbana Armijo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, Teodoro Garcia; and four sons, Martin Garcia, Crespin Garcia, Teddy Garcia, and Vicente Garcia. Mrs. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church. GLOCKER -- Mildred McGehee Glocker, 95, was born in St. Louis, MO April 25, 1909 and passed from this earth on November 24, 2004. She was the daughter of Charles Albert Glocker and Edith Petrie Glocker, and the great- granddaughter of Thomas Dudley Isom, MD a founding settler of Oxford, MS and the university located there. Mildred worked in a Civil Service career for over 45 years. At age 18 (1927), she began working at the Veterans Administration in Dayton, OH in the Eligibility Dept. and worked there until 1941 when she transferred to a better position as budget analyst at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where she remained until her retirement in 1972. She and her sister, C. Margaret Allen Glocker, moved to La Vida Llena Life Care Retirement Community in October of 1994 to be near their sister, Edith Glocker Kirkpatrick. She attended the University of Dayton and Wittenberg College. She was a life long Presbyterian and in her later years, was an active member of Northminster Presbyterian Church in Dayton, OH. She is survived by her first cousin, Petrie Mitchell and wife, Mary Belle, of Nashville, TN; Lynne Mitchell of Huntsville AL, the widow of her late cousin, Charles Mitchell; her second cousin, Ann Smith Carr and husband, Gary, of St. Louis, MO, as well as a number of other cousins. Mildred was a very independent minded person, was deeply interested in history, genealogy, flowers, birds, music, and considered things in depth before giving an opinion or response. She lived in her own independent apartment with her constant companion, Cat-Boots (age 17). There will be a memorial service at La Vida Llena at a later time. Graveside services and burial will be in Dayton, OH at Dayton Memorial Park where her parents and sister, Margaret are buried. Pastor Ed McNulty will conduct the graveside services assisted by her cousin, Petrie Mitchell. The family would like to thank all the people who have been so attentive to Mildred's needs these last few years, who have honored her wishes to remain as independent as possible with caregiver assistance, and provided care, comfort, companionship, interaction and consideration. GONCE (HEAPHY) -- Mary Heaphy, age 46, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004 in Nashville, TN following an illness. She was preceded in death by mother, Margaret Heaphy and father, John Heaphy. She is survived by husband, Allan Gonce and son, Dean of Franklin, TN; brothers, Richard Heaphy, Michael Heaphy and wife, Evelyn, Joe Heaphy, Steve Heaphy and wife, Teresa, and John Heaphy. Internment was held November 23 in TN. Mary spent a majority her life in Albuquerque, attending Heights Catholic and St. Pius schools. She later moved to Estancia before relocating to Nashville in 1994. Mary faced extreme adversity in her life with dignity, hope, and a strong faith and was known for her compassion and friendship. She will be missed by her family and many friends in New Mexico and Tennessee.

