BLAKE, DANIEL D. JR. Age 47, beloved Son, Brother, Father and Grandfather, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015. He was born September 17, 1966 in Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel Blake Sr.; brother John Louis Blake and long-lost love Angela Martinez. He is survived by his loving mother Mary Jane Blake; daughters Desiree Vigil, Leticia Martinez, Destiny Blake and Cssandra Barros; sisters Anna and Nikki Blake; grandkids, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. SANCHEZ FOREMAN, TILLIE I. age 89, born September 29, 1925 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to her parents Justo Sanchez Jr., and Lucy, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at her son's home with her family at her side. Tillie is survived by her son, Robby Sanchez and wife, Lisa; step-son, J.C Foreman and wife, Pam; step-daughters, Sandi Hanscom and husband, Jim, and Mona Foreman; grandchildren, Matthew Sanchez and wife, Candace Marie, Dominic Sanchez, Bryan Pacheco, Brittany, Jackie, Sarah, and Lexis Foreman; Kayla, Ryan, and Eddie James; niece, Marie Cravey; great-grandchildren, Daniel and wife, Amy, Justin, Nathan, and Nicholas; and one great-great-grandchild, Ava. Tillie went on to share her life and was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Bobby Sanchez, and James C. Foreman; sister, Priscilla Diaz; and niece Margie Saavedra Chavez. Tillie is loved and cherished by us and many others. She was a wonderful mother. She made us strong to endure life, she taught us how to find happiness in the face of disaster, she made us challenge ourselves when we were uncomfortable, she taught us to be honest, caring, to have dignity, and to always value yourself. Tillie shared her love, her wisdom, her will to love life and all it brings. She has had many peaks and valleys, highlights and adventures in her 89 years of life, more than most of us. She lived everyday with passion to do her best and to be happy. She is now on her journey into somewhere we will all meet again. She shared her childhood with sister, Priscilla. Tillie worked for her father at the family owned Arrow Super Market located in the Barelas-South Fourth Street Historic District as a bookkeeper. As a lifelong resident of the South Valley, Tillie was passionate and true to her background and culture. All who knew her during these years recall her passion for bowling, fishing, blackjack, cooking, puzzles, gardening, and her love for animals including her dog, Zorro. Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW from 8:00 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Sanchez, Dominic Sanchez, Nathan Pacheco, Rudy Sanchez, Frank Sanchez, and J.C. Foreman. PEDROZA, HENRY HORACIO Age 90, born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015. He was born on September 20, 1924, to Rafael and Dolores (Medrano) Pedroza. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Elizabeth Pedroza. Henry is survived by his daughter, Theresa Boedigheimer and husband Gene of Papillion, NE; grandchildren, Renee Korus and husband Alvin of Hudson, MA, Jeremy Boedigheimer of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Jackson Korus, Skylar Korus, Jazz Boedigheimer; siblings, Margarita Archibeque of Albuquerque, NM, Raul Pedroza and wife Chris of Belen, NM. Henry proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked in the Engineering Aerospace Industry. GEORGE, DARRYL L. George was born September 29, 1966 in Ft. Myers, Florida. He passed away suddenly Sunday, February 1, 2015. Darryl will be remembered for his love of professional football, the Miami Dolphins and for his love of watching and attending professional wrestling. As well, he was well liked and respected by his colleagues, serving as manager of McDonalds, Burger King and Sonic restaurants. He will be greatly missed. Darryl is survived by his wife, Polly George; son, Nathaniel George; step daughters, Cassandra and Amanda; mother, Joanne Casias and husband Phil; twin brother, Gregory George; sister, Melanie Alderdice and husband Daniel; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. ROMERO, JEANETTE S. Our beloved mother Jeanette S. Romero born September 19, 1962 and passed away January 31, 2015. She is survived by her daughter Elodia Marrufo and husband Juan; sons Christopher Gutierrez and wife Andriana, Adam Gutierrez, and Jose Zuniga; brother Humberto; sisters Julie, Brenda, Nora, Debbie; and has 14 grandchildren. SALAZAR, CONNIE ROSEMARY Connie Rosemary Salazar born in Santa Fe, NM to Julian Roybal and Prone Martinez Salazar on September 22, 1960. Connie was preceded in death by both parents and brothers, Felix Martinez and Richard "Ricky" Salazar. She is survived by many who will always lovingly cherish her memory. Her daughter Christy Nieto; sons Gilbert Salazar and Herman "Gordo" Garley; grandchildren: Devin Nieto, Julian Nieto, Starr Nieto, Francisco "Kiko" Nieto, Gilbert Salazar, Jr., Stormi Salazar, Nathan Garley, Raylynn Garcia and Lexi Garcia; great-granddaughter Anastasia Isabel Nieto; sisters Tillie Tafoya, Clorinda Vigil (Steve Vigil), Mona Lopez; brother Chris "Pino" Martinez; and sister-in-law Judy Martinez. Shirley was a devoted and caring wife, mother and homemaker to her husband of 50 years, Billy R. Bryant and their five kids, the 5 D's, David, Dan, Debbie, Doug and Diana. STERNE, BRYCE WARE Bryce (Ware) Sterne, 72, Rio Rancho, NM, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, January 23, 2015 after a brief illness. Born September 23, 1942 in Amarillo, TX, he grew up in Severance, KS and lived in St. Joseph, MO, Davenport, IA, Indianapolis, IN and Toledo, OH. He moved to NM in 1986 establishing a Dr. Vinyl franchise in Albuquerque / Rio Rancho with his son, Douglas. Ware was a man that was passionate about golf and his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, crafting many beautiful items for friends and family. Surviving are his sons, Douglas Detwieler and wife Tami, Rio Rancho, NM; son, Dean Sterne, Tempe AZ; brother Kenneth Sterne and wife Judith, Alexandria VA; grandson, Jared Detwieler; granddaughter, Kaitlin Smith and husband, Matthew, Rio Rancho, NM; two great-granddaughters, Chyanne Bicknell and Tagan Smith; aunt, Phyllis Rumsey, Maryville, MO; cousins, Charlie Ware of Maryville, MO, Cynthia Grooms, Kansas City, MO, Barbara Collins, Highland, KS, and Karen Musselman, Arvada, CO.
