PARKER -- Cluster Parker, 82, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Pat Messimer-Thorn of Moriarty; son, Ronald Parker of Lubbock Texas; grandsons, Vince Messimer and wife, Sharon of Woodlands, TX, John Messimer of Albuquerque, Rod Parker of Lubbock, TX; great-grandchildren, James Messimer, Alexandra Messimer and John Messimer; sisters, Betty and Helen; and brother, Eugene. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Exie Mae in 1997. Mr. Parker retired from Joy Manufacturing in Houston, TX and worked for ACF Industries in Albuquerque. He was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII. Mr. Parker was a member of Masonic Lodge, and a member and past director of National Management Association. Services will be held Friday, July 23, 2004, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Wallace Cobb, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. STEPHENS -- Stephen C. Stephens, 61, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Kay of the family home; son, James Thomas Stephens of Albuquerque; brother, J. T. Stephens and wife, Berna Deen of Carlsbad, NM; four sisters, Dorothy Virden of Gardnerville, NV; Mary Scholle, Kathy Rumbaugh and husband, Benton, and Patricia Bush of Roswell, NM. His brother, Luther Stephens, preceded him in death. TIMMONS -- James Timmons, 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died on July 20, 2004. He is survived by his four children, Michael E. Timmons of Albuquerque, Jerry E. Timmons and wife, Linda of Albuquerque, J. Mark Timmons and wife, Peggy of Austin, TX and Lynda D. Heaney and husband, Henry of Lubbock, TX; father's wife, Illene Timmons of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren, Michelle, Brandon, Heather, Monica, Jason, Amy, Luanita, Christina, Steven, and Bryan; and five great-grandchildren, Megan, Aiko, Riley, Eli, and Tora; one brother, Walter Ray Timmons and wife, Gretchen of Portland, OR; sister, Betty Louise Lytle and husband, Jim of Lawrenceburg, IN; brother-in-law, Nelson Sherrill of Arlington, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara and a sister, Frances Sherrill. James was born in Vaughan, NM on September 27, 1933 to Sam and Naomi Timmons. The Timmons family migrated to New Mexico in the 1860's. In the early 1940s James's family moved to Clovis, NM where James learned to farm and went to school. James graduated from Clovis High School in 1951 and married his high school sweetheart, Barbara in 1953, and served his country in the Army at Ft. Bliss, TX from 1953 to 1955. After he was discharged, James and Barbara moved to Albuquerque, NM where the family has remained. During James's long life, he worked for the railroad, in construction as a heavy equipment mechanic and welder, and has farmed in the Alameda and Corrales area. He retired from farming around 1995 and retired from Sparling Construction in 2002. James was a member of the Bosque Cuadrillas Square Dance Club, The Lobo Club, and was involved in the 4H Club, and Bernalillo County Extension Service. He was a member of Harwood United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Operating Engineers Local Union in Albuquerque. Service will take place on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Harwood United Methodist Church, 420 San Lorenzo NW, with Pastor Chere Lyon officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. ALDRIDGE -- Caroline Aldridge, 67, died on July 17, 2004, following a short illness. She was a long term resident of Jackson, Mississippi, prior to moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico. In Mississippi she was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and later of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She worked at the Mississippi State Department of Health for 40 years before retirement in Albuquerque. In New Mexico Caroline became an active member of Hoffmantown Church and taught children's Sunday School classes. Caroline was also a dedicated volunteer with Noon Day Ministries and with children at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Caroline was and is well known for her love of children, her joyous celebration of the holidays and special occasions, and her giving nature. She is survived by her nieces, Vicky Keith and Dorothy Ripley, both of Albuquerque; her niece, Lucie Aldridge Fralicks of Bedford, TX; her nephew, James Aldridge of Beaumont,TX; and by great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Ruth Aldridge; her sister, Mary Ann Vittitoe; and her brother, James Aldridge. A memorial service for Caroline, conducted by Pastor Moore, will be held at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors, in Albuquerque, NM, on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to Noon Day Ministries, 101 Broadway Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. DOW -- Arthur "Honey" Dow, 76, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died on July 20, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Dow of Albuquerque; six children, Liz Dow-Rubio and husband, John of Rio Rancho, Leonard Lincoln Dow and wife, Linda of Austin, TX, Arthur J. Dow, Jr., and wife, Cathy, Alfred Paul Dow and fiancee, Vicky, Howard Lee Dow and wife, Mary Hellen and Yvette Lopez and husband, David, all of Albuquerque; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Leo Dow, Ernest Dow and wife, Florence, Archie Dow and wife, Ramona, Orlando Dow and wife, Helen and Robert Dow, all of Albuquerque; dear sister-in-law, Priscilla Dow of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elisha and Claudina Dow; son, John Michael Dow; brother, Jimmy Dow; three grandchildren, Lincoln Paul, Derek James and Eryn Lynn. Arthur was a member of the New Mexico Retail Liquor Dealers Association, New Mexico Amigos, Elks Club, Lobo Club, Petroleum Club, NM Board of Realtors and the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce. Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 23rd, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper NW with Father Edmundo Rodriguez, celebrant.. HAWKINS -- James Lyndon Hawkins, 69, passed away on July 10, 2004 following a long illness. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Hawkins. Jim is survived by his grandchildren, Cheri L. and Christopher N. Otto; stepdaughter, Dianne S. Otto and husband, James, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his sister, Joan K. Stuefen and husband, John of New Hope, MN, as well as nephew, Michael Stuefen, of Minneapolis, MN; nieces, Kathy Stuefen, Anoka, MN, Susan Stuefen, Minneapolis, MN and Carrie Bates, Champlin, MN; as well as several grand-nieces and -nephews. Jim was born on March 11, 1935, to Lyndon and Hilda Hawkins in Monticello, Minnesota. After serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force he pursued a career in computer programming from which he retired in 1986. He married his wife Marilyn on June 9, 1973 and they moved to Albuquerque in August 1986 to be near family. Prior to his illness, he was very active in the congregation of Shepherd Lutheran Church. HEATH -- James Ray Heath, 34, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 1, 2004. He is survived by his son, Justin Heath; parents, Lucky and Nita Heath of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Missy Heath of Carlsbad; nieces, AshLynn and KateLynn Lunsford of Carlsbad; grandmother, Naomi Bunch of Carlsbad; grandparents, Hollis and Mildred Heath of Carlsbad; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at the Highland Theater. Refreshments will be served after the service.
