ARMIJO -- Margaret A. Armijo, 84, of Los Ranchos, New Mexico, passed away on March 1, 2011. Margaret was born on September 8, 1926 in Berwind, CO, a small mining camp. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eutimio Abeyta and Beatrice Saiz Abeyta. She is survived by her children, Michael Armijo and wife, Yolanda of California, Joe Armijo, Margie and husband, Mark Quintero, Herman Armijo and wife Brenda, and Linda Harry; her three brothers, Ben Abeyta and wife, Mary, Seve Abeyta and wife, Dolly, Frank Abeyta and wife, Chris; one sister, Jennie and husband, Alex Vallejos. She also had eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she loved the ministry and people. She will be greatly missed by her family and many wonderful friends. BARTLETT -- Ellsworth Choate Bartlett, Jr., a resident of Henderson, Nevada passed away on February 26, 2011. He was born on August 25, 1916 in Colorado Springs, CO to Ellsworth C. and Vera M. Bartlett. Doc was a retired Osteopathic physician and surgeon who had a practice in Albuquerque, NM for many years. He was a Mason and member of the Shrine. He was also an active member of Lions Club International in Albuquerque. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist in Albuquerque and of the Green Valley Baptist Church in Henderson. He had lived in Henderson since 2004. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Francis R., in 1996 and by his second wife, Doris Jean in 2009. Doc is survived by his son and wife, Ellsworth T. and Linda M. Bartlett of Las Cruces, NM; his daughter and husband, Rebecca A. and David Wesbrook of Thoreau, NM; his daughter and husband, Nancy and Treven Follis of Henderson; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by five step-children, Bob Clement, Lake Mary, FL; Mary Clement, Portland, OR; Jeanne Clement, Hawaii; John Clement, Ohio; and Neil Clement of Michigan. A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m. on March 5, 2011 at the Green Valley Baptist Church in Henderson, NV. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. The Palms Mortuary in Henderson handled the arrangements.

BUTLER -- Troy W. Butler, 74, a resident of Rio Rancho for three years, made his transition on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Dottie M. Butler; daughters Kim Toten and husband, Allen; and Donna Buffett and husband, John; sons Christopher Butler, Curtis Smith and Daryl Smith and wife, Tabatha; grandchildren Tiffany, Matthew, Rustina, Darylynne, Lakota, Tyler, Mitchell, and Lauren; and two great-grandchildren; sisters Joy Davidson and husband, T.J. and Betty Babovec and husband, Albert Lee; brother Terry Butler; and a large, extended family. Troy was a member of Chamisa Hills Country Club. He was a shuttle driver for American Toyota. Mr. Butler retired to New Mexico from Reading, PA to be close to family and friends. CAIN -- Reina Carmelita Chavez Cain, age 79, a resident of Belen, NM for the last three years, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Kaseman Hospital in Albuquerque, after a short, but serious illness (pulmonary fibrosis). Reina and Craig lived in California for the most part where she worked with TRW, Aerospace Industry Company. After retiring she pursued beadwork, producing many beautiful pieces of jewelry. Reina and Craig fulfilled their lifelong dream of being full time travelers. They traveled in their RV, from Alaska through Canada, North America and Mexico. Reina is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Craig Arthur Cain; four daughters, Marcia Beckerman and husband, Jeff, Brenda Spaniol and husband, Vince, Marla Hibberd and Mercedes Van Pelt and husband, Steve; eight grandchildren, Danette, Andrew, Morgan, Kendra, Aaron, Danielle, Carla and Jason; one brother, Clifton Chavez and three sisters, Syria Burrola and husband, Danny, Lucinda Martinez and Dolores Repik and husband, John. She is also survived by many loving and wonderful nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her two sons, Wesley Blake and Mark Kominer; parents, Alfredo and Seferina Romero Chavez; three brothers, Juan, Atalio and Audilio Chavez and four sisters, Beatrice Lueras, Esther Ferrari, Ermelina Chavez and a twin sister, Rosila Chavez. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Friday, March 4, beginning with a visitation at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. CONLEY -- Geraldine "Jerry" S. Conley, 92, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1961, died March 1, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, D C Conley. Geraldine was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Luther and Ethel Sullens. She and her husband, DC, were owners of an independent insurance agency in Albuquerque until they retired in 1979. Mrs. Conley was a member of Central United Methodist Church and was a volunteer in the church office for many years. She was an avid square dancer and bridge player. Camping trips with her husband were one of their great enjoyments. DIXON -- Edna P. Dixon age 84, of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011. GARDNER -- Charlotte Rae Gardner, born September 22, 1945 in Tulsa, OK, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Mary of Port Orchard, WA; cousin, Tony Huntsberger, who was like a son, his wife, Frannie; daughter, Kimberly and son, Robert of Okmulgee, OK; and many nephews and nieces including great nieces, Katie and Krissie Bressan of Albuquerque. After more than 30 years of work at local camera stores, Charlotte retired, concentrating on her own business, Charlotte's Fotos. She was a photographer with a talent of capturing the beauty of the Southwest and sold her photo cards at several businesses and many enlargements at local arts and crafts shows. Charlotte was also a member of Albuquerque Photo Gallery in Old Town. Charlotte won many friends with her wonderful personality, warm smile and kind heart. HEALY -- Katherine Healy, born June 10, 1915, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Katy came to Santa Fe in the 1930's to teach first at the high school level and later at the elementary school level. She married her husband of over 50 years, Stuart, who preceded her in death in 1994. Katy lived a full life with passions for history and art. Her paintings are expressions of her love of life. