Philgreen -- Floyd A. Philgreen, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, passed away in a local nursing home Tuesday, December 29, 1998. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth E. Philgreen of the family home; one daughter, Linda E. Philgreen, Shawnee, KS; two step-sons, Thomas Snook and wife, Rose Fehr, Tijeras, NM, and Herbert Snook; two sisters, Lillian Van Arsdale and husband, John, Lawson, MO, and Eunice M. Martin and husband, Gorby, Shawnee, KS; one brother, Edward Philgreen, Washington, IA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the world's greatest grandfather to six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Boy Scouts, was a Scout Master on the District Committee, and Institutional Representative of the Eagle Scouts since 1934, was a member of Desert Swingers Square Dancing Club and member of Presbyterian Auxiliary Health Care. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 9, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. James Massey officiating. Interment of his cremated remains will be in Sandia Memory Gardens. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal SE, in charge of arrangements.

Sena -- Martin T. Sena, age 95, born November 11, 1903, passed away January 3, 1999. Martin was one of five children born to Juan Sena and Trinidad Sierra Sena. Starting at the age of 13, he worked as a cowboy on ranches in Guadeloupe and San Miguel Counties and most of his life was spent as a rancher raising cattle and Quarter horses north of Cuervo. During the drought in the mid 1950's he worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad. In the mid 1960's he opened and ran a gasoline service station in Cuervo and continued to operate it until 1988. He has been residing in Albuquerque since 1988 and was at Camino Vista Nursing Home for the past 1 1/2 years. He was preceded in death by his sister and three brothers, his son-in-law, Johnny Lewis, and his grandson, Martin Lewis. He is survived by the mother of his daughters, Cecilia Sena; his daughters, Marta Lewis of Cuervo and Pat Bonham and husband, A.J. of Albuquerque; grandson, Jonnell Lewis of Cuervo; brother, Horace Maes of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Ramona Sena of San Antonio, TX along with many friends and other relatives. He is also survived by Jimmy Lucero who was a very special cousin to Martin. His life was made more complete because of the help and friendship he received from his"Primo", Benito Sena of Albuquerque. He was a member of the New Mexico Cattle Growers Association, American Quarter horse Association and was active in the Republican Party of New Mexico. Martin loved horses and cattle and enjoyed seeing a good horse in action and it was common to see him at rodeos and ropings throughout the area. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 6, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Johnny Sena, Bill Ross, Joe Dominguez, Ed Urioste, Chris Urioste, and Frank Page will serve as pallbearers. Procopio Dominguez and Benito Sena are honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Mexico Boys Ranch, 775 Hwy 304, Belen, NM 87002, or Cal Farley Boys Ranch, Amarillo, TX. Tomlinson -- Peggy Tomlinson, 78, a former resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, December 31, 1998 in Tucson, AZ. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Tomlinson and wife, Celia of Albuquerque, Joseph Tomlinson and wife, Bertha of Tucson, AZ, Michael Tomlinson and wife, Jan of Los Alamos, NM, and Gary Hubbard and wife, Mickie of Albuquerque; daughter, Patricia Towsley and husband, Earl of Visallia, CA; sister, Pat Renault and husband, George of Arlington, VA; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Tomlinson. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, 9:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Frank See officiating.

Wittler -- Hans Otto Wittler, 64, beloved husband, father and Opa, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 4, 1999. Hans Otto was born on April 3, 1934 in Bielefeld, Germany. In January of 1958, Hans Otto moved to Albuquerque and in 1959 he was drafted into the United States Armed Forces. After serving two years of active duty in Panama, he continued his military service in the Reserves. In 1974, Hans Otto and his wife opened Hans Wittler's Automotive. He was a well-respected mechanic and Porsche expert, as well as a founding member of the Porsche Club of America. Hans Otto was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Christel; his sons, Roger Wittler, wife, Kristy and granddaughter, Riley Adell, Andreas Wittler and his wife, Heather; sister, Rosie Wittler of Lengerich, Germany; sister-in-law, Ursula and husband, Ervin, nephew, Rainer Zander, all of Bielefeld, Germany, as well as many close friends. Services will beheld Friday, January 8, 1999 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Internment will follow. Pallbearers will be Roger Wittler, Andreas Wittler, Terry Riordan, Bob Gilbert, Bob Stetz and Don Mulder. Friends may pay their respects at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, Thursday, January 7, 1999, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. .DMP

