Robles -- Mr. Manuel Robles, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 10, 2000. Mr. Robles is survived by his daughters, Gloria Zamora and husband, David and Mary E. Chacon; one son, Sonny Robles and wife, Lillie; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Ramona Gonzales and husband Jack; four brothers, Joseph Robles and wife, Susie, Phillip Robles and wife, Isabel, Tom Robles and wife, Orpha and Orlando Robles and wife, Georgia; several nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. Mr. Robles was a member of the Catholic Church. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier, 817 Arno S.E. Private disposition will take place. Steinbach -- Thomas Martin Steinbach, Jr., 50, died Monday morning February 7, 2000 in Albuquerque. Born in Chicago, IL, he was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria. He is survived by his father, Thomas, Sr.; and by his siblings, Tasia, Paul, Peter, and David. A lifelong designer and builder of fine furniture, cabinets, and musical instruments, Tom practiced his craft in Chicago, Tucson, Dallas, and Albuquerque. Tom used the same craftsman's care to help raise his siblings and to nurture his many friendships. We love you, Sir Tom. He will be included in the daily prayers at the 5:00 p.m. Chapel Mass at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 5415 Fortuna NW, on Thursday February 24.

Cullom -- Robert F. Cullom, 75, passed away Monday, February 7, 2000, after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 6, 1924 and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1971. He is survived by his wife, Gayle; his daughter, Penny Fogleman and husband, Ed Fogleman; sons, Jeff Cullom and Scott Cullom and wife, Amy; grandsons, Robert, David, Zach, Seth and Wesley; step-son, Bruce Tweeten and wife, Jody; and step-daughter, Jan Tweeten and fiance, Kevin Pennyweight. He was preceded in death by Shirley, his wife of 39 years. He attended Purdue University before joining the U.S. Air Force in 1944. Bob flew B-24's, B-25's, KC 97's and DC'3's. He served in the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict, receiving numerous citations, including The Bronze Star for meritorious service in 1966. After leaving the Air Force in 1976 as a Lt. Colonel, he continued his education obtaining his business degree from the University of Albuquerque in May 1977, graduating"Cum Laude." Bob enjoyed traveling, golf, and most of all, being with his family. His many friends and family will miss him more than words can say. Services will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeff Cullom, Scott Cullom, Ed Fogleman, George Mombell, David Anderson and Gale Larsen. Sanchez -- Henry G. Sanchez Sr., 96, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 8, 2000. Mr. Sanchez was born on September 3, 1903 in Glencoe, NM to the late Salomon and Josephine Sanchez; he was a lifelong rancher in Lincoln, NM, where he broke horses; he loved playing with his precious grandchildren, hunting, fishing, gardening and the great outdoors. He married the love of his life, Carolina Sanchez, 65 years ago, who preceded him in death in 1990. He is survived by his loving children, Henry Sanchez Jr. and wife, Erma of Lincoln, NM, Jean Osuna and husband, Bill of San Antonio, TX, Alfred Sanchez and his family, also of Lincoln and Albuquerque, and Patricia Vigil and husband, Henry of Albuquerque; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Carlos Sanchez and wife, Alvesa of Ruidoso, NM, Albert Sanchez and wife, Eva of San Patricio, NM, Porfiro Sanchez and his family of Gavilan, NM; one sister, Eufrasia Romero of Tularosa, NM; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1:00 p.m. at San Juan Catholic Church in Lincoln, NM. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery, also in Lincoln, NM. Casket bearers will be David Osuna, Gary Sanchez, Pat Baca, Victor Vigil, Steven Sanchez and Brandon Trivett. Garcia -- Frank Garcia Jr., 59, a resident of Belen, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2000. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and"La Grand Pastorella". Frank retired from Sandia National Laboratories after 30 years of dedicated service. He was also a science mentor for high schools throughout New Mexico. Frank was currently working at the Wells Fargo Bank (main branch) on 2nd and Lomas, where he was known as"Sarge". He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma O. and Frank C. Garcia; brother, Lindy Garcia. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Ruth of the family home; his children, Margie Villella and her husband, Anthony, Corrine Patterson and her husband, Garry, Frank Garcia and his wife, Ronda, Edwin Garcia and his wife, Andrea, Diane Garcia, and David Garcia; three sisters, Dylia Castillo, Norine Gabler and her husband, Harold, Geraldine Bustamante and her husband, Gene; three granddaughters; eight grandsons. A viewing will be held on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Arnold -- Henry Arnold, age 79, and a resident of New Mexico for 45 years died Saturday, February 5, 2000 in a local hospital following an illness. Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife, Jo Arnold of Albuquerque; three sons, Tommy Arnold of San Diego, CA, Michael Arnold of Laguna Beach, CA and David Arnold of Albuquerque. He is also survived by one sister, Betty Ledbetter of Carrollton, TX; two brothers, W.T. Arnold of Las Vegas, NV and Denson Arnold of Farmington, NM; and six grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, with Pastor Larry Pierson officiating. Arka -- Leona A. Arka, beloved aunt, sister and friend to many, died after a valiant battle with time. She is survived by a sister, Norma Horst of Albuquerque; a niece, Merideth Barroso (Francisco) of Fairfax, VA, a niece, Linda Clawson (David) of Albuquerque, a niece, Kelle Sessions of Nampa, ID; a great-nephew, Chris Clawson (Tina) of Albuquerque, a great-nephew, Jason Clawson of Pasadena, CA; other family members in Chicago and many friends. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 25, 1914 and lived there until she moved to Albuquerque in 1979. She was a gentle soul with a heart of gold who saw the good in everyone. We will all miss her.