GRIEGO -- Robert Gerard Griego, 41, was called by the Lord suddenly, Wednesday, November 24, 2004. He was preceded in death by his half-brother, Robert E. Griego. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Bertha Griego; partner, Jody Mares; sister, Roseannette Bentz; brother, Michael Griego and wife, Ida; half -sisters, Louise Lovato and Loretta Thomason; half-brother, Larry Martinez; niece, Brittany Bentz; and nephew, Nicholas Griego; beloved dog, Gia; and many other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Gerard was loved by many. Everyone's lives were brightened by his presence, and he will be greatly missed. HORNER -- Christopher Robert Horner, September 10, 1992 to November 24, 2004, a son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. Chris died suddenly and tragically from a fall at his home Wednesday, November 24, 2004. Christopher loved fishing, fireworks, camping, and hiking. He was a member of the Cibola Youth Wrestling Club and attended Calvary Chapel when he wasn't out at the ranch in Bueyeros, New Mexico hunting, exploring, and learning the finer points of ranching from the Jeffery family, with friend and mentor, Danny Young. Christopher was a sixth grade student at Taylor Middle School where he had many friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Jared. His passing has left many broken hearts. Christopher is survived by his mother Cathy Horner, grandmother Helen Schirmer, his uncle David Schirmer, aunt Lori Alexander; and cousins Michael, James, and Chelsea Schirmer, and Vanessa & Joshua Johnston, and Melissa and Stephanie Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Alice and his children, daughter, Deanna and husband, Joe Bowman; son, David and wife, Paula; daughter, Judy and husband, Ray Dewey, and daughter, Tracey; grandsons, David Irvin, Jr., Craig and Brian Bowman, Adam and Justin Dewey; and great-grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, and Alexis Bowman. Also surviving are his sisters, Dona and husband, Delford Boyer, Barbara and Ted Glover; his brother, Lyle Irvin and his wife, Leona; and many nieces and nephews. Dean was preceded in death by his father, Edward and mother, Bernice, and brother, Glen Irvin. Dean was born September 30, 1918 in Havelock, NE, where he attended school. After graduation from the University of Nebraska with a degree in business administration, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army Reserve and later joined the Second Infantry Division at Fort Sam, Houston, TX. He went overseas with the Division in September of 1943 and saw action in World War II. During his tour with the military, he was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge; Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster; Meritorious Service Medal; Army Occupation Medal; Armed Forces Reserve Medal with two Hour Glasses; Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal; American Defense Service Medal; American Theater Medal; Europe, Asia, Middle East Theater Medal; and the World War II Victory Medal. He also received campaign ribbons for Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe, plus three overseas bars. He remained active in the Army Reserve and retired with the rank of Colonel. He was very active in volunteer work, serving on boards at both Lovelace Medical Center, and the Cancer Research and Treatment Center at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Dean was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed as much time as he could spare fly-fishing on the Conejos River in southern Colorado where he and Alice built a log cabin, which was their getaway place. Dean had, what he liked to call his “four M’s", his love for the military, music, museums and medicine. He and Alice were honored as New Mexico Philanthropists of the Year in 1995. Two awards he was most proud of were the Strength in Reserve Award in recognition of outstanding contribution to the US Army Reserve Program and the first Steve Schiff KAFB Advisory Award. A memorial celebration of Dean’s rich and vibrant life will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. Chaplin Lemuel Boyles officiating. MITTEN -- Wayne Bennett Mitten, Jr. of Mesa, Arizona, passed away Friday, November 19, 2004, after a long illness. He was born in Fairbury, IL on February 15, 1929 to Wayne Bennett Mitten Sr. and Esther Marie Erickson. During high school his family moved to Evanston, IL. Wayne graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the U. of Illinois where he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. He served in the US Air Force as a 1st Lt. His talents as an engineer began with ACF Industries in Albuquerque, NM. Wayne then was manager of the Lawndale Army Missile Plant in California. Another opportunity lead the Mitten family to Connersville, IN where he was Manufacturing Manager of Philco-Ford Industries and an active member of the community as President of the Chamber of Commerce, VP of the local YMCA, and active in the Jr. Achievement Program. During the early 70s Wayne became VP of International Silver Co. in Meriden, CT. Keene, NH became the family's next home where Wayne was President of