Bonteaux -- Joyce Audine Bonteaux passed away after a brief illness on December 31, 1998. She is survived by her mother, Genevieve Bonto; loving partner, Matalie Wham; daughters, Julie Beadle and husband, Rod, Amy Beegle and fiance, Mike Hawrylyez; son, Mark Beegle and fiancee, Mary Nolasco; former husband, Richard Beegle. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. G. Virgil Bonto. Born September 26, 1943 in Aurora, IL, she went to school in Kansas and Nebraska before moving to Albuquerque in 1965. She received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from UNM and was the Center Director of YDI Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Child Development Center. She was a charter member and elder of the New Life Presbyterian Church and an active member of other community organizations. Above all, she cherished her family and many friends. She was a woman of spirit, purpose, compassion, wisdom and expressed her love of life and passion for people through music, laughter, tears and hugs. She was a genius in her ability to listen and envelope others in her quiet assurance. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her memory to the New Life Presbyterian Church, All Faiths Family Counseling Services, NM Advocates for Children, Youth and Families, Rape Crisis Center, or the NM Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Memorial services will be held January 6, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at the New Life Presbyterian Church, 5540 Eubank Blvd. NE, Albuquerque. Davie -- Kenneth L. Davie, a resident of Albuquerque for 4 1/2 years, died Saturday, January 2, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Nellie of the family home; son, Neil Davie and wife, Susan of Cedar Crest; and grandchildren, Angela, Adam and Melissa Davie of Cedar Crest. Mr. Davie was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He served in the U.S. Navy and Merchant Marines and was a World War II veteran. Mr. Davie was a mechanical engineer with the Rock Island Illinois Arsenal, retiring in 1980. After his retirement, he pursued watercolor painting and his work was exhibited in numerous shows and galleries. Mr. Davie was a member of the Albuquerque Watercolor Society, Friends of Art, and the Left Bank Art League in Rock Island, IL. In 1994, Kenneth and Nellie Davie moved to Albuquerque from Rock Island, Illinois and are members of St. John's Methodist Church. Cremation has taken place. Jones -- Mary E. Jones, 54, a resident of Albuquerque died Friday, January 1, 1999. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charles Jones; and their loving daughter, Tonie Baker of Albuquerque; mother, Jovita Cook of Topeka, KS; sisters, Cindy Evarts of Topeka,KS, Rita Dickens of Kathleen, GA, Martha Mason of Tennessee, and Bernadette Cory of Norwalk, OH; brothers, Charles Mason, and Albert Mason of Topeka, KS. Mary was a member of the SMC-TE Wives Club at KAFB. Lambert -- Daniel K. Lambert, 31, born May 31, 1967 in Albuquerque, died suddenly Tuesday December 29, 1998 in a truck rollover, but in reality it was alcoholism that took him at such an early age. He is survived by his loving family, mother, Barbara Cloud, husband, Ernie; father, Robert Lambert; sister, Kathryn Rolston, husband, Bob; and Dan's niece, Desiree Rolston; and nephew, Brian Rolston, grandfather, Boyce Clark; uncle, Jerry Clark, wife, Mickey and family; cousin, Paul Clark; as well as Dan's devoted dog, Sheila. Dan was a 1985 graduate of El Dorado High School. He was a licensed plumber for ten years. He also was an avid outdoorsman and nature lover. He liked hunting, camping, fishing and hiking. Dan was a loved son and brother and loved his family in return. He had a beautiful Christmas with his entire family this year. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 1999, at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd. SE at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the National Council on Alcoholism, 148 Washington SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, phone (505) 256-8300, in Dan's Memory.
