Betty L. Garcia, 61, a resident of Albuquerque for 41 years, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Abelio "Abe" R. Garcia of Albuquerque; four children, William "B.J." Garcia and wife Karen, Nadine Garcia and Rudy Gurule; Kathy Garcia and husband David and Danny Garcia and wife Maria Anaya, the youngest son of Betty; son-in-law, Anthony Garcia; five grandchildren, Jeremy Garcia, Janice Garcia, David Garcia, John Gurule and Julian Garcia. Betty was a life member of the American Legion Post 13, DAV., and VFW 6216. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, December 7, 2004. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am on Wednesday, December 8, 2004.