Millers Forge Co., Manager of Central Screw, and finally owner of Foreign Auto Parts. Ipsen International Industries asked Wayne to come to Langhorne, PA as their Sales Manager for Special Vacuum Furnaces. Upon retirement he became an Independent Consultant to several companies. In Mesa, AZ, many local establishments gave Wayne the opportunity to give of his talents; he was on the Board of the Southwest Shakespeare Co., an active member of the Presbyterian Church of the Master, and active with the Mesa YMCA. In his spare time, Wayne enjoyed his workshop, building a sailing dory, tinkering with his Mustang, fishing, and numerous hobbies. Wayne is survived by his wife, Frances Martin Mitten; son, Wayne B. Mitten III of NYC; daughter, Anne Mitten Fligor and husband, Bradford T. Fligor; grandchildren, Amy and William Fligor of Martha's Vineyard, MA; sister, Edith Louis Burns and husband, Kenneth J. MOREJON -- Carlota Marta "Mamita" Morejon, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Wednesday, November 24, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Sara Sanchez and Marta Boydston and husband, Keith, all of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Jody Steele and husband, John of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandson, Bryan Boydston of Albuquerque; great-granddaughter, Ella Steele; and niece, Lisette Lozano and husband, Frank of Davie, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fabio Morejon, her parents, Calixto Augustin Laurent and Estela Primitiva Rojas and her brother ,Ramon Laurent. Carlota was born in Havana, Cuba, November 4, 1918. She met and married Fabio Morejon on October 7, 1944. Their two daughters were born there. Carlota and Fabio owned and operated a coffee distributing company, Monte Ruz, in Cuba. They sent their daughters to the United States on the Peter Pan Flights operated by Catholic Charities and in December of 1965 followed them to Albuquerque. They operated and owned Morejon Upholstery. Carlota was very active in the Cuban community. Her forte was cooking and sewing. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. MOYA -- Rebecca Maximina Moya, age 22, a resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico, joined Our Lord and Savior on November 25, 2004. She loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker. She loved gardening She had a special way with older people. Rebecca loved animals and was known to take in any strays that needed love and care. She was a very giving person and never missed an opportunity to help those in need. Rebecca never met a stranger and her exuberance for life was contagious. As small as she was she loved to work construction and she helped her father on many construction projects. RICHARDSON -- Elizabeth (Betty) A. Richardson joined the love of her life, William (Bill) on Friday, November 26, 2004. She was born February 3, 1924 in Henderson, PA, to William and Sara Marshall. Betty attended Hamburg High School in Hamburg, NY, and married Bill on August 16, 1941. She worked for Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank, CA, during WW II while Bill served in the Army in Europe. After the war, Betty and Bill purchased a 40-acre farm in Henderson, PA, and moved to Albuquerque in 1955. She worked at Jackson Jr. High School food services for 101/2 years. She was an avid sports enthusiast and never missed an Atlanta Braves baseball game. She always looked forward to the World Series, but also watched football, tennis, golf, and bowling. As a young woman, she was a fantastic swimmer, tennis player, and an avid bowler. She also enjoyed playing cards and dominos with her close friends and neighbors. Betty was a founding member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill who passed on June 19, 2004; her parents, William and Sara Marshall; and her sister, Gert Ellen Wike. Betty is survived by her children, Michael R. and wife, Susan, David M. and wife, Vivian, Kathleen R. Lamar and husband, John; brother, Malcolm Marshall of Sandy Lake, PA; sister, Billie Jean George of Warren, OH; grandchildren, Paige Mahoney and husband, Thomas, Brian Richardson and wife, Lori, Michael D. SEYMOUR -- Jean Parrish Seymour, well known southwestern landscape artist and daughter of the famous illustrator, Maxfield Parrish, passed away quietly on November 19, 2004 at the Albuquerque Care Center where she had been a resident for four years. She was 93. Jean was born in Cornish, New Hampshire in the heyday of the flourishing art colony. She came in 1937 to Albuquerque, New Mexico, as the bride of Augustus T. (Joe) Seymour. They had one daughter, Anne. Their marriage came to an end in 1949, and this marked the beginning of Jean's long artistic career. She always painted under her maiden name, Jean Parrish. For an excellent review of her life, artistic abilities, and accomplishments please see MASTERS OF WESTERN ART, written by Mary Carroll Nelson, published 1982 by Watson-Guptill Publications. Occasionally her paintings can be found for sale on the Internet, but the vast majority of her work is still in private collections. Jean is survived by her daughter, Anne Seymour Heard; son-in-law, John Heard; two grandsons, David and Theodore Heard; granddaughter-in-law, Julieta; and two great-grandchildren, Andre and Camila. SPARKS -- Rowena "Mimi" Duerson Sparks, 81 and a resident of Rio Rancho for about 20 years, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2004. Born December 13, 1922, in Lee County, KY, Mimi was the daughter of Green Monroe Abney and Effie Jane Henderson Abney. