He is survived by his wife, Kay of the family home; son, James Thomas Stephens of Albuquerque; brother, J. T. Stephens and wife, Berna Deen of Carlsbad, NM; four sisters, Dorothy Virden of Gardnerville, NV; Mary Scholle, Kathy Rumbaugh and husband, Benton, and Patricia Bush of Roswell, NM. His brother, Luther Stephens, preceded him in death. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, interment to follow.
