GARCIA -- Betty L. Garcia, 61, a resident of Albuquerque for 41 years, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Abelio "Abe" R. Garcia of Albuquerque; four children, William "B.J." Garcia and wife Karen, Nadine Garcia and Rudy Gurule; Kathy Garcia and husband David and Danny Garcia and wife Maria Anaya, the youngest son of Betty; son-in-law, Anthony Garcia; five grandchildren, Jeremy Garcia, Janice Garcia, David Garcia, John Gurule and Julian Garcia. Betty was a life member of the American Legion Post 13, DAV., and VFW 6216. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, December 7, 2004. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am on Wednesday, December 8, 2004. OLGUIN -- Theresa Olguin, 69, our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, was born March 22, 1935 in Magdalena, NM. She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2004. Theresa was employed at Levi Strauss for 18 years. Her greatest love was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Theresa was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gillie Olguin; grandson, Reyes Apodaca; father, Leondro Zamora; and brother, Paul Zamora. She is survived by her mother, Josefita Zamora; children, Anthony Olguin and wife Bertha, Joseph Olguin and wife Stephanie, David Olguin and wife Elvie, Anna Apodaca and husband Carlos, Evelyn Brannen and husband David of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Amador, Gabriel and Margo Olguin, Desiree Kearney and husband Shaun, Deidre, Brandis, Aryssa and Joshua Olguin, Erica Olguin, Miquela, Emilia and Sofia Apodaca, Kellsie, Sarah, Sawyer and Kaitlin Brannen; great-grandchildren, Anthony Olguin, Rose Kelley Kearney and Jude Chavez; sisters, Emma Zamora, Stella Vargas and husband Pete; in- laws, Bennie Zamora, Aurelia and Pete Jaramillo of Jarales; and aunt, Margaret Sedillo, of Lakeside, AZ. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 10:00 am, with Fr. Ron Carrillo as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Honorary pallbearers will include, Amador Olguin, Gabriel Olguin, Anthony Olguin II, Joshua Olguin, and Jude Chavez. GORDON -- Ted J. Gordon, 92, peacefully passed away November 29, 2004 surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by Mary Gordon, his wife of 50 years. He is survived by his beloved companion of 18 years, Cledith Daugherty; daughters, Dorothy and Donna; grandchildren, David, Mark, Tina, and Jimmy. Ted served in the U.S. Army as a decorated Tech Sergeant during WWII, surviving as a POW. His decorations included European, African, Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbons with two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. Ted was a resident of Albuquerque and a member of The American Legion Post 49 and Calvary Chapel. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be Friday, December 3, 2004. Interment at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at 9:30 am. Memorial Services are at 1:00 pm at Calvary Chapel, located on Osuna near Jefferson.

COLE -- Harold W. Cole, 83, resident of Albuquerque, passed away on November 29, 2004 at Manor Care Alzheimer Unit. His loving wife and childhood friend, "Ellen" Helen, married 63 years, survives him. He was preceded in death by his only son, Gregory L. Cole in 2000. He is also survived by grandson, Gregory Cole Jr.; granddaughter, Michelle Cole; daughter, Lana J. Johnson-Chulak and husband, David; his grandson, Kenneth Lee Johnson and wife, Valerie; great-grandson, Kenneth Dean; daughter Merrie Alice Basham; grandson, Brandon; and granddaughter, Kendell. Harold served in the military during WWII. He also was a jazz musician (drummer) during the Big Band Era and worked as a dedicated furniture salesman at American Furniture for 27 years. During his retirement, he volunteered with the New Mexico Parks, the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and Hodgin Elementary as a homework helper. He also received the Jefferson Award in 1998. Private services will be held for the family per his request. The family's sincere thanks and love to all of the Manor Care Alzheimer Unit on Lester Drive NE and the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Albuquerque who provided loving care during his last days. GARNER -- WAYNETTE KAYE GARNER, 34, a resident of Stanley, NM and loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, and aunt, was taken home to be with our Lord and Savior on November 29, 2004. Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Silver City, NM with Pastor Robert Brazier officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Waynette was born July 15, 1970 in Albuquerque to Wayne G. and Barbara (Montgomery) Wallace. She married her husband, Joe Don Garner on April 13, 1991 in Silver City. She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Joe Garner; two beautiful girls, Kelsey Christine and Lacy Elizabeth; her grandmother, Helen Montgomery; parents, Wayne G. and Barbara Wallace; her mother-in-law, Jonni Jameson; two brothers, Michael Lee and David Wallace; three sisters, Joyce Wallace, Kimberly Klump, and Heidi Coggins; eight nephews; two nieces; in-laws and friends who will miss her greatly. TRUJILLO -- Rosita M. Trujillo went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2004 at the age of 80. She was born on February 6, 1924 in Torreon, New Mexico. Mrs. Trujillo is survived by her sons, Julian Trujillo and wife Susie and Michael Trujillo; daughters, Liz Mata and husband Michael, Lorina Justus, Connie Lopez and husband Robert, Eleanor Trujillo, Martha Trujillo, Mildred Martinez and Georgianna Jaramillo; brothers, Feliciano Chavez and wife Reina, Joe Chavez and wife Aurora, Elfego Chavez and wife Reyna, Gabriel Chavez and wife Lucy, Melcor Chavez Jr., Gilbert Chavez and wife Rachel, Sal Chavez and Cecil Chavez and wife Emma; sisters, Juanita Otero, Candelaria Garcia, Eulalia Gutierrez, Peggy Pohl and husband Herman and Sylvia Castillo and husband Wilfred; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. N.E. BAILEY -- Linda Bailey, 57, a resident of Clovis, died Tuesday, November 30, 2004, in Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Bailey of Clovis; two sons, Ed Bogle and wife, Christine of Rio Rancho; Rick Bogle and wife, Dori of Albuquerque; step-daughter, Andrea King and husband, David of Birmingham, AL; and fourteen grandchildren. Linda graduated from Sandia High School in 1965. She married George Bogle after graduation; after their divorce, she married Jerry Bailey in 1981. She was a graduate of Clovis Community College School of Nursing in 1995. She worked as a Registered Nurse for various Home Health Organizations in Clovis, Amarillo, Friona and Albuquerque, most recently Heritage Home Health. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, December 2, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE.
