Charles was a retired veteran having served 20 years in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by brother, Anthony Cooper; father, Charles H. GONZALES, RAYLYNN RENEE RayLynn Renee Gonzales 6/26/95-2/23/12 Three years have passed, and three years you have been missed. Not a day goes by without a memory spoken of you or a thought sent to heaven by someone who loves you. We try to keep our smiles as you would want us to, even if it is to hide our tears. DOW, RAMONA Beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend lost her battle with cancer on February 14, 2015. She was born on June 17, 1936 in Santa Fe. NM. Ramona loved the outdoors, cooking, and her beloved animals. She and Archie were avid Lobos fans for years. Ramona is preceded in death by her husband, Archie Dow; her parents, Filiberto and Remigia Tapia; brother, Joe Leonard. She is survived by her two brothers, Frank Tapia, Carlos Tapia; three sisters, Mary Tapia, Stella Tapia, Betty Armijo and husband, Michael; four brothers in law, Leo Dow, Ernest Dow and wife, Florence, Orlando Dow and wife, Helen, Robert Dow; two sisters in law, Mary Dow and Priscilla Dow; many special nieces, nephews and their families. Ramona was a devoted Christian, Jesus was Lord of her life. Her family is grateful for the care given to her by Dr. Muller, UNM Cancer Center, Heartland Enriching Life Hospice service in her final two weeks. Special thanks to Father Carlos Gonzales for his weekly visits and administering weekly holy communion, and to her cousin Jane Olonia for her weekly visits. Pallbearers will be Carl Armijo, Eric Armijo, Michael Armijo Jr., Brian Chavez, Fil Martinez, Jonathan Martinez. Ramona will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Visitation will take place Sunday, February 22, 2015, from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary~Chapel of Angels,717 Stover Ave. SW, Albuquerque, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. TRUJILLO, JUAN JOSE Age 84, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away February 10, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Irene A. Trujillo of Albuquerque; stepchildren, Theresa Ruiz and husband Manuel, Rebecca Campa, and Rafael Gonzales; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Alecio Trujillo and wife Pricilla; sisters, Nestora Bernardo, Carolina Trujillo, and Lucy Sawyer; eight nephews and seven nieces; a large extended family, many friends, and his fellow disabled veterans. Mr. Trujillo was preceded in death by his parents, Petrolino and Seferina Trujillo; and his sister, Veronica Trujillo. Juan was born in Mosquero, NM March 20, 1930 to Petrolino and Seferina Trujillo; the second eldest of six children. After graduating from Mosquero High School, Juan joined the United States Air Force and served his country with great bravery and pride becoming a Disabled American Veteran. Juan married the love of his life, Irene Gonzales, on May 10, 1980. In their 34 years of marriage, Juan and Irene shared many joyous and memorable days. Juan was a committed member of his community, a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, an adventurous uncle, and a caring and lively grandfather and great-grandfather. Juan was a true American hero to his country and his family and he will be sincerely missed. "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count.