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Healy, of Albuquerque; and her son, Jim, daughter-in-law, Debra, and grandchildren, Jake and Alissa Healy, of Cedar Crest; as well as three surviving sisters, Nancy Buchanan of Washington State, Olive Dollar of Columbus, Mississippi, and Bonnie Bruce of Vicksburg, Mississippi. LARSON -- Milton G. Larson, age 93, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2010, in San Antonio, Texas. Milton was born on June 23, 1917 in Manton, Michigan. In 1940 he married Eleanor Greenberg of Cadillac, Michigan. Milton served his country proudly in the Pacific Theater during World War II. After the war, he and Eleanor raised their family in Cadillac, where he was a business owner. In 1966 Milton relocated his family to Albuquerque. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. Milton was preceded in death by his brothers, Theodore and Leonard; by his wife of sixty years, Eleanor; and by his son, Thomas. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lyne Larson, of San Antonio; by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary and James Grizzard of Woodleaf, North Carolina; and by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. MACKAY-WILLIAMS -- Paula R. Brockway Mackay-Williams, 67, a resident of Albuquerque was born on May 8, 1943 in Denver, CO and passed away Monday, February 28, 2011. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Pauline Brockway; brother, Dennis; and her first husband, Alasdair Mackay. She is survived by husband, Donald R Williams; stepdaughter, Susan Davis and husband, Bruce; and Steven Williams and his wife, Barbara, along with five grandchildren; two nieces, Lori Larson and husband, John and Susan Brockway; three grand-nieces and one grand-nephew; and cousins, Marjie Hines and husband, John, and Beverly Deines and husband, Ed. Paula is a graduate of UNM and received her Masters of Public Administration degree at USC. She served in the Peace Corps in Malaysia and continued to work and live abroad for numerous years. She moved to California where she had a diverse background of computing, sales, customer support and proposal writing. In 1995 Paula moved with her husband Don to Albuquerque where she continued to work in computing and enjoyed scrapbooking and digital media. She loved cats and enjoyed being with her friends and family; she was a caring and supportive person always concerned for others and giving back to everyone she touched. PANNELL -- Guy Newton Pannell, 81, longtime resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26th. Guy was born in Dallas, TX and married Marceline Danley in 1953. Guy proudly served in the U. S. Air Force for 27 years and was stationed in Maine, Korea, England and New Mexico over his career. He greatly enjoyed fishing and his dog, Irish. Guy is preceded in death by his wife, Marcy. He is survived daughter, Pam Lester; son, Douglas Pannell and wife, Kathy; granddaughters: Ashley Wickwire and husband, Eric; and Erin McCarrell; and great-grandaughter, Rylan Wickwire. POSEN -- Stephanie M Posen, 94, died March 2, 2011. She is survived by her sons, Bill Posen and John Posen; grandchildren, Bill, Tom and John; three great grandchildren, Michael, Brennan and Rebecca; and one brother Edward Lech. Mrs. Posen was preceded in death by her husband William F. Posen. Stephanie was born in Chicago, IL to Michael and Victoria, where she owned Cicero's School Grocery Store. She and her husband moved to Albuquerque in 1968 and she worked with pre-school children, helped out at Mitchell Elementary School and was active in senior citizens center activities. Mrs. Posen enjoyed dancing and had many friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. A service will be held Monday, March 7, 2011, 3:00 pm, at French, Lomas Chapel. TROY -- Yvonne Lang (Angel) Troy, 93, died February 26, 2011. A resident of Albuquerque for over 50 years, Angel was born in Rutland, Vermont to Retha Preville Lang and LeRoy H. Lang. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Irma Myers and Breneice Trombetta. She is survived by her four daughters, Susan Troy, Albuquerque, Malinda Lang Troy and husband, Dan Donovan, Los Angeles; Maura Troy, Tehachapi, CA; and Marcy Troy, Oakton, VA. She is also survived by her "kid" brother, Duane (Red) Lang, Albuquerque; one grandson, Todd Edwards; and one great-grandson, Troy Edwards, of Palmdale CA. She will also be missed by long-time family friend (and the son she never had), Rob Johnson, Dallas. She attended Castleton State Teachers College in Castleton VT and proudly served in the US Marine Corps Womens Reserve in WWII. Following her wishes, Mom has been cremated and a private ceremony will take place in the summer when she will join her tough Scots-Irish and hardy French-Canadian kin in the family cemetery in Rutland, VT. WILLIAMS -- Roena Mason Williams, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, ended her fight victoriously on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Jack Doyle; daughters, Althea McAneney and Mary Zsigmond and husband, Endre; grandchildren, Vincent McAneney, Andrea Zsigmond and Endre Zsigmond; and many nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren. She was born March 22, 1930 at Plymouth, IN. Roena was the fifth of seven children born to Avis Iden Mason and Ralph Mason of Etna Green, IN. Roena graduated from Etna Green High School in 1948 and attended Indiana University from 1948 to 1951. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She then transferred to the University of New Mexico where she received her degree in 1955. During the summer of 1953, she was a "Harvey Girl" at the Bright Angel Lodge at the Grand Canyon. Roena taught for Albuquerque Public Schools until her retirement in 1984. Cremation has taken place and friends may celebrate Roenas life on Saturday, March 5, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at Monroes Restaurant, 6501 Osuna Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Her cremated remains will be buried at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. YODER -- ROBERT GRANT Robert Grant Yoder, age 85, of Hallsville, Texas passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 in Longview, TX. Robert was born on July 28, 1925 in Johnstown, PA to Wilbur Kenneth and Emma Elizabeth Yoder.
