ARCHULETA -- PAUL F. Age 45, a resident of Albuquerque, passed way on July 10, 2011. Paul is survived by his mother, Lily Archuleta; his sister, Valerie Saavedra and David (Sparky) Austin; his brother, Danny Archuleta; his life partner, David Epstein; nieces and nephews, Alannah, Dana, Danae, and Michael; special aunt, Mary F. Archuleta; special uncle, Steve R. Archuleta; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Pete Archuleta. Visitation will be Sunday, July 17, 2011 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. CAMPOS -- GILBERT ANTHONY Age 53, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque NM passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 9, 2011. Mr. Campos was born on July 21, 1957. Mr. Campos was preceded in death by his parents Tomas and Lillian Campos; his brothers, Alfredo Campos, Lawrence Campos and Sonny Campos. Mr. Campos is survived by his ex-wife, Patricia Campos; his step-son, Juan F. Quintana; his daughter, Trisha N. Irvin, husband, Nick Irvin; his only granddaughter, Nyasia Irvin; his son, Anthony B. Campos, all from Albuquerque NM. Gilbert is also survived by his ex-sister-in-law, Wendy, and her husband Paul; his nephews, Geoffrey Herrera and Sam Strittmatter; his ex-brother-in-law David, wife Noreen, and nephew Jason Quintana; ex-brother-in-law Steve, wife Janet, and nephews Noah, Steven, and niece Nicole Quintana. Mr. Campos is also survived by four brothers, Jerry and his four sons, Estevan and daughter Courtney, Michael and wife Patricia C, and children, Joshua and Hope Campos, as well as her two children. Henry Campos, his wife Maria, and their children also from Albuquerque NM. He is also survived by his former girlfriend, Pauline Lovato, her daughters, Elaine and husband Ronnie, and daughter Stephanie, Amber and Leeann, and Jr. Garcia. Jennifer and, her daughters Audrey and Nicole, and daughter Delilah, and husband Jason Donovan, and Mariah Romero. Pauline Sister, Joella Kavanugh and her sons Julian, and Daniel Bencomo. Mr. Campos was a godfather to his grandsons Dominic Gonzales and Jacob Brito. Gilbert attended Lincoln Jr. High and Albuquerque High School, where he played basketball and baseball. Gilbert lettered in basketball and was voted MVP for the Albuquerque High Bulldogs. His love of sports continued throughout his lifetime, playing baseball and basketball for many city leagues. Gilbert was an avid sports enthusiast and loved the New York Yankees and Chicago Bears. Gilbert was very proud of his sports Bobble Heads collection, continuously adding to his sports memorabilia. Gilbert was a loving father, and grandfather and friend to many. He was well liked by his co-workers at Sears Logistics, where he worked for over 13 years. Gilbert was a very dedicated and valued employee. The tragic loss of Gilbert Campos will be felt by all who knew and loved him. A visitation was held Wednesday. July 13, 2011. A Rosary will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday July 14, 2011, followed by a Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church. There will be a reception to follow at Henry Campos's residence. Dedicated to my children and, all those who love me, "I'll be there through the rough winds and rain, and ice. I'll be there when the night falls and troubles rise. I'll be there when you need me, no matter what, how or when I'll be there. Whenever you're faced with what you feel like you can't bear. Call on me and I'll be beside you until the end. CHAVEZ -- VIOLA age 77, passed away peacefully the morning of July 2, 2011. Viola is survived y her children, Max and wife, Beth, Olga, David and wife, Teresa, Dennis and wife, Pauline, Lorraine Chavez, Viola "Tootsie" Allen, John and wife, Mary Lou; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; also surviving Viola are her siblings, Rose Martinez and husband, Louie, Lino Torres and wife, Kate, Helen Martinez and husband, Raymond, Libby Marquez, Jerry Torres and wife, Bonnie, Virgie Saiz and husband, Louie; many friends and extended family members. GARCIA -- SIFREDO MARCOS Age 73, a lifelong resident of Sandia Park and Albuquerque, died Sunday, July 10, 2011. He is survived by his son, Christopher Garcia of Albuquerque and two grandchildren; brothers, Ernest Garcia and wife, Isabel, Jose Magdaleno Garcia and wife, Priscilla, Herman Garcia and wife, Lorraine, brother, Edisteo Garcia and brother-in-law, Ben Baldwin; along with many nieces and nephews. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by son, Michael Garcia; brothers and sisters, Beatrice Garcia, Bobbie Baldwin, Nancy Garcia, Solomon Garcia and Cristobal Garcia. Mr. Garcia was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church in Sandia Park New Mexico and worked at Smith's grocery store for many years. He was also a long-time real estate broker for his company Cedar Crest Realty. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at French, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, with Magdaleno Garcia reciting. PADILLA -- MARTINA D. Age 90, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on July 13, 2011 at home with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Padilla is survived by her children, Eloy Padilla Jr., Josephine Padilla, Lorraine P. Spradling, Hortencia Torres and husband, Pete, John Padilla and wife, Angela, and Kris Garcia; her grandchildren, Tina and husband, Steven, Gillian and husband, Wayne, Price and wife, Kathy, Alexandra and husband, Alfred, Sara and husband, Jason, Andrea, Joell and husband, Lawrence, Japhen and wife, Sarah, Johnnah, Sarah Jennifer and husband, Faisal, Tomas, Erin, and Brandan; her great-grandchildren, Cory, Sonny, Nicholas, Luke, Caleb, Leah, Alana, Alfred IV, Marley, and Moses; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Padilla was preceded in death by her husband, of 58 years, Eloy G. Padilla; her son-in-law, John Spradling; and her grandson, Jonathan Spradling. Mrs. Padilla was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, and was very involved in every aspect of her church life. Mrs. Padilla was a class room teacher for the Belen Public Schools for 35 years. Mrs. Padilla will be remembered for her generosity and kindness to all. ATENCIO -- JOE Age 79, went to be with our Lord and Savior Monday, July 4, 2011. He was born on May 22, 1932 in Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan Atencio; son, Keith Atencio and son-in-law, Milo Lovato. Joe is survived by his sons, Joe Atencio and wife Vivian, Steve Atencio, Patrick Atencio, Tommy Atencio; daughters, Kathy Atencio, Sarah Neronha and husband Jeff, Jacqueline Schan and husband Larry, Mikki Lovato, Sonya Atencio and fiance Mark; sisters, Rosella Villa, Lola Ragan and husband Bill; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; niece, Sylvia Serna; and brother-in-law, Max Sanchez. Joe loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them; he will be greatly missed by numerous friends and extended family. MONTOYA -- SARAH L. Age 96, beloved mother and grandmother, left her life on earth to join the Lord and her family in heaven on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. She was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Nestora Lucero; her husband, Louis Montoya; son, James Montoya; brothers, George, Sigfriedo, Jose, Benjamin, Eddie, Max and Pablito; her sisters, Maria, Reina, and Carolina. Sarah is survived by her children, Robert Montoya, Cecilia P. Zamora, Beverly Montoya (Wayne Sandoval; her nephew she raised as her son, Joe (Sonny) Lucero. Our Nana was blessed with eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and other numerous relatives and friends. Sarah's family was truly blessed to have her for 96 years. She will be missed dearly. A Rosary will be recited today (Sunday) at 4:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Service of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park. Casket Bearers will be Jeffrey Mora, Jason Romero, Joshua Benavidez, Michael Cervantes, Daniel Zamora and Wayne Sandoval.
