LOCKWOOD -- Eugene Edward "Eddie" (Big Grandpa) Lockwood Jr. passed away Friday, May 25, 2007. He was born January 31, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA, a son of Eugene and Goldy Belle Lockwood. He married Josefina Rodriguez, March 22, 1975 in Las Vegas, NV. She passed February 11, 2007. Survivors include three sons and three daughters: Mark Lockwood, Colton, CA; Julie (Kenneth) Amaya, Hesperia, CA; Eugene Edward (Nancy) Lockwood III, Fontana, CA; James (Rene) Lockwood, Shelton, WA; Juanita Lockwood, and Lisa (Chris) Blanshine, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Kenny (Reina), Thomas, Robin (Ivan), Steven (Wendy), Amber, Kevin (Jessenia), Matthew, Tiffany, Jennifer, Lauren, Daniel, and Hayley. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren: Ashley, Sonny, Ethan, and Johnny "Chubby"; two sisters and one brother: Nancy (George) Ferguson, CA; Richard (Hope) Lockwood, CA; and Carol (Dave) Harrison, VA. MARTIN -- Thomas "Tom" Cody Martin, 58, passed away peacefully at the family home on Monday, May 28, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Peggy; brothers, Jamie and Paul Martin; sisters, Francine Gibson and husband, Mike, and Betty Jo Trammell; wonderful nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Susie Martin. Tom owned Martin Painting Company in Albuquerque for 25 years before retiring to Lemitar, NM where he built a retirement home and lived for six years before recently relocating. The family would like to thank Dr. James Schneider and his staff for their wonderful loving care of Tom. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at the family home. MARTINEZ -- Eliza Romero Ulibarri Martinez, 75, passed away May 27, 2007 in Albuquerque. She had lived in Albuquerque since 1962. Eliza was an active member and devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband, Everisto Martinez; two brothers, Manuel Ulibarri of Portland, OR, and Mayo Ulibarri of Albuquerque; three sisters, Vivian Aragon and Flora Opel of Albuquerque, and Delores Serna and husband, Benny of Bosque Farms; three sons, Everitt Dean Martinez and wife, Jeanette, David E. Martinez, and Edmond Daniel Martinez, all of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Amanda L. Martinez and Aaron Dean Martinez; one great-granddaughter, Angelica L. Martinez, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Ramon Ulibarri (KIAWII) Daniel Ulibarri, Carlos Ulibarri, Gilberto Ulibarri, Anastacio Ulibarri, and Herminio Ulibarri; and three sisters, Amalia Stamper, Verna Monagham, and Belen Aured. Eliza was an extraordinary woman, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always gave of herself and never asked for anything in return. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. Services will be conducted on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Methodist Church, 3715 Silver Ave. SE, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. MCBRIDE -- Beatrice McBride was born in Cubero, NM, April 12, 1923. She passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the age of 84. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Amado and Veneranda Sarracino; brother, Joe Sarracino and daughter, Roberta O. Aragon. She is survived by her sister, Navora Miller; her three daughters, Margaret Moya and husband Amarante "Moe", Susanna O. Martin and Virginia Lasater; two sons, Albert "Boy" Otero and wife Kathy and Fidel Otero; son-in-law, Walter Aragon Jr.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great- grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Memorial Services will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will then take place at Mt. MORGAN -- SCOTT ALAN Beloved son and brother Scott Alan Morgan went home to be with the Lord May 3, 2007. Scott was born on May 3, 1964 in Gardena, CA and had resided for the past 13 years in Centennial, CO. His memory is cherished by his family and many dear friends, including his parents, Robert and Betty Morgan of Roswell, NM; brother, Robert Charles Morgan and wife, Monica of Olathe, KS; sister, Elizabeth Irene Ronan of Albuquerque; and twin sister, Sandra Alise Donohoe and husband, Larry, also of Albuquerque. Scott was beloved by nieces and nephews: Rachel and Daniel Morgan, Shawn and Ashley Richard, Amy Ronan, Samantha Trowbridge and Cassandra Donohoe. Scottie touched the lives of many friends in both New Mexico and Colorado with his generous nature and compassion for the welfare of all forms of life. An avid animal lover, Scottie once hiked four miles in a Colorado snow storm to get his dog to the veterinary. Scott loved music of all varieties and was gifted as a musician. A brilliant man and seeker of spiritual truths, Scott's final entry in his personal journal reminds us, 'Dear Friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. . ." I John 4:7-8. After a brief family celebration of his life, Scott's ashes will be released into the currents of time, that will honor his desire for us to experience peace and tranquility and to embrace love. The family request that friends remember Scott as the gentle giant who sought to make others feel special even in the briefest of moments.

NEFF -- Nolen Dean Neff, 62, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda; children, Jeff Seeber and wife, Patricia, Danny Seeber, Lori Gratz, Sheryl White and husband, David, Barbara Salazar and husband, Kevin, and Megan Neff; 29 grandchildren; several other extended family and friends. Mr. Neff was preceded in death by his parents, Nolen Edward and Bernice Neff. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. ROMERO -- William J. Romero, 74, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. He is survived by son, Bill Joe Romero; daughters, Celeste Romero and Cheryl Romero Brown and husband, Joe; granddaughters, Michelle Brown and Roberta Moree; grandsons, Daniel Brown, Samuel Brown, Matthew Moree, and Dylan Moree; great-grandson, William Dante Susco; great-granddaughters, Monique Nicole Montano, Sage Baros Brown, and Genesis Marie Montano; sister, Edith Giacomoro; and brother, Ronnie Romero. Mr. Romero was preceded in death by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Anna Marie Romero; and parents, Sam Romero and Lena Hamilton. He was an electrician with Yearout Electric for many years and later owned and operated Force Electric until his retirement. In addition to being a loving husband and wonderful father, Mr. Romero was a very talented artist and craftsman. His wisdom, insight, and love will always be cherished by his family. RULEY -- Timothy John Ruley, 54, a resident of Albany, GA, died suddenly May 15, 2007. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Konougres Ruley; aunt, Helyn Moyer; and cousin, Anne Parsons. He is survived by his wife, Shelby Ruley of Albany, GA; father, Robert Ray Ruley of Albuquerque; sister, Robin Rotolo and husband, Joe of Gonzales, LA; sister, Laura and husband, Greg of Corrales; nephews, Matthew Hartline and wife, Cristy of Albuquerque, Garret Speer of Corrales; and nieces, Kelly and Erica Speer of Corrales; four step-children; nine grandchildren; and two great-grand-children; and many cousins and friends. Tim is remembered as a man with a wonderful sense of humor and love of life. Services were held at Matthews Funeral Home in Albany, GA.
