MARTINEZ -- Frank Martinez, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, but born and raised in Socorro, New Mexico passed away on January 18, 2010. Mr. Martinez is survived by his children; Elizabeth Rose, Michael Martinez, Alan Martinez and Lawrence Sanchez; brothers: Julio Martinez, Candido Martinez, Samuel Martinez; sisters: Rosie Gallegos, Beatrice Griegos Judy Risienger and Terry Yannacci; grandchildren: Heidi Ortegel and husband David, Lorenzo Sanchez; and great-grandchildren: Audreanna Martinez and Brielle Ortegal. Frank Martinez was preceded in death by his parents, Candido And Mary Martinez; and brothers, Robert and David Martinez. Frankie Martinez was the owner and operator of Nob Ill Shoe Repair for 35 years in Albuquerque. CUDWORTH -- Ilene Cudworth went to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 14, 2010. Ilene was born in Elgin, Illinois on May 27, 1926. She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Hultberg of Oundle, England; three grandchildren, Brendon, Brian and Alexis Gallegos; five great-grandchildren, Elena Martinez-Gallegos, Hailey, Abigail, Brendon Jr. and Bernadette Gallegos, all of Albuquerque, and other family and friends who loved her and will miss her. PEREA -- Mr. Mariano "Steve" Perea, 51, proud owner of Pereas Janitorial, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010. He was called home to be with the Lord and his loving parents, Arsenio and Rosemary Perea. He is survived by his loving daughter, Jeanette Cuevas; and her husband, Adam; and their three beautiful children, Adan, Selena, and Anthony. He is survived by his ex-wife, Prescilla Salazar and husband, Thomas. He is survived by his sister, Jesusita "Cita" Anaya and husband Ralph; his niece, Emily M. Werley and son, Julian Gallegos; nephew, Arsenio Anaya and fiancee, Erika and their three children, Brianna, Mariah and Joaquin. He is also survived by his beloved aunt, Helen Yanni; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. His longtime friend and employee, Linda Potter; and also longtime friend who looked to Mariano as a father figure, Richard Baca. Funeral services for Mr. Perea will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the St. Jude Parish Church. GALLEGOS -- Teresa Gallegos, passed away on January 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her father, Toribio Segura; her brother, Mario P. Segura; and her sister, Josephine Segura. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia and fiance Danny Romero; her mother, Isabel Segura; her brothers, Jerry Segura and Johnny Segura; her sister, Martha Segura; grandchildren, David and Desauri Maestas, Rick Chavez, Andrew and Sophia Chavez; great- grandchildren, Orlando, Josiah, Jenessy, Andrew Jr., Marcos, Jeremy, Phillip and Max; her great aunt, Ida Montoya; and many other family members and friends. Teresa was retired from the City of Santa Fe Water Division. She was very caring to everyone she knew and her family was always a priority especially her grandchildren, whom she loved very much. Thank you to Espanola Presbyterian Hospital for the utmost care and to Ambercare Hospice for help with her care and all the information they provided. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimers Association, NM Chapter c/o Linda Durant, Las Vegas Branch in memory of Theresa Gallegos. A Visitation will be held at McGee Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 14, 2010 with a Rosary to follow at 6: 30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