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor and her love for her family and friends. Mimi had a wonderful way of "connecting" with younger people; she also loved to travel whenever her health permitted. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by: three children, Joyce Edwards and Betty Rhodus, both of Rio Rancho, Winfred "Butch" Duerson of Mount Vernon, KY; two brothers, Melvin Abney of Indiana and Willard Abney of Florida; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2004, at Vista Verde Mortuary Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd. in Rio Rancho. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at Vista Verde Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. TABET -- George K. Tabet went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2004 at the age of 93. He was born on March 13, 1911 in Punta, New Mexico. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A rosary will be recited on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Cathoic Church. THOMPSON -- David Thompson, 75, died on November 26, 2004 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Glinnie Sue Thompson of Dexter, NM; two daughters, Joyce A. Gottlieb and husband, Art of Rio Rancho and Deborah Sue Thompson of Temple, TX; one son, David W. Thompson and Kay Arver of Dexter, NM; five grandchildren, Amanda Thompson, BJ Gottlieb, Jennifer Thompson, David W. Thompson, Jr. and Misty Gottlieb; two sisters, Betty Sue Huffman and Joyce Megeaski; one sister-in-law, Bernice Rochester and three brother-in-laws, Frank, James and Bill Hill. David served in the US Army during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was highly involved in the Hawk Missile System. After retirement, he continued working on missile systems with RCA, Raytheon and GTE, where he became involved in the Cruise Missile System. He loved life and his family. He was known for his sense of humor by all. He deemed it a great honor to serve his country. Service will take place on Monday, December 29, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles, officiating. TRAXLER -- Brian Traxler September 26, 1967 - November 19, 2004 Brian Traxler, Age 37, passed away November 19, 2004 in San Antonio, TX. Brian was born and raised in Waukegan, IL. Brian was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He was the "life of the party" and always made people laugh. Brian was a career baseball player and coach with the Los Angeles Dodger Organization. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Sandy Traxler. Brian is survived by his daughter, Ashley; his mother, Ruth; his sisters, Kelly Sheward (Wes) and Stacey; and nephews, Tristan and Jack. WILDS -- Doris J. Wilds (nee Schiffner) preceeded in death by her loving husband, Judge E. C. Gober. Survived by her brother, James F. Schiffner and her sons, James L. Gober, E.C. Buz Gober, Richard L. Gober and daughter, Eileen Thompson. Grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 21. Born on a homestead between Springer and Clayton NM 3 years after statehood the family moved to Raton when she was 9 years old. Later her father began work on the AT&SF Railway in Las Vegas NM. Father would transfer to Albuquerque where he would retire from working the railroad shop as a carpenter. She learned to cook from her mother who had taken in roomers and boarders over the years and made candy that was prized by all during the holidays. Her husband was police judge from the mid 30's to 1946 and they owned Gober and Son's Furniture Company on Gold Ave. After her husbands death she worked for many years in food service; First with APS and then retiring from Presbyterian Hospital as food supervisor. When younger she hunted, fished, and camped with the family. She was an early member of the First Baptist Church and the Pitheon Sisters. The hardships of ranch life prepared her well for helping with her younger brother's and sister and learning to prepare wonderful meals for her family. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by her family and friends. Services will be held at Fitzgerald & Son's Mortuary Monday Nov 29th at 2:00 p.m. Internment will be private.

ZINK -- Ramona E. Zink, born in St. Cloud, Minnesota on October 3, 1926 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1961, died on November 23, 2004. Through her long journey of Parkinson's, she remained compassionate towards others. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Zink and wife, Loretta and Gary Zink and wife, Susan; one daughter, Penny Zink and husband, Brian Schneider and daughter-in-law, Victoria Zink all of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two brothers, James and Delbert Broker. Ramona is preceded in death by one son, Robert Zink; and two brothers, Henry and Robert Broker.
